Cosy bedroom for two people close to York centre.

My daughter and I stayed for two nights for the Christmas market. Spacious, comfortable room close to the centre of York, plenty of storage for clothes etc with tea/coffee making facilities inside the room as well as access to the main kitchen. Bathroom right next to the bedroom. Miles is friendly and welcoming as is his beautiful dog Alma, we felt right at home. Check in and check out were simple and flexible and there is free roadside parking right outside. We enjoyed our weekend and would happily stay with Miles and Alma again. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Julie’s place! The house is truly a peaceful oasis tucked away in a quiet residential area perfect for a relaxing trip. It’s about a 20–25 minute walk to the city centre, which we enjoyed though public transport was a bit infrequent. Still, it’s manageable if you plan your day ahead. The room and washroom was spotless and well set up with everything one might need, including a hairdryer and really thoughtful touches that showed how much Julie cares about her guests 😊 What truly made the stay special was Julie herself. She was warm, friendly and went out of her way to share tips, food spots, and even made a list of must-visit places in York. Her lovely and friendly Labrador Hector was a bonus always happy to greet us! 🐶❤️ Thanks again, Julie, for making our trip so comfortable and memorable!❤️

Rosie and Pablo are such lovely host, we felt very comfortable during our stay. Rosie was very accommodating with early check-in and the place is just like description a cost get away. Pablo is such a sweet boy and so well behaved be ready for some kisses from him.

I can really recommend staying with Naomi, especially if you’re a female solo traveller. Had a lovely stay. The flat is very nice, clean und cozy. Naomi is the perfect host. I had my space but she was always open for a nice chat. 5 ⭐️ Stay. The house is a 50 min walk away from town center or a 20 min bus ride.

Vikki was very accommodating, especially as we were only visiting for the night - arriving later than expected but that was not a problem at all and Vikki gave us all the help and information we needed. She was flexible, laid back and friendly which is more than you can ask for!

I had a most comfortable 5-day stay at Pen's place. The room is so cosy with a big, cushy bed and ample sunlight. She'd thoughtfully put out amenities like towels, hand cream, shower gel etc. Bathroom was right next door, large and very tidy. At the end of every long day of travelling around Yorkshire, I looked forward to sleeping in the room and fell right asleep. Kitchen was accessible and had everything I needed to do my basic meals. As a host, Pen is lovely, interactive and very approachable. She made everything easy, right from checking in to going in and out at my own times. I'm so glad I chose her place, it was totally worth the money I spent. I look forward to coming back to her place whenever I'm in York.
