A great stay! Located in a great spot, wonderful for families! My kids had the best time in the backyard. Would 100% reccomended to anyone traveling through Tallahassee

Joanna is an excellent host! My daughters and I had to come to Tallahassee for a family emergency. Joanna went out of her way to make sure that everything was good and that we were comfortable throughout our stay. There are several grocery stores and restaurants within a 5 mile radius. I gave the location 4 stars just because there is a lot of construction going on around there. However, it was peaceful and quiet at night and we did not have any trouble with noise.

The place was great and close to FSU and FAMU, which made our commute so much easier. The neighborhood was quiet.

Michele and Ed were awesome hosts . Super nice people!! They were very responsive to any request or concern we had. They opened their arms to us and our fur baby during a very difficult situation we were in (displaced by a house fire at our house) and made our stay the best experience in a tough time. Communication was great, cottage was very clean and comfortable, and I would recommend this location to anyone!! Most enjoyable stay!!!! Havana is a quaint, quiet, friendly little town.

This house was a perfect place to host my family during a busy weekend at FSU. The house has many special qualities and my family and I were honored to stay in such a beautiful home surrounded by nature. I would DEFINITELY stay here again and look forward to our next trip. This place was a dream! My family of 10 were able to fit comfortably and enjoy the massive space. It felt very home-y and lived in. The pool and outside areas were wonderful! Would come back.

The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful with large old trees. We found the location perfect for our weekend. A short drive to the FSU game, great shopping, and restaurants. The house has been kept up, we enjoyed the period architecture of the neighborhood. Everything in the home worked perfectly, AC kept us cool. The pool was a delight on 90 degree days as well! We will stay again when in the area as the house is spacious and had plenty of room for our family of 7 and pups.

Her place is beautiful, clean, cozy, with all the amenities, exactly what we needed. Everything went as planned, she always responded within the hour. When I had a last minute change of plans, she was so gracious to accommodate our request. There’s a reason why she is a “guest’s favorite”. She truly is trust worthy. Norma’s place was perfect stop for my family and I. Traveling and providing personal services to others can be challenging if you don’t have a place to feel safe and settled during that time. We had a wonderful stay at Fern Hollow Acres for my sister’s graduation from FSU. It was the perfect quiet retreat away from Tallahassee. The home was exceptionally clean and well-organized which made settling in very easy. It’s clear the host takes great pride in maintaining a welcoming space for her guests! Plus it was so cute! We loved looking at the art from local artists and sitting on the screened patio listening to the birds. I would love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free and relaxing stay!!

Spent a week here for a fishing trip. Steve greeted me with some fishing info while Sandra made sure everything was exactly what I needed. They gave full access to their boat doc and lift. Privacy is no issue here while you feel you can call for help or info at anytime. This is the place to be if you want easy access fishing. Or even just a calm relaxing time by the water. Step outside at night and listen to all the critters sing! These two have a great thing going.

The cottage is comfortable and well appointed, so that it does a lot in a small space. I enjoyed my stay very much. Jim is a gracious and responsive host.

The house was clean and cozy. The AC definitely works because it was set to "arctic" lol. It's not a very big home, but it was adequate space for a family of seven that needed somewhere to stay on short notice. We were down for a funeral that was in Cairo. The only thing we did not have was a mop...which wasn't a huge deal. We just wanted to mop up the water after we took showers. Overall, it was a decent stay. We would stay again in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Rustic River Retreat. We came with our kids and young grandkids and everyone had fun. We loved tha canoes, kayaks, and fishing poles were provided, and we got to use them all. The river was beautiful and we could easily canoe and kayak upstream. The house was just as he said, rustic, and it was comfortable, private, and there was plenty of space for all of us. There were lots of windows with beautiful views of the surrounding area. We would definitely stay there again.

House was well organized, stocked and cozy. Great kitchen with all essentials. Outdoor area beyond perfect. We loved it and plan to come back again.
