Beachfront vacation rentals in Torch Lake

Wow! if I could turn my car around and go right back to Miriah's place, I would do it in a heartbeat! We took our 3 kids for a quick Fall Break trip to Elk Rapids and we all fell in love with Miriah's place and this amazing little town. The house is a perfect layout for families, with lots of common spaces to hang out together AND enough sitting nooks for people to find quiet places to read and relax too. The kitchen has got to be the most well stocked Airbnb kitchen I've ever been to. Next time, I'll plan to cook more because now I know Miriah's house literally has EVERYTHING you might need to cook and serve a big group. The house was spotlessly clean, the furniture was super comfy and we slept super well. We loved walking to the beach, playing at the playground, watching people catch fish by the dam, walking to the shops in town, and enjoying the incredible views. This place exceeded our expectations in every way. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great time at Torch lake. Ryan was a great host - very responsive who left very good instructions, recommendations for restaurants things to do in the area. The home is very clean and well supplied. The pontoon is very nice.

This stone cottage is absolutely adorable. Everything you need for your stay is ready: comfy bed with super soft linens, clean towels, soaps, coffee and maker, and the list goes on and on. Nick greeted us as we arrived and was very hospitable. He left us a kind, welcome letter, fresh flowers, chocolates, and wine! The cable tv and WiFi worked perfectly too. But THE VIEW and LOCATION are amazing! It could not get better! Beautiful lawn, stone walls, and a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. And it’s literally a 2 minute walk to cross the street and rock hunt or walk the beach! The neighborhood homes are mostly stone and historic-so beautiful. This place is peaceful and serene, and we will be back! Thank you, Nick. We had a great spring getaway! We’d love to return in the summer.

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Elizabeth’s place and was exactly as described- beautiful lake view/sunsets, well-equipped, comfortable beds, and great layout for multi-family (a plus I could bring my pup along)! It was a perfect centralized location to the activities we had planned for Memorial Day weekend (1 hr to Mackinaw City, 1 hr to Traverse City, 10 minutes to Boyne City, 30 minutes to Charlevoix and Petoskey). Elizabeth was very responsive and ensured check-in/check-out went smoothly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Place was exactly as described. Perfect location for our needs and the ability to bring our dogs was a huge plus. House was spacious and well kept. Would stay here again

Super cute and cozy cabin that was perfect for our group of 6 while we were in town for the Bayshore Marathon. We enjoyed our stay!

Corey’s place was perfect for our needs. We loved being able to pull into the garage and let our dogs out directly into the fenced yard. The home was beautiful, very clean and had a wonderful layout. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen and bathrooms, there were even games. We enjoyed the beach access and the sunrise and sunset views. I really hope get another chance to stay here.

Gary was a great host. The home comfortably fit 2 adult couples for a long weekend stay. We are regular visitors to the area and the view is second to none. Bedrooms were comfy & kitchen was well stocked. Price was very reasonable for what the home had to offer. If I had a complaint it would be that it wasn’t the cleanest. I understand it’s up north & fall time but a simple sweep of the bugs at the front door and organizing the back patio would’ve helped. I also understand that the garage is normally used for storage but this particular weekend it wasn’t so it would’ve been nice to use all the amenities the home had to offer. With all that said I’d still rent from Gary as he was super responsive and helpful with any requests.

The property at Boyne is a classic and has maintained a warm place in our memories which we have returned to decades ago after decades. There is history and seasoning in everything which has traveled and joined in our time and hopes every time we attend.

We loved our stay at Ryan’s place! Perfect stay for Shanty Creek and even Boyne. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of room, and gorgeous views!

We love the Gaylord area! Reasonable distance to Mackinac Island and all the wonderful places and beautiful wildlife.

As always, Shanty Creek did not disappoint! The view was spectacular, with full fall colors popping! We got to walk the Legend golf course several times, and the colors were amazing on that, too. This unit is cozy and absolutely perfect for a couple getting away for a few days. We would definitely return to this unit any time of year!

