Wonderful cabin with an incredible view of the fjord. Bright and comfortable, with lots of common spaces useful for our needs. It was the perfect base for our ski mountaineering week in Lyngen. Also, the gem is the outdoor hot tub where you can relax under the stars at the end of the day. Maria and Andreas have always been available and very friendly, welcoming us even in the middle of the night due to a delay in our flight. Highly recommended!

We were looking for a place for a short stay, with easy access to various attractions in this part of Norway. Frank's house was perfect for that. It's located about two hours from Nordkapp and right by the scenic road to Havøysund. The house has a beautiful view over a river, fjord and mountains. The village is super calm and there's nothing to do there but we liked it that way. The living room is spacious and offers lots of comfortable places to sit - pillows on the windowsill, armchairs, sofa, take your pick. Wi-fi was super fast but its range didn't extend to the terrace. Frank's house is right across the river. That's useful if you need any help as he can come in two minutes. At the same time, this means less privacy as the two houses face each other. The bedrooms could use proper curtains and not just blinds because they still let in a lot of light through the sides (we used some blankets to make the bedroom darker; otherwise it was impossible to sleep in the summer).

The place was just as described, super cozy and with a fantastic view. Arthur gave us a very warm welcome, gave us some tips for Tromsø and even brought drinks for the hot tub. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. Thank you :)

Per was an exceptional host! Out of 100 stays, he is by far the best host we have had. Per made sure everything was perfect for the stay. The kids loved the snow on the farm and Per sorted out a sledding hill for them along with all the bits and bobs needed to enjoy the cold weather. He went above and beyond and I am grateful for the hospitality and love that he showed myself, wife, and three kids. Thank you!

Stay and book within the city of Tromsø for 2-3 days and the rest of your stay, you MUST book one of Freddy’s campers. Beyond the city, you will see the real beauty of Tromsø. We stayed at Freddy’s place for 5 nights! Within six days, 1. We saw the Aurora Borealis dancing right in front of Freddy’s property. 2. We watched the most beautiful green, pink, purple Aurora Borealis during our last night right at Freddy’s backyard. 💚💜💖 3. We hiked twice in different areas 30-mins away by driving from Freddy’s place, 4. We had a walk in the nearby area 5. We ate quail eggs (gifted to us by Freddy). 6. There was a day when we just stayed in the camper, enjoyed the view and read a book. We also walked around the area that day. 7. From afar, we saw Moose and Reindeers. 8. Max the cat, the ducks and Geese are a plus! So adorable! We really wanted to get around the places outside the city, good thing Freddy had an extra car for us to rent. We can assure you, renting a car and driving around is worth the view, worth the everything! 😉 The camper was clean, complete and organize as we arrived. For two people, it is very spacious. The view from the window is stunning. The camper is well-heated. 30mins away, there is a local grocery store. We ate there once and we liked it, and we did our groceries from there too. Karin welcomed us and explained to us everything. Freddy was very helpful with many tips to give us. You can ask him anything about Tromsø. He lent us snow shoes and walking sticks for hiking. We wouldn’t have hiked without it. They are both hospitable and very interesting people to talk with. So if you’re planning a trip outside of Tromsø city, Freddy’s camper is the place to be!

We cannot say enough about how lovely our stay was at this beautiful property. The views, the comfortable accommodations, the sauna and jacuzzi, cozy and well supplied kitchen…Tromvik Lodge had it all! We really appreciated how responsive Tore was since we needed some guidance with it being our first time in Norway. He made everything accessible for us and we felt right at home. Despite it being cloudy during our stay, we had two spectacular nights viewing the Aurora borealis! It was a dream come true in the most perfect setting at this lodge.

We were very much looking forward to our stay in Norway and the host was always available. We chose to stay in peace and nature with sauna and hot tub. For the use of this, we had to pay extra which is not very clearly stated. For this price, maybe a little more wood provided because you will certainly not be able to use this and since the price is already pricey anyway, if this is unlimited, we find it. The house was clean, spacious and beautiful view. However, a dangerous staircase, especially the hole down when you are upstairs. Children who are playing do not always have this in mind, maybe a fence provided for safety! The fireplace is definitely a plus because we love this coziness. We were able to admire the northern lights 5 of the 6 nights from the terrace. The kitchen equipment may be a little more extensive. We missed a mixer to mix our soup and a colander to shake off the spaghetti.

