This is a beautiful home in a quiet and picturesque part of Normandy. This large holiday home is ideal for a large family with 2 en suite bedrooms and a spacious dining/living area. The property is within a group of approximately 6 large private holiday homes with their own private gardens. The horse paddock in the centre is a focal point with well kept, gentle horses. The communal swimming pool is well maintained and warm and the whole family enjoyed it. Elie was attentive and helpful and on site if needed. We met Isabelle on leaving who was gracious and lovely. A lot of thought has gone into this home. Our family had a wonderful stay. This area is remote but towns and various sightseeing is all within 30-60 mins drive. I would recommend to any family that want a quiet getaway. Thanks Elie and Isabelle.

Nous avons passé une nuit très agréable pour notre Road trip en Normandie, logement très accessible grâce aux instructions données. Petit chalet très propre, bien aménagé, rien ne manque pour passer un agréable séjour au calme. L’accès à la piscine du camping grâce aux bracelets nous a été d’une grande utilité en cette période de canicule. Nous reviendrons sans hésité !

What an amazing place the pictures don’t do it justice. There was everything you need and more, it is very well equipped, from kitchen equipment, pool equipment and everyday necessities! We have two young boys and everything you require is already there. Our boys loved it, especially the play area and pool. Lovely hosts, lovely home and very clean and tidy If we are in the area again in the future we would no doubt book this again.

We cannot say enough great things about my stay at Sophie’s place — it was truly exceptional from start to finish. Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful and peaceful countryside of Normandy. The Gite was perfect for us and our 19 month old son and we really appreciated the cot, high chair and stair gates provided. We were extremely lucky with the weather so enjoyed the amazing pool and played many games of Pétanque. Highly recommend and we would love to return.

What a gem this house is! The house was full of charm and nice touches, with a beautiful and spacious backyard garden. Our family enjoyed the history of the area--an easy walk to the Baterie--and its proximity to Bayeux.

My family of five (three of them young children) stayed here for a few days during a three week journey around Europe. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to visit the D-Day sites and this home made our stay 100% enjoyable. It is my favorite AirBnB I have ever stayed in. It was perfectly clean, had everything we could have thought we needed, and the location was absolutely perfect. Thank you for letting us stay in such an amazing place!

We felt so at home here! Véronique and François were lovely hosts. As historians, we especially liked the old house and history of the area. It's a terrific location to visit the sites of WWII and those much earlier. We live in the country, so we also enjoyed the quiet and dark skies. Highly recommended!

It is very close to all Normandy historical attractions yet the property is tucked away in a small village that is quiet and peaceful. We had a short but truly lovely stay! A perfect place for our family--we could all spread out a bit after a week sharing hotel rooms. Loved the location--the views were charming. Proximity to Bayeux was excellent--less than a five minute drive to the town center parking lots. Very clean, clear instructions, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen (though we didn't cook!). We'd definitely return. Thank you for a great stop on our road trip.

An informative detailed plan for the DDay beaches was provided by Francois. lovely flat perfectly located for easy walk into Bayeux. there is a Saturday market 5 mins away, typically French. Our host was always happy to help with info and advice. we will definitely be back and recommend to family and friends.

Voor de 2de keer hier verbleven en het blijft een absoluut geweldig huis. Geweldig uitzicht waar je rustig de getijden van de zee kan zien komen en gaan in absolute rust. Ongeacht het weer is dit een fantastisch huis, bij mooi weer lekker op het terras en bij wat regen een blok hout in de kachel en lekker in de woonkamer verblijven.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 3 nuits dans la jolie maison de Carole et Marc, située près de Bayeux – un emplacement parfait pour visiter les plages du Débarquement. La maison est très propre, confortable, bien équipée, et le calme des lieux est vraiment appréciable. Nous avons particulièrement aimé la terrasse, très agréable pour se détendre en fin de journée. L’arrivée était simple grâce à une boîte à clés, et nous avons ensuite eu le plaisir de rencontrer Carole et Marc, très accueillants et attentionnés. Nous étions une famille avec deux ados, et même si la maison ne dispose que d’une seule salle d’eau (ouverte sur la chambre), cela ne nous a pas posé de souci particulier – il suffit juste de s’organiser un peu. Un grand merci à Carole et Marc pour leur accueil – nous garderons un très bon souvenir de ce séjour.

Valérie’s place was exceptional! Every little detail was beautifully catered for from the quality linen to the yummy French teas and coffee pods. Valérie was the friendliest host and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and gave us so much local information and points of interest. We were sad to say goodbye. Definitely the best Airbnb we have stayed in.

Maison bien équipée ,propre , terasse et chambre à l'étage avec vue mer . Idéalement située. A peine 3 minutes à pieds de la plage et des restaurants de bord de mer. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Amazing place to stay, lovely owner and beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Relatively close to a lot of touristic sites if you are by car. Would love to stay another time, we enjoyed our time here so much!

Great house for visiting Normandy with 4bed/bath..fully renovated but with old world charm...for summer lounge chairs and bbq and fireplace for cool nights... location central enough to visit from Entretat to Mount Saint Michel....resteraunts and stores walking distance and a great short hike to cliffs and Omaha beach

We hebben een paar heerlijke dagen gehad in Normandië. Deze accommodatie is perfect gelegen als uitvalsbasis om de vele bezienswaardigheden rondom de landing in Normandië te bezoeken. Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk ontvangen door de host, die ons veel waardevolle informatie gaf over de omgeving. Tijdens ons verblijf hebben we de host verder niet meer gezien, maar ze was altijd bereikbaar als dat nodig zou zijn. De accommodatie is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het toilet en de douche zijn aan de kleine kant, maar aangezien ons reisgezelschap uit twee mannen van ruim 1.95 meter bestaat, is dat begrijpelijk en zeker niet storend geweest. Al met al een fijne plek om te verblijven en we zouden deze accommodatie zeker aanraden aan anderen.

Un sejour parfait avec ma copine , une hôte a l'écoute et qui prend la peine de se déranger en personne pour nous aiguiller sur la régions et les infrastructures disponible le cadre est paisible , zone de vie très fonctionnel je recommande fortement , merci et a bientôt 😁
