The perfect place to disconnect. Super quiet village, lots os places to explore and the perfect place to leave the worries outside. The hosts are amazing. Quick responses, great flexibility and the perfect"distance" during all the stay. If you need them they are there if not they leave you to enjoy the stay. Melanie, thank you for the Christmas Tree and the gifts. The house is spacious, well equiped and everthing you need to have the right temperature inside, even when thwy were 3° outside. And even for those that cannot disconnect, great wifi and tv service!

Hello Mr. Pedro! We wanted to thank you for all the hospitality during our stay at your accommodation in Póvoa Dão. We were delighted with the space – it's quiet, well-maintained and the pool was a real luxury in these hot days! It was wonderful to be able to take our dog Escobar, who also loved the environment and the outdoor space. It is increasingly rare to find such beautiful places that accept animals so naturally. That made all the difference! We really felt at home and very welcome and relaxed. We will recommend it and will definitely be back at the next opportunity! Many thanks for everything! In general everything was fine and as described. Bathroom was clean and kitchen was okayish equipped. If you are more than two people it is a bit small and you should definitely bring towles as well as tea towles/dish towles. In general maybe more than two big and one small towl would be great. Whirlpool was super nice with the view. It was quiet and peaceful. Perfect place to relax. If you are afraid of dogs, let João know. We love dogs so it was a paradise for us. All all in all it is a nice place to stay!

We had an excellent two night stay in the beautiful house. There was plenty of room for our kids to run around and they greatly enjoyed the pool. The host is very responsive, have lots of local recommendations and even provided breakfast in the morning! If you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay not far from surrounding towns then this is it.

Thank you for this absolutely wonderful stay in this little paradise. We found here a haven of tranquility, ideal for resting and recharging. The house is beautiful (decorated with great taste and attention to detail), extremely clean and well-kept, with a cozy atmosphere that made us feel truly at home from the first moment. It is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. It was also a privilege to be able to share this space with our dog, who loved every corner of the (huge) property and the freedom that the space provides. It's rare to find a place so special, that welcomes our four-legged companion so well and makes us feel at home at the same time. More than just a stay, this experience was a precious break from the routine. We leave here lighter and with the certainty that we want to return. Thank you for everything. The house is perfect for enjoying the charms of the village and the region. Extremely clean, well equipped and lovingly decorated with traditional textiles from the loom. The sympathy and care of D. Maria who received us with warm sweet rice and led us through a journey through time, on a visit to the looms is unsurpassed. A home to come back and recommend without hesitation.

The place is charming, beautifully designed, and enjoys wonderful outdoor spaces that provide great activities for children. We had a wonderful time!

José and family were so friendly and helpful. We loved the house it is so peaceful, ideal to recharge! The views and beautiful. The kids loved the swimming pool and the river beaches. It's a great environment to bring kids, they ve had so much fun! We can't wait to come back and highly recommend José s house. What a lovely family xxx
