Such a nice place to stay, we had a good time on the cabin!! And Paula is so nice and helpful! I would definitely comeback to this place!!

The photos don't do the cottage justice. It was absolutely gorgeous. We were two couples, a toddler, and a dog, and we all had plenty of space and options for sleeping arrangements. We had gorgeous weather, but the rec room was packed with activities if we would've been stuck inside. Would absolutely recommend this place and would love to book again in the future!

We booked the Airbnb last minute and it was the perfect getaway! Very clean and Kim was very responsive. Kitchen has everything you need! Lovely stay. We saw lots of white tailed deer next to the house while on a walk!

Lovely house & nice yard. Scenic location near the lake. Clean, well run and a generously stocked kitchen. Hosts were easy to communicate with and obviously put in a lot of work and pride in renting the property.

Joan's place was a great place for us to unwind after the hectic day of our daughter's Nipissing Graduation. We stayed 2 nights in early June, the view of the lake was incredible and sitting on the patio listening to the waves lapping at the shore was just what the doctor ordered. The only problem we had was the fridge wasn't working, Joan had a bar fridge in before we even got there and it was lots big enough for us. Joan was super apologetic and even offered room in her fridge upstairs if we needed it. A trip out to The Trading post is always recommended if you like ice cream, cones are massive! We would definitely stay here again, Joan was fantastic to deal with!

Beautiful place. Waterfront was great for the kids. Nice and quiet area. Local stores had everything we needed. Good fishing in the immediate area. Would recommend!!!

It was definitely a pleasant & clean. We didn’t stay in the cottage alot during the day, as our main focus was to snowmobile. As we had friends close by. The cottage was bit warm for us, couldn’t adjust temperature. That’s not a big deal. We left early morning, we would love to come back again. Your communication was fast. Thank you!

Bowhey’s is such a special place. All the amenities, clean cabins, staff is always busy working on something to make it even more beautiful. Ian is so great and laid back. Saturday night karaoke should not be missed! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful view of the West Bay! Cottage was very clean and well equipped. Friendly, laid back people were staying in nearby cottages and trailers. We went to the Lavigne Tavern down the road for supper and had an excellent meal and service. Likewise, picking up ice cream from the corner store. Very friendly, warm, relaxed town - we'll be back!

What a little slice of heaven! Highly recommend Bowhey's particularly for families. Among the best features: The wraps (totally creative), the access to the dock, the pool (very large pool) and karaoke night (so much fun!). For just a week, I was able to have my son experience life like I did in the 80s and 90s. He met new friends, played games in the pool and outside and just enjoyed a simpler pace. If this is what you're looking for, Bowhey's is for you!

My first time experiencing cottage life. Ian and his family are good hosts. My children loved Ian. This resort felt very safe. The people that were there were very kind and friendly. it was not overwhelming, it was just right. You do have to bring your own pillows and linen. My suggestion, bring a fan. keep you cool at night. There is hot water. Karaoke night was a lot of fun. no judgement. Ian has a big variety of music. If you are coming from the GTA, you are looking at about 5 to 6 hours of travel time depending on traffic. We didn't get to do the trails because our kids wanted to swim in the pool all day. However, there are trails around the area. Canoeing was a lot of fun and the paddle boards were a challenge but a lot of fun too. There is fire wood present for you to use if you want to make a bonfire. There is a convenience store down the street. They sell essential groceries, beer, liquor, first aid and hot food. Some of his cabins have a really good view of the lake.

We had a great stay at the cabin. We were in town for a family emergency but this cabin was a lovely place to lay our heads and enjoy our morning coffee watching the water. We would definitely visit again under nicer circumstances for vacation in the future.

This place is absolutely breathtaking, being right on the lake, the view was beautiful from morning to night time. Usman was also an amazing host who responded to all our questions and concerns in timely manner before and during our stay. Could not recommend this host and their place enough. My family had an amazing time at Craig's cottage! Loved the location by the river, lots of great fishing spots! The cottage itself was very tidy and they have pretty much everything that you need in the kitchen! Loved the serenity of the river. Will definitely come back again!

love the peace and quiet, being unplugged, there was great fishing close by. cottage was fully stocked with everything needed and then some.

We had a wonderful stay at your Airbnb! My partner, our two dogs, and two friends joined us for the week, and the place was everything we hoped for—cozy, homey, and incredibly peaceful. The view of the lake was absolutely beautiful and added to the relaxing atmosphere. The space was perfect for two couples and our dogs. It’s truly a pet-friendly spot, with direct access to a fenced area where our dogs could play safely and freely. They especially loved the easy access to the lake—it was a highlight for them (and us)! Barry was a great host—welcoming, responsive, and made sure everything was just right for our stay. This is the perfect place for anyone looking to enjoy nature and take a break from the city. We’ll definitely be recommending it to friends and would love to return in the future. Christina’s place was a little slice of heaven! I stayed for a month and loved going swimming during the beautiful sunrises, enjoying the peaceful dock and relaxing. Also, as a mushroom enthusiast, this property had so many lovely sights - even a shrimp of the woods bloom at the end of my stay. Christina was so lovely and accommodating and really helped me feel safe and welcome. My cats loved the windows and bright open space. Would recommend this stay to anyone :)

We had a wonderful stay at Linda’s cabin! The location is absolutely perfect and situated right on the water. There were stunning views of the trees and nature all around. It was the ideal place to unwind and relax. We loved sitting by the campfire in the evenings and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The cabin was spotless and cozy. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our dog also had the best time exploring the area and being so close to the water, we didn’t think she would want to go home. We highly recommend Linda’s place for anyone looking for a quiet nature retreat!

All the amenities were exactly as described, and the place was sparkling clean. Despite the long drive to get there, it was well worth it—the scenic beauty made the journey enjoyable. We especially loved spending time around the firepit, using the BBQ, and soaking in the beautiful views. It was a perfect setting for quality family time, and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommend!
