Vacation rentals with breakfast in Truro

Had a lovely stay at Richie and Jill’s home. Which is exactly what it felt like home from home. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We only stayed one night as we did a theatre show, we didn’t have breakfast as we wanted to shoot away to the beach but Jill very kindly offered us a banana! Only took about 10-15 mins to walk into the centre although the accommodation was in a very quiet residential area. Spotlessly clean and a very comfy bed. We would not hesitate to stay again when in Truro next. Thank you guys!

Natasha was a warm and relaxed host. The accommodation was as described and the location is excellent, close to the railway station and city centre. I really enjoyed my stay with Natasha in Truro, which is a pleasant town with many cafés, shops, walking tours, musicals and more all within walking distance.

Andrew was very helpful and response from point of confirmation of booking. He was there to greet us on arrival and was very welcoming and friendly. He gave a tour of the shared areas and took us to our room. Our room was perfect for our needs, as was the location, we were there to attend a dance weekend workshop and this was vey close for us. Andrew was very helpful on check-out, kindly advising us of where we could go for a nice beach day out. We went to Perranporth, and this was indeed lovely, a beautiful blend of a lovely beach, plenty of cafes and bars etc. Well attended by lifeguards (our thanks too, to Andrew for his part in keeping us safe on the beaches, much appreciated x) and beautiful green scenery and hills curving around the bay. I would definitely recommend a stay with Andrew and we would happily come to him again when we are next in the area, if he had availabiluty. Very nice gentleman :-) Best wishes Dee and Adi

Really comfortable and well presented home away from home. Plenty of space for us as a family of four and we loved the large open plan living and dining area. The bedding was SO soft and we slept well! We appreciated thoughtful touches such as kitchen spray, tea towels, salt and pepper (we always forget it!) and a lovely welcome hamper. The weather conspired against us but we made the best of it and helpful information from Jo and Cassie gave us ideas for places to explore. Thank you both! Sarah and Ben

Easy check in with clear instructions. House was very clean. Space on driveway to park our Ford Kuga (Escape). Charging was also available from the driveway. 5 min walk to private beach and coastal running/walking path. 10 min walk to Charlestown. Kids room with bunk beds, kids books, and toys in the under stairs closet. This place was perfect for our small family, including our 4 year old and my parents. Coffee maker and well stocked kitchen. 5 min drive to ASDA. Simple check out. Overall, a great stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a brilliant time staying at Susie's house. Great location with a wonderful view and a lovely room. Susie was very friendly and helpful, and the vegan breakfast was delicious. A bonus was the four gorgeous dogs who were really friendly in the morning. Highly recommended!

The accommodation was great, clean and furnished very well. Bethan was a great host and very helpful. The local area is extremely beautiful so it is definitely worth spending a few days here at least.

Wonderful place to stay to relax and explore the many attractions around the Lizard peninsular. Beautiful spacious home with a dog-friendly garden, comfortable and really well equipped for guests. Diana was a kind and welcoming host with great advice on local activities and a big folder of local info, walks, places to eat etc. We loved Helford, Porthallow, Lizard point and Kynance Cove especially. And the characterful pub at Manaccan. We’d love to stay again. Thank you Diana!

Great place to stay, so close to local amenities and Lostwithiel was a great base for us to explore the rest of Cornwall! The flat was super clean and cosy, easy to find, and had everything we needed.

A perfect haven to explored Falmouth from. We were able to walk to the beach, the docks and the centre of town and return to a quiet, restful place with a beautiful garden and lovely cat! Joan was so helpful and kind and made us feel so welcome. And the shortbread is as good as all the other reviews say it is! I’d love to stay here again.

Michelle was the perfect host and the studio apartment absolutely idyllic. I was attending a pottery course a few minutes walk, so a perfect location. The breakfast was soooo yummy and the little extra touches very thoughtful. The accommodation is spotlessly clean; bed really comfy giving a great nights sleep; shower was fabulous. Any questions I had, Michelle responded straight away, you couldn't hope or wish for anything more. I completely recommend both Michelle as a host and her accommodation (there is also a self catering cabin) without hesitation.

We had a very comfortable stay at Elaine’s place. Perfect size and location for a short visit to Truro. It’s a downstairs apartment but very fresh feeling, good lighting and clean. Having a small fridge, kettle and place settings were nice to have for coffee and simple breakfast. Hot shower and mirror with shelves in the bathroom for storage. Would recommend it to others!

A peaceful and homely living space, walking distance from the centre of Penzance. David and Lizzie were really friendly and allowed us to check our bags in of before check in.

Loved this place. Beautiful, spotless clean, super comfy. Very thought through (many little details that made our stay delightful such as a little book with recommendations for our trip), cosy and relaxing. Shan was very responsive, and Kingsley was super nice and welcoming. We’d love to come back!

Chapel Amble Lodge was the perfect location for our two day visit to the Royal Cornwall Show. The Lodge was private, clean and well equipped. Being just a three minute walk to a great village pub was a bonus. Chapel Amble would be a great location for exploring the general Wadebridge/Pasdstow/Rock area. Katherine and her co-host Dominic were both very helpful and the instructions for our arrival were spot on. We had a great time and would like to visit again in the future.

Mel And Wayne were great hosts during our stay we didn’t realise they provided breakfast which was such a nice touch! Very welcoming great room and price would strongly recommend staying with these guys. We will be back thanks again. Luke & Leah

Staying at Crean Mill was a joy from start to finish- Grace and Steve strike the perfect balance of the friendly personal touch with giving you space and privacy…. The scones and cream were a delightful extra treat on arrival and the system of leaving the cool box with a delicious breakfast outside the room at a time that suits you works a treat. The room was beautifully furnished with everything you need and the garden is absolutely beautiful. We had a peak at the Shepherds Hut as well, which is also available to rent, and that was just as beautiful and very private. Our visit was based around a trip to the Minack Theatre and it was the perfect location for this, but also a great spot for visiting Penzance and Sennen Cove. Very good local recommendations from Grace and Steve as well. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!!!!

We only stayed one night but it’s a lovely place to stay. The property description is accurate and we found it clean, tidy and with breakfast provided (croissants, grapes, milk, muesli, butter, jam, tea & coffee). Claire was very friendly and responsive. The property is very close to Truro and Nancarrow Farm (which is why we chose to stay there). Good recommendations for restaurants too. Be sure to look at the instructions for finding the property as the satnav won’t take you directly there based on post code.

Carefully appointed rooms with lots of thoughtful additions, a delicious breakfast provided, checked in often to see if I needed anything, and helped with what to do locally. I had a fantastic time here.

Stephanie and Paul hosted me for my trip of 10 days along the coast of Cornwall, doing many day trips. Chosing Newquay and especially their place as a home-base was the best idea ever. They are very helpful and open-minded people and I enjoyed a large room with a very comfortable bed, plenty of space and a nice view over the Atlantic and a shared well equipped bathroom. I enjoyed my stay and had a great holiday - thank you so much for everything!

I would recommend this place as a great location to explore Cornwall. Hosts were friendly & communication was excellent throughout. Enjoy 👍😎
