This is truly a fantastic place. It is an old totally renovated fishery. The size is 180 square meters, and the pier is 200 squares. The house has everything you need and appears today as a new exclusive modern house. It has 2 bath, bathtub, 4 bedrooms with a big (200cm x180cm) nice bed, modern kitchen, very good WIFI, 65" TV, washing machine and dryer, and an exclusive sauna. Old and new in perfect harmony. Renovated part of an old Nordland house from about 1890 with visible timber interior, new modern kitchen and bathroom. 3 bedrooms. My place is near the sea, family-friendly activities, nightlife, nature and the airport. You will love my place because of the view, the location and the atmosphere. One can enjoy the silence. My place is good for couples, traveling alone, business travelers and families (with children). It is about 200 meters to walk from parking to the cottage.

Absolutely recommended, this complete, clean, cozy cabin. The location is perfect if you want to visit the main sights of the Lofoten. Do not hesitate to follow Tom's Tips for interesting and beautiful, but quieter places. Absolutely a very valuable addition to tripadvisor and Lonely Planet, and perhaps the best aspect of this stay. Although… the nice seat outside, the lovely shower, the well-blinded bedroom and Tom's enormously hospitable, pleasant personality also score very high. A wonderful 'home base' during our stay in the Lofoten!

We had a very nice stay in the apartment. It was clean, tidy and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is central in Leknes, with walking distance to both the city center and several nice hiking areas. There is also a short drive to popular places such as Reine and Svolvær (about one hour each way), and the airport is right nearby, which made it very convenient. Communication with the host was excellent – fast, pleasant and helpful. Can definitely be recommended!

This was our first time in Lofoten. Everything exceeded our expectations. The house was absolutely gorgeous. We wish we could have spent more time in the chairs, looking out the windows, but unfortunately had too much to do. We did tons of driving, but it was a great location for us.
