Yuya is an amazing host with a lovely house! we loved our stay here, it’s very peaceful with a stunning garden to look at from the room. Nabari is a small town but you can explore it easily with the bikes he let us borrow. Yuya made us an amazing breakfast each morning and was very friendly and responsive. he provided us exactly what we were looking for, a quiet stay in a traditional japanese home as a break from the busy city atmosphere.

I spent a lovely 2 weeks relaxing in Iga and learning about ninja skills and haiku poetry. The host was very helpful in providing lots of recommendations and answering all my questions throughly. She also let us know about nearby exhibits and even talked to the people at the train station on my behalf when I was having trouble with my transportation card. The guesthouse was well taken care of, with great towels and comfortable mattresses.

Secluded location up in the hills. Beautiful inside and the garden outside. My time of visit it was raining and cool so it felt more than relaxing being there. Bathrooms were well and clean, complete kitchen with full size refridge was nice. Parking available. Great overall !

I don't usually leave reviews, but I want to remember this place, so I'm writing this. The first village I visited, called 'Iga', was really impressive with its quiet and peaceful atmosphere. In particular, this accommodation was a valuable experience that went beyond simply staying in a space, and allowed me to fully experience the traditions and sentiments of Japan. The house was a carefully decorated old traditional country house, spacious and pleasant, and the traces of time and neatness were well combined. The yard and garden were also really beautiful, and I felt like I was in a picture. Everything from the green landscape outside the window, the trees swaying in the wind, and the calm sound of birds made my heart feel comfortable. The host was so kind and warm that it was hard to express in words. I was really grateful throughout my stay for the polite guidance whenever I needed anything, and for the thoughtful care as if I was a family. The breakfast that you prepared yourself was also great, and I felt the warm atmosphere of this house from the taste and effort. The time here was a more valuable experience than any luxury accommodation, and the cost paid was not a waste at all. Rather, I thought it was a great fortune to be able to have this experience. If I come back to this house next time, I would definitely like to stay here again.
