My husband and I stayed at Theresa and Andrew’s little guest house for nine nights and were quite comfortable there. It’s a simple place but it’s cozy and has everything you need. The neighborhood feels so quiet and safe. The yard and fruit trees are spectacular! Theresa and Andrew are there if needed but if you want to be left alone, they will give you privacy. Personally, we adored them and enjoyed our little visits!

Larry was fantastic! We had a one week sail trip cancelled due to maintenance problems and Larry cottage was recommended to us for the week. He picked us up and showed us the best Beach around! He was always available and ready to help and be of service! Larry was our blessing in disguise. Our disappointing cancelled cruise was salvaged due to the kindness, help and awesome cottage and beautiful area of Exhuma - THANKS to Larry! The rental of his car was a major plus !! Once again !! A blessing for us !! Thank you, Larry !!

BEAUTIFUL HOME!!! We had such a great time here, it was so relaxing and peaceful. I met the owners while I was on the beach and they are the kindest people. Check in was super easy, they had a very clean space, and the beach access was AMAZING!! We felt very cozy and at home here. AC was perfection! I highly recommend this place while staying in Staniel Cay.

We stayed here while visiting for a wedding. It was just perfect for my husband and me. Joanne was very responsive and helpful with any questions I asked or very accommodating for things we needed. Loved reading and taking an afternoon nap on the porch. The garden and flowers are so pretty. I hope to go back one day.

Great place in the Bahamian jungle! Once we figured out how to optimally ration the A/C we were comfortable inside. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Biggest plus was the ability to use the cooler, snorkels, beach chairs and shade tent! All of which we used on some great beaches north and south of Swell.

WE LOVE TINY PINEAPPLE As always, we are sad to leave lovely Hopetown and the tiny Pineapple Cottage. We have had another wonderful vacation visiting best friends, munching conch, reading, and walking the beach. The tiny cottage is perfect for enjoying most of our time outdoors watching all the boats come and go from the harbor. We look forward to our return again next year!

My boyfriend and I had an incredible stay at Lauren’s tiny home! We felt very safe in the neighborhood and it was only a short walk away from the beautiful blue ocean. Even though it is a smaller space, it had more than enough room for the two of us and we didn’t feel cramped at all. The area was very quiet and peaceful; we were only a short drive away from downtown Nassau but we were so grateful to come back to the tiny home to relax at the end of the night. I would recommend Lauren’s place to any couple looking for a peaceful getaway in the Bahamas!!

Where to start… this place is truly special. If you’re looking for a fancy resort this isn’t it, but if you want your own private insane white/pink sandy beach, local charm, and serenity this is your vacation. We were there 6 nights and saw one other person on the beach the entire time. We walked on the private beach 2 miles every morning followed by a swim in the ocean and a shower in the outdoor shower loaded with local shampoo and body wash made by a teacher on the island. We walked to pascals and had dinner and hung out with Sammy, and searched for other beaches only to realize ours was the best. It rained and we played cards inside our romantic cottage and listened to the waves. This is a special place and we will be back.

We could fill a whole journal with what to love about Buccaneer Hill Cottage or the Main House. Everything was just perfect and it fit our needs like a glove. We have been coming to ELH for decades and this was one of our favorite stays. The work the owners have done in renovating and bringing this property to life has been spot on. Mona the housekeeper and Charles the grounds keeper are very pleasant and responsive and help with everything. I could go on and on but I think you get the gist of how we felt about the property and the owners and all the hosts!!!

Jim aptly named Serenity as it is the essence of a peaceful escape. Why this cabin isn't featured among the top AirBNB's is surprising as I have spent hours pouring over listings to find places as secluded or private as Serenity. Where else can you find miles of beautiful beach with only your own footprints on it? There is one other home about a half mile down the beach but nobody appeared to be there during our stay so we had miles of sand all to ourselves with no prying eyes. The cabin itself was a lovely space, and we had no issues adjusting to solar and found that with even limited sun, plenty of power was produced to run the fan, hotplate, lights, and keep our devices charged. We had no issues with bugs as even light winds seemed to keep them at bay. The kitchen had all the basics and the market is a very short drive, although food prices in the Bahamas are about 3-4X that of the US. My only complaint is that it's difficult to escape the sun and in the morning hours.

Paul was a fantastic host. I booked for my son. He was very helpful and gave us lots of tips. My son said the property was beautiful.

Theodore was an excellent host, very helpful and accommodating. The place was very clean, quiet and accessible. Exactly as described. Can’t say enough as to how responsive and helpful Theodore was during my stay.
