A wonderful stay that's close to the airport (30 min walk). I loved staying in a more "local" neighborhood and still having the amenities of being close to a mall. Jennifer was extremely responsive throughout my stay and provided clear instructions and pictures for check in. Some things to note for future guests: the stairs leading up to the unit are very steep so be mindful if you have heavy luggage, the AC in the unit wasn't really strong enough to keep the apt cool enough for me during the hottest part of the day (this didn't bother me as I was out and about), turning on the hot water in the shower was not immediately intuitive for me so Jennifer had to give me instructions, if you need a REALLY hot shower, this might not be the place for you as after following the instructions I noticed it didn't get super hot (though the city is very hot so taking a colder shower was ok with me!) Overall a great value for a short term stay with a great host. Thank you, Jennifer!

Without a doubt, the jewel of the place is the view, it is impressive during the day, captivating at night, the bed is extremely comfortable, the bathroom is clean, modern and pleasant. The place has stable Wi-Fi and is close to several restaurants. I definitely plan to return. It's a great place to rest from the city and connect with nature or for a romantic date.

A super quiet place!! You can see different species of birds and Doña Vera is always super friendly.

I had a great stay here. The kitchen had everything you could wish for, there was not one but two coffee makers and a blender. The private garden was nice and I enjoyed making use of the pool and gym. The only slight downside is that there are a lot of dogs in the building so it is inevitable to hear a bit of barking, but other than that it was a perfect place to stay in San Jose!

Safe place, perfect location and very friendly hostess

I had a wonderful stay at Angelita's! The location is fantastic, very convenient and easy to get to, with parking available right on the property, which made coming and going a breeze. Even though I was barely at the place during my trip (I left every day before 5 and got back at night), I still really enjoyed my time here. One small note for future guests: be mindful of dog poop in the parking area. I accidentally stepped in it twice while heading to my car, so just keep an eye out to avoid any surprises as it's dark at night. Overall, a great spot with a prime location. I’d definitely recommend it!

The Eco casa Airbnb was perfect for our family. We traveled with our son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. We could easily get to and from the airport. We walked to restaurants an a Fresh Market grocery. The house was clean and well appointed. The shower and fluffy towels, and well furnished kitchen were much appreciated.

Nice loft in peaceful neighborhood and with an amazing view. Had all amenities we needed. Would definitely recommend.

This place is so Serene! The views of the mountain is absolutely stunning! The days were hot but the nights were cool! A family of scarlet macaws came and hung out in the mornings while all other wildlife visited through the day. The open concept to the outdoors is so amazing! I just loved this house and hated to leave. When we come back to Costa Rica this is where we will be staying!

I had a great stay in San José. The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. Check-in was smooth, and the host was very responsive and quick to resolve any issues that came up during my stay. It was a perfect base for exploring the city and surrounding areas. I’d definitely stay here again.

We (unfortunately) only stayed at this beautiful Airbnb for one night. Everything is really fantastic. It's a beautiful house. Very well maintained, an extremely great view. And everything is topped off by the cool Jacuzzi, which is on the terrace! Pre-heated for us – that was perfect. All in all, five-star deluxe. Great communication with the host –MELANY. Thank you so much for this great experience. We are in San Jose more often and will definitely take this little detour. Warm and welcoming best describes it. Thank you for everything and see you soon – not to forget – dog friend. With our three little dachshunds – a dream. Thank you. ❤️

My mom and I had a great time and a very nice place, a delicious climate, the house was cozy, Lorena was very nice and attentive, definitely a place to go back to.

Excellent location and flexible check-in time

I honestly can't say enough good things about my three month stay at Laura's San José condo. Laura and her brother, William, were wonderful throughout the whole stay, always helpful and responsive. THE CONDO: Looks just like the pictures and is very well furnished for long stays! They even had a pet bed and toys there for my pup! You'll spend lovely afternoons on the balcony watching the Pericos fly by. Condo has AC, but you hardly need it. My stay also came with weekly cleaning! THE COMMUNITY: Very welcoming. Everyone is extremely friendly. If you stay for awhile, try to get plugged into the community group chat. Avalon Country Club is a gated community with a lovely lake right behind the building and manicured gardens throughout. The elevated pool overlooks the San José valley. Right outside the gate are a vet and groomer, and a small corner store/grocery. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would rent this unit again.

Nice place. Worth the money

Eduardo is a great host and very attentive. The location is simply the best and the building comes with a beautiful pool gym , sauna and steam room which was very important for me. The location is simply the best you’re in the middle of escazu , and everything is in the area. Thank you Eduardo I hope to be back soon.

Ricardo’s place is great! San Jose downtown as well as the airport are very easy to reach from his place. Communication and check-in went very smoothly.

This is a wonderful, clean, spacious and beautifully presented condo. The view is stunning and peaceful. Kelly is a gracious, friendly and welcoming host who is always on hand for anything you need. We would definitely come back and completely recommend this peaceful place. There is everything you need for a complete and comfortable stay in San Jose. The property is also well served for takeaways and ubereats groceries, as well as having a number of tasty restaurants close by. The wifi is fantastic, fast and reliable. There is also large flat screens across the condo connected to netflix if you are looking for additional entertainment. We completely recommend!!!
