The unit was cosy and well-designed. Perfect for a short getaway. We booked last minute and were so grateful for how smooth everything was. Waking up to the sounds of local wildlife made it feel like a peaceful retreat. A charming spot with everything we needed, set in a beautiful, natural setting.

Mount Macedon-Stargazing-2 Luxe Outdoor Baths

Mistwood is just off the main street but feels a world away given it’s down a steep drive and surrounded on by natural bush land. The house is very comfortably, cozy and homely with everything you need for a long weekend. My only issue was the weather was so bad all weekend I didn’t get to use the outdoor bath! Nicole was an excellent host too.

The Barn, Kyneton Victoria

EllieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Barn is a beautiful space, and Jordan has a great eye for styling (to be expected when it's what she does for a living!). The barn had everything we needed, the bed was probably the comfiest i've ever slept in, the kitchen, bathroom and furnishings were nice and clean, Bobby (the resident Golden Retriever) was the absolute sweetest! It's only a short drive from Kyneton's main streets and was the perfect location for us to both base ourselves for some day trips exploring, but also to spend a lazy afternoon and evening on the couch in the most cozy and enjoyable space. If we ever have a reason to return to the area, I would 100% stay again! With a wood heater and 2 reverse cycle units, it was also very easy to keep warm!

Woorabinda Cottage Lauriston

We loved our weekend away in Julie and Andrew’s cabin, the only problem was we wished we could have stayed longer. It was the perfect cabin to spend a wet and wintery weekend. We had everything we needed, a super comfortable bed and were warm and cozy in front of the fire. We had a lovely guided tour around the property with Julie , Andrew , Jasper and Bella . We can’t wait to visit again.

Delightful cottage in the heart of the Goldfields

SurayaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had the most wonderful stay at Leah’s place the Nook on lemon – a beautifully restored old miner’s cottage in the perfect location at Campbell Creek for our gold hunting getaway. The cottage was full of charm, with beautiful furnishings and thoughtful decor that made it feel warm, cozy, and welcoming. Leah was such a fantastic host – incredibly helpful and kind. She provided us with detailed maps of the Castlemaine digging site, local tips, and even left marshmallows for the kids to roast over the fire pit, which they absolutely loved. The welcome note she left for us was such a lovely personal touch and made us feel instantly at home. We really wish we could have stayed longer – there’s so much to explore in the area. Dinner at the Five Flags was a definite highlight, and we wrapped up our trip with a delicious breakfast at The Merchant Café. This place is a true gem – peaceful, family-friendly, and full of history and heart. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you for hosting us!

A wonderful weekend at Liz and Keith’s barn stay! Despite cold weather, a very well insulated cabin kept us warm with the cozy fireplace. The place had everything we needed!! Some thoughtful extra touches including some eggs provided by the cute chooks on the property which were so nice to eat in the morning. My partner and I had such a lovely time. Thank you Liz and Keith for allowing us to have such a relaxing time away as well as letting us meet your beautiful alpacas!!

Brooker Tiny Home: Rural Luxury

MelissaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Had a lovely stay at The Tiny home. We stayed mid June so cold weather as expected but some beautiful walks through the forest that backs onto the home, the fire place made for a very cosy stay, everything we needed was supplied in the home. Georgina had great communication. We brought our little border collie who loved the area, we were aware of lots of wildlife but beautiful to see. Very much a place to switch off, minimal internet and no tv but didn’t need it.