This was our first trip with our 4 young adult children, their spouses, & our grand baby's 1st vacation. Absolutely thoughtful and intentional details to make our stay fun and cozy: yard games, kayaks, beach lounge chairs, fire pit and Adirondack chairs, cozy blankets to snuggle on the sofas, and spacious property allowed us to have privacy yet spend special time together. Also, the dining for 10 was just perfect with all the kitchen appliances and supplies to make special home cooked meal.

Holly communicated very well and answered questions very quickly. The home is beautiful and clean. Outside wild turkey and around 10 deer ran through to the valley below. It’s close to the shops and the lodge. We walked to dinner and drinks. I would definitely book again and would recommend this place and Holly!!! Thank you for a great place to stay over the weekend!!!

Lots of amenities that are in walking distance! Loved to be on the water with a dock near by and a pool for the kids! It was wonderful!!

Michael place was great! He also very accommodating with a last minute booking and changes.

We couldn’t have asked for a better fall weekend up north. The colors were fabulous and the lake was gorgeous. Ben and Alessia’s cottage is wonderful and has a prime location on the lake. They had all amenities that we could ask for in the cottage. All the beds were very comfortable and the living room is cozy. The fire pit outside was great to have a bonfire too. Everything was so nice and clean and there was easy access to whatever we needed. We had no complaints about anything and would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a great vacation up north!

This cozy, quiet, very clean and homey space has become our favorite rental home of all we have rented. The personal touches really made us feel we were staying at a family or friend’s home. It had paper ware, seasonings, clean pots pans, coffee, zip lock bags, candles throughout the home. The bedding, pillows and towels were top notch. Not to mention the wonderful hot tub, kayaks, dock space, grill and fire pit. I will make mention the 2 bedroom are upstairs. 2 full bathrooms but bathroom upstairs next to bed rooms is a bathtub only. Mark was so pleasant and attentive to answer any of our questions and we look forward to a return trip.

Lovey home. Beautiful location. Very clean. Amply stocked. Great communication. For those who have problems with many stairs…. This is NOT a good fit. There are twenty steps each time you enter or leave the home. Outside there are more stairs to move to the lower level.

What a wonderful stay! Haley, you are the hostess with the mostest. This was hands-down one of the most jaw-dropping Airbnbs we have ever stayed in,perfect for a bachelorette weekend! The place had everything like, show up with nothing but your underwear and you’d still be set. Super clean, beautifully decorated, and so well-stocked (from the front door hooks to the unlimited amount of towels available). There was even a whole binder with everything from how the awning and remote works to where to grab food nearby. So thoughtful for those who aren’t from here! The beds were cozy, the pillows were a crowd favorite, and there was so much space for all our games. We had access to control the air/heat (big win), and we loved the stash of games (well the winners did) The location was a dream….right on the water and walking distance to some food spots and liquor stores. Only downside? The weather didn’t let us fully enjoy the dock and patio, but we were too busy loving everything inside.

Gorgeous lake property! The cabin is so cute and rustic, and definitely conveys the peaceful simplicity of days gone by. The kitchen amenities are good since we ate in many nights. The bedrooms are spaced nicely apart, were clean, comfortable and the kids especially loved the bunks with the wide assortment of books and games! It doesn't have a TV - which is a good thing - so we just used out ipads and connected to the WIFI for those times when the kids were tuckered out and just needed some quiet time. It's a great location and walkable to downtown Alden. The sunsets are stunning with lots of seating and tables outside to enjoy! Chris is very friendly and super responsive and when I sent messages, he immediately responded. A great host!! We thoroughly enjoyed our week on Torch!! (We also rented a pontoon from Chris which worked out great since we were able to enjoy the sandbar at the South end of the lake).

Home was well stocked with all the necessities and supplies! We enjoyed a relaxing long weekend on the lake and evenings by the fire. The space was accommodating for 6, 2 adults and 4 teenagers.

Absolutely incredible stay at the White Birch Cabin with our family - 6 adults and 3 kiddos. The cabin is really nice, clean, and full of new amenities. We enjoyed a ton of time on the deck and down at the beach. We used the kayaks and paddle boards everyday on the calm bay. We also enjoyed a short drive to Charlevoix to check out the town and do some shopping. Tyler was super responsive to any questions we had while we were there. Would 100% return! Thanks Tyler!
