Villa vacation rentals in Tremezzina

Views are stunning and the bathroom is new, but things to be be aware of : Getting a car in and out of the drive is very difficult/dangerous, especially with nobody to help as you have to back in/out onto a fast main road. Very noisy as the property is a just a few feet from the main road and windows are single glazed. Couldn't let our dogs outside if we popped out as we couldn't open the electric gate without the risk of the dogs running into the road. Risk of children and pets falling into the lake, as there's no fence/rail in many places. Only one shower, so a challenge to have multiple guests. Not sure is it was a short term issue but there wasn't enough hot water for 2 people to have a shower - the second person got an ice cold one!

The house was gorgeous inside and outside. The view was even better than I thought. Very quiet and peaceful. The host was very helpful and responsive. The lift was helpful for me and husband so we didn’t have to go up and down the steps. The only thing I didn’t know about was the house was very close to other houses. I thought it was more seculuded. I would definitely stay there again.

Amazing location just minutes from bellagio and situated a short stroll to the water taxi of San Giovanni. Was a perfect stay!

We had a wonderful time with an amazing host. She made us feel very welcome and added a few welcoming touches to ensure we had everything we needed. She was also available to any problems we had. She was flexible with our checkout and gave us some nice treats to take away with us to help us remember our time there.

My Home in Como were excellent communicators before the holiday and for check-in. The house was perfect for the 5 of us. It was very clean throughout. Three main bathrooms, plus extra toilet, all with plenty of body wash/hand soap /toilet paper. The kitchen was well stocked - everything we need to cook in /BBQ. The beds were soft but comfortable. The location gave beautiful views over Como. Nice sized pool. Outdoor table and chairs for relaxed meals. The house is up a steep hill from the village, which meant that by the end of the holiday we were much fitter than at the beginning!

We had an amazing longer weekend stay with a few friends at Andrea's place and I can only wholeheartedly recommend it!!! It has a really nice location with possibilities to explore numerous things around (by car). The kitchen was very well equipped and we were amazed at the number of available amenities. View from the balcony was simply breathtaking!!!

Lovely house with spectacular views! Easy walk into town and the waterfront and ferry, and not too far from the train station - we walked it with suitcases. Sharon was a terrific hostess with plenty of local tips. She gave us a warm welcome to the house with helpful instructions and local advice, and nice welcoming touches like fresh flowers. Colico is a beautiful place just off the beaten Lake Como path, but plenty to do and jawdropping views in every direction.

The location of this villa was absolutely incredible! Waking up each morning to a quiet coffee on the terrace overlooking Lake Como felt like something out of a dream. The view was breathtaking and set the perfect tone for each day. With the town just a short walk away, we were able to explore local shops, restaurants, and the lakeside promenade with ease. The walk added just the right amount of exercise to feel refreshed without being tiring. We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful, beautiful, and convenient place to stay—truly unforgettable.

Fantastic location to enjoy the como beaches and activities and restaurants and town of Colico Villa itself is fantastic to relax with great outdoor seating and pool area (which was lovely to cool off from the sun but still a nice ~20/22 degrees)

This place was such an amazing stay for our family. Hester and Michel have done an incredible job with the design and furnishing of the place. The views are incredible and it is just steps to the water. You get the full experience walking up the many steps to town, but it makes the place even more special. The patio and garden are a great place for your morning espresso or dinner with the whole family. Definitely one of our families' favorite places we have ever stayed.

Erica was flexible and available for our every need and request. He welcomed us in person and guided us to this beautiful house all restored and connects an ancient-modern contrast that makes us dream. The house has everything that can be useful for both cooking and organizing a nice lunch. The rooms are super cozy and spacious: in 11 we were very comfortable. As described, the temperature inside the house is 18°, but it may seem lower given the dispersal and low outdoor temperatures in January. The hot water seemed to disappear from the shower for a few seconds/minute, but come back with a shut-off and reopen. ANYWAY, we had a great time! Like at home and in this wonderful space that we definitely recommend for a getaway, a weekend in the mountains and with friends. Thank you Erica!

Our family loved staying with Sonya and Simone. Five stars is not enough. They welcomed us with beer, wine, and food and we instantly felt right at home. The breakfast they served was amazing and they worked with our schedule. They even went above and beyond and mended our four year olds toy. On top of that, there was really unique art and themes throughout the Airbnb that made the place truly unique. I highly recommend staying here.

