Whether you want a place to relax, in town for work, hunting or at the music festival this place is perfectly located and easy to get to. There is a basketball hoop outside for the kids (and adults) to enjoy and a back deck to grill from. If you like to cook you can fix your favorite family dish in the farmhouse style kitchen. We are located 1 1/2 hours away from Kansas City and 2 hours away from Des Moines.

Includes Fiber Internet. Private owned lake for your viewing pleasure only. There is no water access included for guests. Yard and gazebo with table and chairs available to use. Sanitized and cleaned with covid precautions in mind. We do have a twin bed we can add to the lake cottage if requested.

Newly remodeled interior (we are still working on the outside!!) two blocks from Walmart and two blocks from Washington Street. Good parking on and off street. Wonderful open floor plan to host a family or just a comfortable place to stay. We are going to be as pet friendly as we can but please let us know if you are bringing pets (type, sizes and number) before booking. We have carpet in the front room and bedrooms. THANKS!

There is plenty of countryside to explore as well as farm pond great for fishing about 100 yards from the back door. Great place to experience the country life and get away for a few days.

We had a lovely stay this week. The house was very well kept with beautiful views of the lake. The kitchen was fully equipped making it easy to prepare meals and everyone loved the cozy screened in porch. Plenty of room in the bedrooms and bathrooms. They are also handicapped accessible which was wonderful for one of the people in our party - it made his stay much more comfortable. We were so appreciative! Tim and Megan were quick to answer any questions we had and made sure our needs were met. We are looking forward to booking again next year! Thank you!

This place is located right off the square in Chillicothe. Its a great place. Its also very convenient to walk around downtown to see the shops and the wonderful murals on the sides of buildings. There is a great coffee shop across the street and around the corner. We had a wonderful time and will come back here again.

This was a weekend getaway for my husband and I. Lori was so gracious and kind. The camper was well appointed and super clean. So many extra details including locally made cinnamon rolls upon check in. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. She provided a fire pit and wood for a lovely fire. It was so enjoyable sitting by the fire watching and listening to nature. Occasionally, we would see an Amish buggy travel down the road. I had a blissful soak in the hot tub as well. The camper is close to shops and restaurants in town. By the time I left, I felt like I had been reset and ready to take on the normal routine of life. I look forward to a return visit.
