Cottage vacation rentals in Taillebourg

Traveling for a conference in Niort, we stayed 5 days in Fabien's Airbnb. A peaceful little haven where we were able to enjoy the pool and terrace in the evening. The accommodation is spacious and pleasant 20 minutes from Niort. Fabien is very welcoming and responsive to make the stay as pleasant as possible. I would highly recommend it

Great value, the location is great (close to a supermarket 5 min drive, close to Royan and Saintes), this house will take you away from the city. Beware of having 1 bathroom for 10 people (but we know this from the reservation) Otherwise, really in line with expectations, I recommend it!

Everything is relaxing. The old stone mill and its green environment for the eyes, the sound of the river and the birdsong for the ears, the smell of trees in bloom and cut grass. The mill is a 5-10 minute walk to all the amenities that the small medieval town of Pons offers. Louise and Michael welcomed us warmly, caring about our well-being in their home while preserving our privacy. We had a great weekend at Moulin Chaillou, we can only recommend it. We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

We had a pleasant stay with the family in Dominique's house which is peaceful, comfortable and warm. We visited Île d'Aix from Fouras and made a stopover in the Poitevin marsh. We recommend this place to stay.

It was a really nice week in the gîte rosiers. We enjoyed very much the nice surroundings and fun activities nearby. Super friendly hosts, they were always ready for us for help, fun tips and a chat here and there. It is definitely recommended!!

We have all enjoyed staying in your lovely house and we are already planning a return visit.

What an amazing place! Lots of space, lush greenery and very well-maintained park. Beautiful stone buildings, authentic, Idyllic calm, near a superb mill accompanied by animals (birds, chevres, rabbits, sheep, guinea pig...) and activities (kayaking, trampoline, pétanque, foosball, billiards, table tennis, books...) . We had a wonderful stay, in the heart of nature. The owners are very discreet and attentive to the slightest need, very kind. The accommodation is very well equipped, spacious, clean and comfortable. Thanks again for a fabulous family stay that we will not forget!

Amanda and Robin were great hosts and the gite was gorgeous. We loved the quiet surroundings and a quick drive to a couple of great restaurants. Our 2 little dogs were made very welcome and enjoyed the secure garden. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting. Lovely stay, especially being invited to the tango evening. It's really a charming place. As if you were Peau d'âne in her little cottage. Much better equipped, of course. It's also Disneyland for dogs. Valentin and Pauline are charming which doesn't hurt. We'll be happy to go back!

I would recommend Stéphanie's home, it's cozy and the cleanliness is impeccable. It has everything you need and the environment is quiet. Stéphanie and her daughter told me well and were very responsive and friendly. Ideal for a weekend away as a couple and in addition, pets are allowed 😊

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay

If you prefer, a real quality home, spotless in its entirety , quiet , beautiful very large garden, you will need a car , but if you want This type of property that’s just not the norm, it’s got everything you need , Isabelle is on the ball if needed, But things really are home from home , Sadly the birds beat us to the cherries, ! A nice quiet place to enjoy. Nice swimming pool, great seating in the shade and a huge garden for some small activities. There is not much to do in the village itself, but Virginia does give advice. We went to Angouleme. Furthermore, especially in the place, enjoy the swimming pool, the garden and the relaxed location. The accommodation is nice and spacious and equipped with every comfort, and the dogs on the property are sweet and quiet.

Delightful, cosy cottage in beautiful surroundings. Surrounded by wonderful countryside and within easy reach of Saintes which has all you might need. The coast is an easy drive with some great resorts.

We spent 2 weeks there with our 2 young children and it was great! we loved it and keep this place in mind 😉

This is a totally beautiful gitte that is even better in the flesh than the photo's. A super tasteful space with everything you need. Nice and private with a delightful courtyard for eating or sitting in the sun. Unfortunately it was too cold to swim but the pool area was so pretty. It was so relaxing.. Its very near for many coastal places to visit, Royan being our favourite with its amazing architecture. The host Pierric was very charming and helpful and made us feel at home. I would definitely recommend this beautiful place and hopefully will return at some point.

A huge thank you to Denise and Adrian, they are great hosts! Listening and really available! Our extended weekend went extremely well, we were even surprised , it's even BETTER than on paper! A superb setting , a very clean and very well-equipped accommodation! The activities on offer are perfect for a good holiday whether for families or groups of friends.
