"The Sibin" cottage

ShaneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at this lovely cottage for two nights over the weekend, and it was exactly what we needed. From the moment we arrived, Ted, the owner, made us feel so welcome — he’s incredibly kind and friendly, which really set the tone for the stay. The highlight of the cottage has to be the beautiful fireplace that Ted had prepared for us. We spent both evenings curled up in front of it, playing board games and enjoying each other’s company — it was the perfect cozy escape. One thing to note is that there’s no Wi-Fi, but honestly, that turned out to be one of the best parts. It gave us the perfect chance to truly disconnect from the busy pace of everyday life and reconnect with each other without distractions. If you're looking for a peaceful, charming place to relax and unwind, this cottage is an absolute gem. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Accommodation in Moneygall

We were visiting to go by an old friends grave nearby, but in the end the location is really very convenient. We were an hour from Shannon airport which was nice because it was rural, but close. We had an extra few hours and popped down to Cork. We will stay here going forward if travelling to or from Shannon. Communication was excellent. Just all good!

Cosy Crann # Private Treehouse |Hot Tub & Sauna

AlisiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I can't even describe! Our Honeymoon was the best at Naomi's! Beautiful decorations, amazing hot tub and sauna! We enjoyed the warmth of the stove at night as well! It was so magical with the fairy lights at night! We truly enjoyed and made the most out of our night! I noticed a few reviews that we're complaining about the toilet and shower outside and that they wouldn't have booked it otherwise(I mean kinda get over yourself) If you're from the countryside you know what's it like! This was even more luxurious than what my grandparents used to have 30 years ago! You're surrounded by nature and it's beautiful! Worth every penny we ever have spent! I wished I had met her in person to truly thank her for the beautiful experience she provided for us. We will always cherish all of the memories we have made there. I have never felt more relaxed and could hardly wake up the next day. We thank you from the botton of our hearts for sharing your lovely tree house with us!

Peaceful rural retreat, converted farmhouse barn.

AlyssaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
My partner and I had a peaceful stay at Nicola’s. The surrounding garden was beautiful, and the drive was pleasant. The space was simple with clean bedding and all necessary amenities. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure was good, and the bathroom was clean. Nicola was very kind and allowed us to venture into the garden, which was so lovely! I would highly recommend this stay to escape the city and appreciate the labor of love that is her home.

The Granary, Luxuriously Restored Barn on a Farm

MaryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We cannot adequately describe what a wonderful stay we had at The Granary. The home was perfect for us and Bee had great suggestions for local activities. We took advantage of a number of her recommendations and had a wonderful time. We really felt like we were at the home of a friend. We hope to make our way back here as we had just a perfect getaway. Since this is Bee’s planned retirement home it really reflected her wonderful taste and it was awesome to have a washer and dryer. Highly recommend

Killahara Castle - history, mystery agus welcomes

DionRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wow. The most unique place we’ve ever stayed in. Definitely the highlight of our trip. The place itself: dusty, dank, spidery, tricky stairs, odd layout, weird headroom. In other words, a perfect “castle” experience. The history of the property is evident and fascinating. The owners have done a thoughtful “conservation” of the original 15th century structure. And it was great to be away from the touristy places, in rural Ireland, with mostly locals, small towns and villages, and gorgeous rolling countryside. Highly recommend to anyone looking for authenticity.

MILLBROOK FARM

Unforgettable stay. Would highly recommend Willie and Noreen’s place. Unbeatable experience with the option to learn to milk and explore a dairy. The hosts were top notch and provided so many local recs. It made my dad’s first trip to Ireland quite special.
