Shelley & Graham were amazing hosts, incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable of the local area. They made our stay in Paihia feel like home away from home, and the guest suite was more than we could have expected ! We will definitely be staying there next time we are in town !

We hit the jackpot with Michaela and Dans place, a great place to stay for a bit while visiting bay of islands. We loved our stay here. Good location. Amazing appartement and views and great communication all around. Would recommend!

Jenny is an Amazing Host ,very friendly very easy to engage with ,she made us feel like her house was ours, We arrived an hour before check in , but she allowed us in,the apartment was in spotless condition with excellent views and easy walk into town also had everything inside we needed ,we all felt very comfortable. I would highly recommend Jenny's apartment to anyone wanting somewhere to stay in Paihia for a Bay of Islands Escape.

Doves Bay was a wonderful place to unwind. Such a treat to wake up to the beautiful view. We loved having breakfast on the deck in the morning sun, watching the tuis and fantails flit through the garden. Even heard kiwis calling at night, and the stars on a clear night are incredible. There’s a lovely walk down to the beach. Ivan and Vivienne were lovely, thoughtful hosts and the place was well-equipped, superbly clean and very comfortable.

What a fabulous place to stay! A beautiful location overlooking the bay. We saw two orca in the bay on our first night, which was amazing. The accommodation is wonderful. Fabulous furnishings with beautiful sculptures and art on the walls. We arrived to find a selection of wines, chocolates, home-made biscuits and granola, as well as some wonderful ham, cheese, OJ and other useful fridge staples. Communication with Heather was great, with plenty of helpful information about the local area. Absolutely perfect - thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay in the Pacifica room! The suite was beautifully kept, peaceful and surrounded by nature. We had everything we needed and more including the gorgeous spa overlooking the ocean. Dave was super helpful and responsive. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Absolutely stunning Airbnb, one of if not the best we’ve ever stayed in (we’re doing a round the world trip so have stayed in a lot by now)! It was absolutely pristine, we felt like we were checking into a 5* hotel with the quality of the beds, linens, towels etc. It is genuinely nicer than the photos and more spacious, and it was so appreciated that Anita had some provisions and snacks like milk, chocolates, crisps and fruit there for us when we arrived. Anita is lovely and so friendly! She kindly greeted us at check in, showed us around and how everything works, and gave us some fantastic local recommendations which we did and thoroughly enjoyed, in particular the coastal trail to Paihia and getting the car ferry across the bay to go to Russell. The views over the bay, watching the boats come and go, are stunning. We didn’t use the BBQ that’s on the balcony but would have if we’d stayed longer, which I wish we had! Overall we couldn’t fault this place, and HIGHLY recommend staying

We booked this accomodation very last minute. the house has a very homey feel, very breezy, great view. We were a 2 min walk to Hihi Beach where we were able to watch beautiful sunsets and wet our feet on the beautiful sandy beach. Laura's instructions were fantastic, it made checkin and managing our stay so easy. Laura was very responsive to every message that we sent her. At night you do need to close all the windows and doors as there are sand flys that are attracted to the lights. You definitely need to play the Sequence game that is in the coffee table, went spent many hoirs of challenging competitive togetherness around this hybrid card/board game.

Gayleen’s house at Keri Keri has the most amazing scenic views and is a spacious, well set out house with every facility, equipment and extra toiletries, linen and kitchen consumables you could want. We had a large family gathering with lots of cooking and the kitchen was an absolute delight. The beds were very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there despite not the best weather.

Incredible spot overlooking the ocean and Cavalli Islands. House is really well laid out for a mixed age group with one bedroom and lounge area seperate from main living. Plenty of parking and room for the boat, fishing was excellent! Great stay for a week.

This is our second stay here, and we are drawn to this peaceful area not only for its serenity but also for its stunning views. Additionally, the house is impeccably clean. We also extended our stay by an extra day on short notice, and Debbie was instrumental in accommodating our request. This place is fantastic - we were 2 couples staying for 2 nights as part of a trip to Cape Reinga. It is definitely the only place of its kind in this area, and we loved having a super modern yet cosy base for our road trip. It is fully equipped to cook meals, do laundry and have an evening in, and the beds and living area are very comfortable. Lindsay was a very communicative and friendly host, and we found it very easy to find and access. There’s a store and a restaurant close by so you don’t feel too secluded, but still benefit from the privacy and peace of being on a private lot with plenty of nature around. Highly recommend this super cool, unique and comfortable stay for your next trip to Northland! Thank you Lindsay!

Absolutely beautiful spot right on the beach. House was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room for our 12 guests. Loved the bedroom above the garage as an extra space for kids to play, and also the easy access to the beach was perfect for the kids to play while we could watch them from the deck. Cool to see weka birds wandering around the area too!

One of the most unique airbnbs, with one of the best views in the world. Believe all the reviews! This Bach hidden away along the north coast of nz is stunningly breathtaking! 360degree views, islands, boats, sunsets, the calm Pacific Ocean, birds, dolphins, completely private and you’re own gorgeous beach! What more can you ask for really??? We were two but the bach comfortably fits more! And has everything you need! We will definitely keep coming back! What a rare find! Thank you so much for sharing this amazing property.

This is the ultimate beach retreat, right at the start of 90-mile beach! The view is unbelievable, the house is incredibly well-designed and maintained, and we could not have been happier with our stay. And Renèe was a fantastic host, even reaching out during our visit to ensure a big storm hadn't disrupted our visit. Excellent service!

A lovely home with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Come for the home stay for the view! A spectacular vista, from the Whiria Pa, across the harbour to the golden sand dunes. Also, a great selection of books to while away the hours 🙂 We had the generous bonus of using the down stairs spa as there were no guests. perfect!

The most serene beautiful location. Felt like a million miles from anywhere but best brekkie and coffee just steps from the door and a general store a couple of minutes away with everything you could need. Bed to die for, luxury linens and towels. Possibly the cleanest place EVER. thank you gavin, a perfect stay in a beautiful location.

For a winter break it really was perfect. Best spot ever. The best part....The people! Friendly, helpful. Kind. Every eatery was great. Op shop for fishing clothes too! Had great fishing with " Buckos" Dont miss it! Will return. Thankyou. BnM
