Stylish Coastal Cottage Walk to Beach & SW Path

JennyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Eleanor’s cottage was perfect for our family of four. It is next to the creek and a very short walk to the pub and ferry. The cottage was great, with comfortable beds and everything we needed. We picked up some supplies on our way to the cottage at the supermarket in Helston, but the local shop in Helford was handy too. Parking was on the creek or up in a nearby car park (a 2 minute walk up the hill). We bought a ticket for the week and left the car there except on the days we were venturing further afield. We had such a great holiday and would definitely recommend this beautiful part of Cornwall and Eleanor’s lovely cottage!

Riverside Cabin

A beautiful place to stay. Really enjoyed the craftsmanship of the cabin's construction and the cosy ambiance when the fire was going. Beautiful walks along the quarry valley woods.

Tranquil getaway in Gillan Cove, SW Cornwall

AngelaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful, quiet and convenient location for south west Coast path. Some narrow roads leading to Oink. Accommodation tastefully decorated, yes it’s compact however, perfect for two. Wine, scones , jam and cream provided and very welcome. Kitchen well equipped I hadn’t realised there wasn’t a freezer draw so couldn’t freeze Ice packs or ice cubes (minor issue) Bed beautifully comfortable and shower spacious with good water pressure. I also left a couple of things behind and Andrew contacted me Within an hour of us leaving to let us know and posted it back FOC. Recommend it and would stay at oink again

This is the second time we have stayed at the Cabin. Can’t fault it at all. Beautiful and rustic surrounded by nature! What more could one wish for. Lovely personal touches by the host. Our 4 legged fur baby enjoyed the stay too.

Trelowen, self-contained apartment - Helford River

MariaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a lovely stay at Trewince House, would highly recommend it. The apartment was clean, comfortable and tidy, with a comfy bed and a hot shower. The kitchen was well equipped, the lounge is light and airy. The apartment is part of a beautiful house, with a large attractive garden, perfectly situated to enjoy the peaceful location, and starry nights, weather permitting. A very narrow lane approaches the house but it’s not too long. Port Navas is a little jewel just waiting to be discovered. Susan gave us good local knowledge for walks, places to eat etc, and was always quick to respond to any queries. We can highly recommend the delightful little PN Yacht Club, where dress is casual, the food and ambience really good. Special mention to Melissa who makes everyone feel welcome. Would definitely book in advance. Had delicious fish and chips at the Ferry Boat Inn. Would also recommend a cruise with Hetty, from Helford River Cruises, who was friendly and knowledgeable.

Secluded woodland cottage, close to SW Coast Path

JamesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our fortnight stay at the cottage was lovely, very peaceful - we loved the solitude. A great base for coastal walks and birdwatching. Some great places to eat close by - Fat Apples and Roskilly's spring to mind; unfortunately we never got to eat at the local pubs. A great butchers in St Keverne provided some great local produce, not just meat, but cheese and vegetables too. Deanne was very friendly and we enjoyed our conversations with her about herbalism and plants. We would definitely consider going back for a cosy winter retreat!
