Vacation rentals with lake access in Tarnos

Chris and Lotte have done a fantastic sympathetic restoration, of a very fine and spacious 1930s house, in a secluded and tranquil setting. It makes a perfect base for exploring delightful local surroundings, or further afield to the likes of San Sebastián. Chris and Lotte are very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Authentic house in a very quiet environment not overlooked. Very pleasant stay in a beautiful area with lots of walks for those who like to hike with elevation. Very well located house close to Biarritz, Spain, the ocean and the main Basque villages... We'll be there again.

The accommodation is faithful to the description and photos. Very peaceful and functional. We really enjoyed the very bright living room and the two terraces. Stephanie was clear in her instructions and always available. We are delighted with our stay!

I spent 4 days at this place, where I felt good. Feel at home. It's quiet. Pascal set up a table with chairs and an umbrella in the garden. It was nice to have a meal in the garden. Pascal lives next door, you won't be disturbed. There is no kitchenette with sink, but it is sufficiently equipped to cook. And I did my dishes in the sink in the bathroom. It didn't bother me. I was able to go to Capbreton and Hossegor. And I even went to the little Thursday morning market in St Paul les Dax, which I recommend. This accommodation is good value for the money. Had a lovely stay.

Very cozy, modern accommodation and in line with the photos in every respect. The location is an asset, with proximity to the lake, shops and the beach. Perfect bedding. And the best part, a garage with a very steep slope (be careful). Too bad the cleaning is extra but especially very expensive. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Nathan's apartment is extremely cosy, very clean, light and you immediately feel pleasantly at home, with beautiful furniture and details and sort of a cosy modern Scandinavian design touch to it :) It is ideally suited for two people, the bed is SUPER comfortable as is the couch in the living room too. It is situated very near to the lovely port area with nice restaurants and also walking distance to the charming Capbreton inner town and the beaches. The big supermarket Leclerc and a nice Laundromat shop are also in walking distance. Communication with Nathan had been great :) We truly loved our stay in Nathan's apartment and would love to come back again! 🌞

Thanks to Frederique for hosting us and for her responsiveness. Very nice location on the edge of the Chiberta golf course, a stone's throw from the Pignada and the ocean. Very well-equipped and clean apartment. Small, well-equipped garden also with umbrella, quiet plancha. I recommend it…

We had a great time, 10 perfect days, many services, the host (Juliette) was very helpful and attentive. Strategic location just a few steps from the beach, a few minutes from Biarritz and convenient to reach all the other beaches in the area. A wonderful small patio for aperitifs or eating, the indoor parking space is an absolute convenience. Thanks to the wonderful lady Juliette and her husband for these wonderful days. Highly recommended.

Pleasant stay in an apartment above Julien's house. Very well laid out, sober but pleasant decoration, beautiful exposed wooden frame. Close to the ocean with pedestrian access or bike path. Not suitable for people with disabilities but this is clearly stated in the description. At the edge of the ocean road, little traffic in early September 2024, what in the middle of summer?

Maeva's house is a real showcase to preserve. The space is perfect for people who like to capture the spirit of a place in an intimate and refreshing natural environment. The landlord is very delicate and warm. Thank you Maeva for this break at your place.

The stay went very well, in a large campsite with lots of activities available. At the very beginning of the season, so very quiet and pleasant. The location of the accommodation is ideal with a lovely view! The directions to our arrival were very clear, we picked up the keys in a lockbox without any problems.

The village of Hastingues is nice to discover, quiet. Just remember to take a good mosquito repellent, the proximity to the gaves brings some. We recommend this listing and will not hesitate to return if the opportunity arises.

The place was lovely and so peaceful! We had a great time in this beautiful area. The accommodation is very well equipped, quiet and without any vis-a-vis, a real jewel in a green setting. Chantal is a very welcoming host, she informed us very well, the communication was very fluid and she is very flexible. I would definitely recommend it without hesitation.

Very beautiful renovation 🙂 Location. With two small children we were able to access the lake, restaurants, skatepark and village by stroller. Bike paths are also accessible right next to the house.
