Monthly Rentals in Torteval-Quesnay

The gite was great, it was very clean with plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen. The countryside location is lovely. It is conveniently located for visiting D day beaches and Bayeux and easy to get to Caen ferry port. Veronique and Thierry were very welcoming and quick to respond to any queries we had. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay and wish we could have stayed longer!

We were warmly welcomed by Janine. She is a very thoughtful host, who is good advice and who made our stay most enjoyable. Janine was both responsive and non-intrusive. The accommodation was very peaceful, comfortable and well-equipped. Janine's paintings very nicely embellish this small, functional space. We really enjoyed the interaction with Janine, and we thank her for her delicious gifts (fresh eggs and small pastries). We recommend this listing, we'll be happy to go back if the opportunity arises.

We had a great long weekend in Samuel's barrel. The barrel is very comfortable, it feels like a cocoon in the middle of the fields. The weather was nice, we were outside (in the rain, it would probably have been different). Small electric stove for quick cooking (outdoors), a basic shower but it does the job, and an extremely pleasant Nordic bath! We left this weekend refreshed and delighted. We highly recommend Samuel's barrel (who is, moreover, a very kind and helpful host).

Very nice, warm host with good tips. Know the area well. Close-by shops and restaurants, beaches 30 min away. Close to the Chivré estate if you are looking for a place to stay as a guest. hairdresser opposite. Quiet and pleasant accommodation with all amenities.
