We got exactly what we wanted: a user-friendly and cozy cabin in quiet and scenic surroundings. Mathias was a perfect host. He responded quickly and pleasantly to our inquiries, and we felt at home in his cabin from the first moment.

Great place to stay for activities in the area. Will certainly stay here again if I return to Gaustablikk.

Amazingly beautiful with a big lake just over a small road. Rauland's ski area was perfect for our grandchildren (3.3.5 and 5.5 years) Plenty of wood we could use for both inside and out. We had a great week!

We were 5 people staying in the house in August. It’s a beautiful house as described with a great view over the lake. The information center for the national park is only a 2 minutes walk away. Nevertheless, the spot is private and very quite, perfect for a relaxing time. It’s a great spot for activities like hiking various trails nearby or visiting the national park. We were really impressed by the spectacular nature. The house was clean and had all amenities making our stay a great experience. Check-in was easy and very flexible. Stein-Arve was a very helpful and responsive hosts, providing us with many information on possible activities. We can really recommend the house for a stay in the area.

Great house, Open plan lounge with fire which was a lovely treat after a long day, great lounging space and the kitchen had everything we needed. Bedrooms were large , comfy, and quiet, lovely hot shower. The house was just perfect and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Emils instructions were spot on and finding the correct parking that suited us was easy based on his pictures and comments to us.

We were there for Christmas and New Year's Eve, and had a wonderful vacation there. Upon arrival, the heaters were burning and the Christmas lights were on, nice to arrive. A very cozy, cozy old farmhouse equipped with modern conveniences. Very fully equipped kitchen (only no kettle + washing machine), wonderful beds, warm wood/electric heaters., cozy rooms. The host was very quick to respond to any questions. Our kids also played very nice with the kids from the surrounding farms/houses. We have left a few tourist brochures for new guests. Good to know in winter: - the road to Uvdal and Dagali is closed as well as the road to Veggli, the road to the trails in Skirvedal is accessible - the road to the house is sometimes narrow and steep, and is well maintained in winter. For our 4x4 with winter tires no problem (unlike our friends: front wheel drive, 4 winter tires and 2 snow chain)

A really nice apartment that works perfectly. Very well equipped and it is possible to store skis on the ground floor in private enclosure. Ski-in/ski-out works optimally - however, be aware that you start on the black part of piste 22, which however very quickly turns red. However, there are shuttle buses to other areas if too difficult for some family members😊 Definitely an apartment and area we would be happy to come back to!

We borrowed a cabin for three days during the winter holidays, two adults and two children of 8 and 10 years. There are some ski slopes right by the cabin that we took advantage of, so there were two days of skiing. The first day we were at Gausta ski center, which is about 40 minutes drive away. We especially enjoyed the cozy and spacious cabin and the quiet area and we would love to choose this cabin again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay in Veggli. The cabin was nestled in the beautiful mountains, providing a peaceful and scenic escape. One of the biggest highlights of our trip was witnessing the northern lights dancing across the sky, an unforgettable experience. We also had so much fun playing in the snow, exploring the winter wonderland right outside the door. After a day of adventure, relaxing in the hot tub under the stars was the perfect! The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, making our stay even more enjoyable. The host was fantastic, providing everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a magical mountain getaway, and we would love to return.

We had a great stay at Pål's cabin :) It was very clean, Pål was very responsive, and it had all the amenities we wanted (full kitchen, sauna, hot tub, comfy beds). We had an abnormally warm weekend for early March but the snow was still quite nice and we were able to utilize the nearby cross-country trail with very nice views of the mountains. Hot tub was perfect end to the day. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic nice place and nature. Here you can have breakfast with a view of the Gaustatoppen. Good beds, well-equipped kitchen and a lot to do outdoors with, among other things, a stamp and fire pit. We couldn't get the WiFi to work, but we didn't try that hard to make it work. We would probably have gotten help with this if we had contacted Robert, who was very helpful

A perfect, tranquil setting close to our desired loacation/activity of ice climbing. The views over the lake are sublime. The facilities are excellent and squeaky clean! Homely, quirky and comfortable! Thank you for having us! We'd love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and cozy Airbnb! The place was warm and inviting, with a stunning view of the nearby waterfall — truly a treat to wake up to. The amenities were top-notch: we enjoyed relaxing in the Jacuzzi, unwinding in the massage chair, and having fun with the table tennis setup. There were plenty of games and activities to keep the kids entertained too. Grilling outside was a highlight of our trip, and the whole experience felt peaceful and private. The location is also perfect — very close to Gaustatoppen, which made our outings convenient and scenic. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking to relax and recharge in nature!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage on Veggli. The surroundings were calm and quiet, with beautiful nature right outside the door – perfect for relaxation and hiking. The cabin is of high standard and is very well equipped, with all the kitchen equipment you need and more. We had a great time, and this is definitely a place we would like to come back to in the future.