We spent 4 nights in Valerio's home. The house is very large , we were 2 families, so the two independent accommodations were very convenient. The house is close to the center of Cernobbio 10 minutes walk. Charming village . It's easy to take the boat to visit the towns around the lake. The view from the house is nice. Small downside for parking: we had a 9-seater vehicle and it was very difficult to get into the driveway (narrow gate width) and turn around. Another thing to review: many broken furniture: the sofa bed in the living room has one foot less and was held with a stack of books, also broken bed slats and chairs too. Outdoor furniture would have been nice because you had to take the table out of the inside to put it outside. As well as a few outdoor chairs to enjoy the park and the shade would be more. We recommend this property for a stay in Como

Villa Ida was very comfortable for our 4 day stay. We were two couples and the house was a great set up for us. The kitchen was well equipped for us to make meals. The beds are comfortable and there is a view of the lake from the two upper bedrooms. There were two terraces to enjoy that were very peaceful. We made use of the hot tub and the gym. The house is in a great location - 1 minute walk to the ferry at the end of street, walkable to restaurants and grocery stores. Also walkable to the Villa del Balbianello. Our host was responsive to any questions we had and met us at both check-in and check out. I would definitely recommend Villa Ida.

Very clean environment and with every comfort. It's like feeling at home. I enjoyed everything... from the soft and fragrant linens, to the terrace where it's a show to eat, to the pool to cool off. Katiuscia's dad set up umbrellas and deck chairs for us every morning. The place is very relaxing and is a strategic point for reaching beautiful places to visit. Thanks for hosting! :-)

Elisabetta was certainly a Sparkly Host! She warmly welcomed us and enthused about the villa and surrounding area. She gave us many excellent tips about where to go and where to eat. The villa itself surpassed our expectations, providing ample accommodation for our group of 21 including 9 grandchildren. The villa is exceptionally child friendly. with plenty of age appropriate toys, lovely pool and table tennis. There were loads of tables and chairs, giving a variety of places to eat, both inside and out. We were celebrating four big birthdays, 40th,30th,30th and my 70th. This was a fabulous venue for such a gathering. The surrounding area around Lake Como is stunning, with excellent walks and outstanding mountain restaurants ... Do follow Elisabetta's recommendations. We enjoyed a truly magnificent holiday in Barni.

This property was incredible with absolutely stunning views that took our breath away. When you wake up, you can look out and see Bellagio across the lake, a truly unforgettable sight. The house is beautiful, spacious, and perfectly equipped for a group of eight. Deborah, the owner, was warm and helpful throughout our stay. The outdoor space was large and perfect for relaxing while soaking in the lake and mountain views. The location felt very safe and walkable, though it is on a hillside, so be ready for an uphill walk. The quiet, narrow roads and passage ways were great to explore. The walk can be a bit challenging, but the views make it more than worth it. Taxis are also easy to arrange if needed. Menaggio was the perfect place to stay, charming, peaceful, and a great base for exploring Lake Como. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this property.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The house has stunning views over Locarno, Ascona and the lake. Wonderful for a few days off.

We had a fantastic week’s stay in the Villa. The outdoor area are even better in person than they were in the pictures. It is set in a brilliant location, where we could get to the ferry station with a 20 minute walk. Stefania was a wonderful host. They checked in to make sure everything was ok and responded very promptly if we had any questions. Would highly recommend

The house looks good like on a picture. When we checked in , it was not cleaned up after previous guests, bus Susanne was responsive and organize quickly a cleaning lady and refund us cleaning fee . I’m satisfy with a stay. The only minus that you can’t park right in front of the house, might be uncomfortable if you carrying heavy things. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Marcus and Simona are perfect AirBnB hosts. The place is gorgeous; even better than the photos, which do not do it justice. The house was immaculate, and the most comfortable bed and linens I’ve experienced in a rental. Marcus went out of his way to accommodate us with recommendations and assistance from months before we arrived and always made himself available for help. I brought my older parents with me, who had some issues with the walk to the house - it’s about 2-3 minutes downhill and through cobblestones and rough gravel to get to the house - but worth every minute once you are there. I recommend you pack as light as possible - we had 3 large suitcases and 2 huge duffel bags plus carryons because we are on a long trip, which made it extra tough to load in and out. I actually left 2 suitcases in the car and took what we needed. Aside from the challenges because of our bags and some limited mobility, their home easily ranks in my Top 3 of all places I’ve been. Will be back!
