Fantastic stay at Ian’s place in Amble, amazing location for everything in Northumberland as well as plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in Amble. Super property for couple or families as well we’re with lots of games and children’s books as well as all the amenities you could need for a long or short stay. Would happily stay here again if we were holidaying in the north east of England again.

Immaculate property. Lovely big kitchen/ dining / living area, with an additional living room- well equipped with beautiful old books and lots of games. Gorgeous garden, very private, and amazing views. Extremely comfortable beds and lovely linen and towels. Very clean and tidy. Everything we wanted and more. We were a group of 8 ladies on a walking / yoga weekend- and we loved everything. We can’t wait to return.

Loved this place and would go back, we were very well looked after and the small touches were great like the chocolates and milk in the fridge. The BBQ area outside was great. It’s right next to a train line but it didn’t really bother us. Dogs are welcome and the only slight improvement would be to make the garden secure as dogs can get out onto the road so we had to keep them on leads. Even a temporary security would be most welcome as it makes for a more relaxing stay. Jenn

A very comfortable apartment in a brilliant setting, ideal for a week away. The view from the bedroom was amazing. Loads of walks nearby, Cragside a couple of miles away. Andy and Lyd were friendly and helpful and the provision of bird seed to feed our feathered visitors was a very nice touch. We'd definitely stay here again.

We had such a lovely stay with our 2 young kids 😊 they loved the pirate themed bedroom and slept so well on the bunkbeds. The beach is only a 2 minute walk away and was so quiet and clean. There's a lovely cafe on the beach too that does great food. Our kids were quite happy just going to the beach I'm Newbiggin each day but it's also well located to get to Tynemouth, Druridge bay, Alnwick etc. We loved it

Great stay at Mollys Cottage , This place is fantastic and as described on listing. Smooth check in, owner is there to greet you and show you round and give you any information you require, Lovely touches like cake left for you on arrival and compimentry drink in local pub . The whole place is idyllic from the log fire to garden and fantastic hot tub , i would recommend this place to anyone you wont be disapointed ,we will be back as theres plenty to explore in this region and weve found a great base to stay.

The location is beautiful with views down the coast to Lindisfarne from the main bedroom, and a very quiet beach just 10 mins walk. The pictures don't do the place justice - the rooms are huge and well appointed. A great location for a few days enjoying the beauty of North Northumberland

Great stay, Kate went above and beyond what we expected as some milk, teas and coffee left for us and the brownies were amazing. Would recommend to anyone looking in this area and will definitely be coming back at some point in the future.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. A really lovely little bothy in a beautiful spot. Perfect for a weekend break. We were breaking a journey north but it would be ideal for a few days walking or cycling. Thanks so much Marcelle and Alan and the dogs!

Wonderful hosts; friendly and responsive. Great location that was close to the main shops, pubs and restaurants in Hexam as well as for visiting Hadrian's Wall. Extremely well equipped and clean. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The place is beautifully decorated with so much character—stylish, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The setting was perfect too—peaceful, charming, and a great base for exploring the area. What really made the experience stand out were the hosts. This was our third stay at this lovely flat and we can only reiterate the reviews we posted previously... Great flat in a perfect location for touring Northumberland as well as looking around Alnwick. Clean and nicely furnished. Easy parking with the parking disc. Communication excellent. I had a query on arrival which was very quickly resolved by a very helpful phone call. If you want to self cater there is a Morrisons less than 5 mins walk away. Otherwise there are lots of restaurants and takeaways. This flat is highly recommended. We will return!!