This was such an incredible find - we were looking for a place to recuperate before flying out the next day and this house was perfect. Edna and Bosse were proactive with check-in and even swung by early in the evening to say hi and provide some fun information about the surrounds. The place itself was spacious, kitchen was well equipped and bathroom was clean and tidy. Would 100% stay here again if I was ever in the area!!

Nick and Penny were extremely helpful and helped us to settle down when we arrived, got us some essential groceries and guided us. The surroundings are peaceful and have a great view. We could see dancing Northern lights at midnight from their apartment. It was a beautiful experience to stay at their apartment.

This place truly feels like a family home not only is it warmly furnished, but it also has a beautiful soul. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt completely at ease and instantly at home. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered from batteries and pens to board games and a variety of candles. These may seem like small things, but when you’re staying in a home for a while, they become surprisingly essential. Their presence speaks volumes about the host’s kindness and hospitality. Everything was exactly as described.The key system, the dishwasher, the oven, the stove all easy to use and clearly explained. The house was clean, well-organized, and welcoming. After our intense trip to Svalbard, with its stunning Northern Lights and breathtaking nature, this home gave us the perfect place to rest and recharge both physically and emotionally. Thank you so much. We truly hope to return someday. With love.

The apartment is located in a quiet area at the top of the mountain. The bus stop is a few hundred meters away. Across the street you have a beautiful view of the city, on the last evening we watched the northern lights over the house, the city and the Storsteinen from there, really very nice. For skiers (cross-country skiing), the area is perfect. In the immediate vicinity are several illuminated cross-country trails (e.g. Charlottenlund or Prestvatnet). I also liked the Tromsø Alpine Park. They are very nice hosts, I didn't have to ask any questions, as everything was already answered via the Airbnb app (code for the key box, Wi-Fi, garbage separation, access to the apartment, ...). Since it was not my first stay in Tromsø, I did not need excursion tips, but there are several brochures for this on the shelf. By bus you are in the city in about 10 minutes. The surroundings (generally northern Norway) are beautiful.

Our Stay at Essie’s and Pieter’s Cabin was marvelous. The Cabin was really cute and convenient, the location was perfect, close to the nature and in a calm place. It was perfect to stay during winter, and we will come back someday to discover the place during summer !

Lovely cozy old small cottage house, immediately felt like home <3 A little squank so vertigo on the first evening but it passed the next day. Went for daily morning swims in the sea, baked bread and skiid mountains. Perfect peaceful location on Kvaloya. Especially lovely snd functional kitchen, even had a smoothie blender and beautiful bowls. The road to the house tends to be undrivable if it snows and slushes but it worked great to arrange snow clearing directly with Siv’s brother Gaute who lives nearby (because if you park near the main road, then nobody can clear the snow). Ha det bra och tusen tack för allt!

The cottage was in a beautiful location. The cottage matched the description and was a functional whole. Good fishing opportunities. Tommy was a hospitable host

Very nice hosts and very cozy chalet. The cottage is close to a lake, from which you can observe the northern lights well. The drinking water is extremely good! Thank you, we'll be back! ☺️

We have been lucky to have traveled to a number of Airbnbs around the world; this one is outstanding. The view is stunning, the space is ample and lovely, hosts are gracious, couches and beds comfortable. We loved hiking and exploring the area, and also resting and recuperating in this amazing apartment. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We were very happy staying with Leena. We were there already for the second time and we think that we will come back again. Cross country skiing in Saariselkä is great, nature beautiful, services for tourists and skiers excellent.

Super welcoming welcome, with a filled fridge and freezer and breakfast for the next morning! Never experienced this before in an Airbnb location! The location is within walking distance of the city center in a quiet neighborhood. We were in transit, great place for an overnight stay and slept wonderfully.

Beautiful, peaceful and quiet place. It feels like travel in time. Beaches covered in shells and corals, easy scenic hikes in the area. I wish I owned a place like this. Hanne was super helpful. Well equiped kitchen. I hope I will visit this place again in the future.
