Stugan renoverades 2023, badrummet 2018. På promenadavstånd finns kiosk och mataffär samt lite längre upp i byn finns café, hotell och minigolf. 200 meter från ytterdörren ligger Byrviken, en utmärkt badplats. Inom 20 minuters bilfärd finns även Tegera Arena, Granbergets skidbacke och längdskidåkning.

Det är ca 5 km till Tällberg och 7 km till Leksand. Det finns plats att parkera bil intill härbret på gården.Dusch och toalett har separat ingång på nedervåningen. Städning ingår ej.

En stor altan vetter mot sjön, med sittplats under en pergola, och gästerna har eget förfogande över hela altanen. Möjlighet finns att låna roddbåt och flytvästar. Charming old house on a classical Dalarna farmstead. Quietly situated near lake Siljan. Guests have access to their own part of the garden. The house is 80 sqm, with two bedrooms, lounge and fully equipped kitchen. DEPARTURE CLEANING, SHEETS AND TOWELS INCLUDED IN PRICE. A frequent comment from our guests is that their visit was too short. We recommend minimum three nights - there is much to see and experience, for all ages, in the area.

Byn ligger längst med Siljan, med bil tar det 4 minuter till Leksand Sommarland, 8 minuter till centrala Leksand och lika nära till Tällberg.
