Self-Catering Static Home in Bridestowe, Devon

JoyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Caravan clean and comfortable. Nice to have personal bits and pieces around, made it homely. The site was peaceful, quiet, and well maintained. Karen’s instructions had said I would need to make up the bed, but on arrival it was all done which was lovely. Was a good base from which to attend my Goddaughters wedding and visit other friends in the area.

Fallows Leap

BaileyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Patsy was a great host. She was extremely helpful for me and my partner, and she was always quick to respond. She was attentive to detail, i.e marshmallows for toasting, little chocolates for Easter, breakfast hamper, and a cocktail making kit with free drinks. Over all, Fallows Leap was a great place to stay for a relaxing weekend and Patsy was a wonderful host. Would definitely stay here again. One thing I will add is that the bed was very comfortable, although if you’re tall, you won’t be able to stretch out properly. One person could lay comfortably if lay diagonally but if you’re with someone and you’re both tall you may struggle. Everything else was perfect 👌🏻

Cosy One Bedroom Devon Lodge

LazizaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a charming and peaceful cottage - every detail was thoughtfully considered to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The welcome hamper was such a lovely touch, and finding fresh milk in the fridge was a delight. The cottage itself is spotless and well-equipped, with cozy bedding and fluffy towels that made us feel right at home. Newly refurbished pool was great and very clean. Located in a beautiful Ruby country woodland setting, it’s the perfect retreat to truly unwind for a few days. The cottage is ideally placed, not far by car from Dartmoor National Park, you can reach most of Devon within 1 -1.5 hour, some parts of Cornwall are easily accessible. Enclosed by Dartmoor, Exmoor and the north coast of Devon and Cornwall, Ruby Country is the ideal base for a relaxing visit. There is a lot to see and do. Nick was a great host - friendly and easy to communicate with. Thank you. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!

The Barn

EdwardRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay here was amazing, the barn was cosy and really well equipped for everything you need. The location is great for a really quiet getaway with some fantastic nearby walks and nature, but equally there's some lovely places a short drive away. Olivia was a great host and very welcoming, really helpful and there if we needed anything. Definitely a place we would come back to stay in again :)

Idyllic Valley, nr Brentor, Dartmoor.

LeahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I spent the weekend at a charming cottage with my husband tucked away in a beautifully secluded area, and it was exactly the escape I needed. Surrounded by nature, the views were absolutely stunning—rolling hills, quiet woods, and skies that lit up with stars at night. It felt like being in our own little world, far removed from the noise of everyday life. Carol and her husband were very accommodating to us and ensured that we were happy with everything in our stay. Would definitely recommend to all and we would most definitely stay again!

Quiet relaxing sanctuary for 4.

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely perfect. The setting was so tranquil and peaceful, making it the ideal escape from everyday life. I never had myself down as a bird watcher, but one of my highlights was watching all the different birds around the feeders and seeing the pheasant come along for his daily breakfast! It added such a wholesome and calming touch to our mornings. The hot tub was easy to use and truly made our weekend extra special. The secure garden also gave us peace of mind that our little dog could have a roam and sniff about while remaining safe. Locally, we found some stunning areas to walk our dog, with a different scenic experience every day. From open moorland to lakes and wooded trails, and even a beautiful river that by a small, wholesome village, every walk was a treat. Every little detail was well thought out, and we left feeling completely refreshed. We didn't want to leave! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!
