Amazing! If you don’t stay here, you are missing out on a fantastic experience. Chris and Mona are incredible. such kind, generous and welcoming people. The meals they served us were so fresh and tasty, there are also lots of fun activities like snorkelling and fishing available here. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back again! Stella Maris is a very well maintained conduminium. Many plants and flowers and well kept grounds. Our villa Atùn was on a corner with a nice terrace with sea views and very close to the pool. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

So beautiful. The pool is mega! Very central, a mini market next door. We stayed for a week and had endured it longer. ❤️ Communication online was not optimal on site, but everything worked wonderfully. Thank you for everything

a great and peaceful spot to retreat from the world with good readings, or play in the waves. A very clean seafront villa, with the sound of waves, good bedding. Km of sandy beach without anyone, a restaurant on site, or the good little Gambian dishes of Loja Bert that can be taken away (15 min walk, in Morro), wifi (a little random) and Claudio's friendly welcome... what more could you ask for?!

We spent a week here and it was excellent. The house is basic but comfy. The property is very calm and since the studio is on a side path, not many people walk in front. The pool and it's view on the ocean and sunset is just breathtaking. The beach down a few stairs is super nice and easy sandy access to swim. When snorkeling you can spot some very nice fish and rock formation. The property is minutes away from the center, shops and food places. Make sure to try "Cha-cha Chicken" (location on G.maps, just 1 minute walk) and the tuna (atum) at the restaurant on the Fort José. The welcoming was great, the staff is very friendly. There was no welcome basket for us at arrival but it is not important. We got picked up at the port by someone with a Stella Maris sign (which is the name of the property). Pick up was fast and no issues there. Overall very nice stay and would recommend to anyone looking for peace, great swimming experiences and easy access to town.

Great place as others have mentioned...I had to book last minute and got a room. The room is very clean and in a residential area. Very calm comfortable and view on the ocean. There is the AC and shops are 20minutes away by foot. Carlos was very nice, welcoming and very responsive via messages . Wifi worked great as well. I recommend 100%

Alessandro was a great host The Check In and Check out was super uncomplicated. He let me take part in everything and gave me a taste of the island's livestyle. I would come back any time.

Amazing. Very nice house, magnificent view, the pool is splendid and the private beach at the foot of the house is absolutely wonderful - 10 minutes' walk from the village beach - very friendly with its small bars - and 15 minutes from the sublime wild beach of Preta - the hospitality is very well managed - The team helped us get ferry tickets - an ideal place to rest in the sweetness of Maio Island.

Andrea's place is very well located as it is a few 100m to the nearest supermarket as well as to the city beach a good quarter of an hour walk. The house has been lovingly built, the garden very green. Under the tree you can relax wonderfully in the shade. The barbecue invites you to fry fish and vegetables in the evening. The communication with Andrea went smoothly, there were very good tips and an answer to all questions. Clear recommendation!

Patricia and her husband offer a magnificent house with the most beautiful view! The apartment offered everything we needed - a pool, quiet rooms, a well equipped kitchen and an outdoor BBQ and all support we could think of of Patricia and her staff. All in all: we had a wonderful stay in Maio, it is really an island to calm down, enjoy nature, sun and the sea. Thanks a lot!

Super well equipped, clean and functional apartment. The bonus is the swimming pool in the building 👍 Note that it is in a residential area away from the entertainment of the center of Praia but in a very quiet area. Isabel and her nephew Djanine were lovely and gave us a lot of advice and helped us on several occasions to make sure our stay went smoothly!

This is a lovely house, with a large living room, a fully stocked kitchen, a veranda, overlooking the ocean. The house is very quiet, cozy, the pool is literally behind the neighboring house. From the pool you can walk down to the small beach. Big great beaches within a 10 minute walk. Nearby there are several shops, with a good assortment of products. And most importantly: we saw whales right from the veranda of our house, it's incredible!

Very beautiful and large house, very comfortable, with an amazing view, a peaceful terrace and nickel rooms. Close to the center, on foot. A big thank you to Mirtes, our host, edy, the driver and Vanusa, the cook who really took care of us. nothing to say. Thank you very much. Small downside for the extremely noisy water pump as soon as we use water. and for the pool that deserves a good maintenance. We recommend it.

Very nice accommodation, well located and very clean on the beautiful island of Maio. We arrived at 9am and were able to directly access the accommodation with transportation included from the port. The infinity pool is very well maintained and allows you to perfectly contemplate the sunset. Access to a private beach is also present and allows extreme tranquility.

Many thanks to Mirian for these welcome messages, and her professionalism. positive: the apartment is identical to the description and is super well located. You are a 15/20 minute walk from everything. We were super happy with our stay. Plus, Mirian is very responsive if you have any problems! In the evening you have a guard posted in front who is also very friendly. The apartment contains everything you need, washing machine, cooking utensils, microwave, gas stove, air conditioning etc... negative: - showerhead to be changed. - I would have appreciated 2/3 bags of tea or coffee for the morning and a pack of small bottles of water (because arriving at night from Saturday to Sunday) on Sunday everything was closed. Fortunately a taxi found us an open supermarket, it would be a plus for Mirian, whose cooks will appreciate the gestures. Apart from small details, everything was perfect. Thank you. All the best.

Me and my friends had a great time at this Airbnb home. It is very spacious, cozy and just meters from the beach. Elsemanual is very warm and friendly. She was quick to respond to any questions we had and address our needs. The roar of the ocean nearby helped make for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for a home away from home with a Cape Verdean cultural flair, I would highly recommend this place.

VERY NICE HOUSE!! FERDINAND was an amazing host - but does not live in Cabo Verde. Beautiful views from the house and terrace .. Very tastefully decorated ... BUT ... the Airbnb photo is misleading. there is NO beach in front of the house. Also no bottled water when arrive. the shower needs a LOT of improvement.

stevie was a top host, always responded and was ready if needed. house is central, tidy, spacious, safe, good WIFI connection so even if you are on vacation and you have to work it can be without problem. RECOMMENDED

We had a nice stay at Esther's, the apartment was clean and well located. Arriving at night, we had to wait a little before getting in touch with the caretaker but everything came back in order.

We had a great time at Charles's place. The apartment complies with the description, all the necessities are there. Charles is a very warm , helpful and very kind person. The apartment is very well located in the embassy area, 6 minutes walk to the first beach, 15 minutes walk to the plateau area. Recommended.
