Sunny Inverness Cottage

Private and peaceful guest cottage in the Seahaven neighborhood of Inverness. It is 15 minutes from ocean beaches, bay swimming and the restaurants and shops of Point Reyes Station. This comfortable and clean one bedroom, one bath cottage is located down a long driveway that is shared by the main house and is surrounded by forest. Walls of windows in the bedroom and living room let in light and forest views, but the orientation of the house allows for privacy. The living room has a wood burning stove, small kitchen (oven, stove, small refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster), small TV with cable and DVD, wireless internet, a deck with table and radiant floor heating. The bedroom has a queen bed. The bathroom has a full bathtub with shower and the toilet is in an adjoining room. Towels and linens are provided. Two sides of the property border the state park, and the cottage is only minutes from beaches on Tomales Bay. Maximum occupancy is 2. No pets. No Smoking. 1 night minimum. Please give us at least two days notice for bookings.

Turn the wooden steering wheel on the front door and enter a light-filled living room with high ceilings and sweeping views of the bay. Quintessential Tomales Victorian , our sanctuary when we can get to the coast. When we cannot, we open up the first floor of the house for guests to enjoy. The upstairs is locked but you have access to the entire downstairs & outdoor areas. You will be the only occupants in the house during your stay. Limit of 3 guests. Be aware we are in a remote area,and during inclement weather the whole town sometimes loses electricity.When that happens,guests will have to reset the pump in the garage

The Maple Cottage was designed by the owners to be a sanctuary for guests to their home. Surrounded by forest, Japanese gardens and water features, Maple cottage boasts large custom windows on all sides that let in ample light and provide views of the surrounding garden. The quiet, stand-alone cottage is nestled in between the two houses on the property. There is a garden patio for guests. Guests park in a designated parking area and a lit path leads you to the cottage.
