Pet-Friendly Ehrhardt Home w/ Private Pond & Yard!

MelissaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We absolutely loved staying at the Pond House. My Husband and son fished the entire time and caught fish everyday. I enjoyed watching from the patio as well as the large sun porch where we spent most of our time. It’s very cozy and SUPER clean and well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. The host were very friendly and even left us some farm fresh eggs that we enjoyed for three days. There were games, books and yard features that I found thoughtful and entertaining. 😊 I also enjoyed seeing deer every morning from across the pond. We had a great, relaxing time and we will be back for sure.

“Tiny house” nestled on private farm

JenRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This place was magical! My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights at Nick and Nichole’s tiny home. It was very clean, the bed was really comfy and we had basic comforts like water, coffee and a small fridge. The gas fire pit on the deck was great to roast marshmallows over and make smores :) . It is the country, so expect bugs and ants. Don’t leave food unsealed and bring your bug spray. The bath house is in the other side of the barn, but it’s not too bad. It was a great excuse to see the animals and pet them again on the way. The bathroom was very cool and clean! Towels are provided in the house, so don’t forget them on the way. Ok, back the animals! Eugene, the baby goat, is adorable! Moe, the pig, is a treasure and we even got to see his babies and their mom! There were ducks, Rupert the cat, and we even saw the donkeys one night! Seeing the horses graze from bed, overlooking the pond with the moss hanging from the trees is just divine. We’ll be back in the winter :) SC heat is no joke

Cabin #2

Kent was a wonderful host. I met his wife, who offered to blow up the waterslide for my niece to use. The place was very comfortable and welcoming. Kent gave great local restaurant recommendations. I would definitely stay again!

Sylvan Cabin on 73 Acres - Pond On-Site!

Great host, nice property. If you are looking for luxury and perfection it’s not the place for you. However, if you are looking for peace and quiet and away from technology as I was, it’s the perfect place. Time slows down when you are in the country like that. Enjoy listening to the birds and animals. Take a walk to the pond and pet the animals on your way. Take your shoes off and walk through the creek to get to the pond. Soak up the fresh air. It’s worth it. The host was super helpful and just a wonderful person to talk to. I was there for the Masters and although it was roughly an hour away, it was worth the peaceful drive. I am surrounded with tech all day / everyday and was nice to just be able to relax and know I don’t need to check anything.
