The actual situation is basically the same as the photos. It's a 15-minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake. There are two coffee shops in the neighborhood, perfect for slow living.

I had such a great time staying here! The place is tucked right above a Laundry shop, so I almost missed it at first, but the host was already waiting and came out to greet me as soon as I reached out. She was incredibly welcoming and took time to walk me through everything in the room. The space itself is a bit smaller than I thought, but it’s really clean, well-organized, and the balcony has a charming view of the street. The neighborhood is lively and walkable with plenty of local spots to explore. Would absolutely recommend!

I stayed in Min’s apartment for 3 months and it was great. Min is a wonderful host who provided perfect instructions for checking in (it's down an alley) and was always cheerily responsive when communicating, but otherwise hands-off. The place was exactly as described/depicted. Lots of light through the main window, with a nice view of the neighboring homes and some beautiful tall trees. Some noise from the street (children playing, ladies dancing, garbage truck music) and the neighbors and down the alley, but that’s the charm of a bustling old town. The apartment had hot water (flick the switch outside the bathroom), perfect wifi, a big comfy bed, and a modern TV. In three months I didn’t cook once, such is the availability, affordability, and abundance of food nearby, but there is an induction stove, rice cooker, and assorted pots and pans. The apartment got cleaned every 4 weeks, that was nice. Oh, the location: ideal, close to the lake and all the must-see parts of old Hanoi.

Such a beautiful and peaceful space! The design is minimalist yet cozy, with lovely natural touches and great attention to detail. The bed was comfy, the layout was spacious, and the greenery wall was a wonderful touch. The host was kind, responsive, and made everything feel easy and welcoming. A perfect retreat — I’d love to come back!
