Beautiful location and place and wonderful hosts! Our kids loved saying hi to the horses after coming home from our adventures.

Such a wonderful and peaceful place to relax after exploring waterfalls, black sand beaches and the countryside of Iceland. Pay attention to her recommendations on how to get to her place. Apple maps and google maps take you to the wrong place entirely. GPS coordinates worked the best - map me didn’t work for us. Use the link for the coordinates and then look for the Midholl sign for her driveway. The turn off is very near one of the horse farms she mentions in her recs. Her animals are all so sweet and she is a lovely lovely host!!

Nous avons aimé ce logis. Il est particulièrement grand, avec 3 chambres, une cuisine, un salon et une salle à manger. La chambre de bain a été rénovée. Le look est vraiment différent du reste qui est un peu vieillot, mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé. Lit confortable. Dans la cuisine, il y a tout ce que l’on a besoin pour faire à manger. Bien situé à Selfoss.

This location is as small as it is described however the sauna, the lake and the location make it worth it. Our host was quick to respond to our questions and when we asked for horseback riding recommendations, he provided us with a place near by and his honest assessment of it. We really appreciated him doing that.

Staying in Dora and Nicolas' cozy flat was everything we could have wished. They were friendly, welcoming, helpful and generous. The flat was clean, well-supplied and super comfortable. It was a perfect location for walking to the University for our conference (7 minutes) and into the City Centre (+/- 20 mins) for events, museums and dining. (Just up the street are KaffiVest, a wonderful little cafe/restaurant, a small supermarket, and the local outdoor, heated swimming pool - an Iceland tradition!) We wholeheartedly recommend, and would gladly stay there again!

Wir waren eine Woche bei Haukur in der Hütte und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Er war immer gut erreichbar und hat uns bei allem geholfen. Das Grundstück ist wunderschön und super um abzuschalten. Es ist sehr ruhig und friedlich. Es sah zu jeder Wetterlage traumhaft aus. Die Hütte ist gut ausgestattet. Man ist von Selfoss ca. 20 min mit dem Auto entfernt und dort gibt es alles was man braucht. Es hat uns sehr gefreut dich kennenzulernen, hoffentlich bis zum nächsten Mal!

Es waren unsere ersten drei Tage auf Island. Wir waren sehr unsicher - Flugverspätung, Mietauto, alles war für uns neu. Aber die Hütte haben wir nach Haralds Anweisungen problemlos sofort gefunden. Alles sah genauso wie auf den Fotos aus. Die Hütte ist klein, aber äußerst gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Küche ist sehr praktisch eingerichtet, mit allem was man braucht, es ist genug Besteck da, genug Gläser, Teller, Töpfe, ein Minibackofen... Die Matrazzen sind einfach ein Traum, weder zu hart noch zu weich, wir haben sehr but geschlafen. Und es ist auch sofort warm, wenn man die Heizung andreht. W-Lan hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Es war wie im Paradies. Und die Lage: besser gehts nicht. Ca. 30 Min zum Gullfoss und Geysir, und man ist auch sehr schnell bei Selfoss und im Süden. In der Nähe git es auch einige Thermalbäder. - Alles in allem war es ein perfekter Start in unseren Urlaub, es tut uns leid, dass wir so schnell abgereist sind. Danke.

Ubytování se nám moc líbilo. Bylo krásné a čisté. V budově je i hromada míst, kde si můžete zahrát různé hry jako ping pong, kulečník atd. což se nám moc líbilo. Cítili jsme se tu jako doma a jsme moc rádi, že jsme se tu mohli ubytovat. Moc děkujeme 😇

We had a lovely stay with beautiful Icelanding horses as neighbors. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Even though we forgot to send a reminder 24 hours in advance. They still delivered a crib after hours. This made our stay really comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

이곳은 우리의 기대보다 훨씬 환상적인 곳이었습니다! 객실이 있는 파트별로 다른 공용 거실과 부엌, 욕실이 존재합니다. 우리는 아주 프라이빗하게 사용할 수 있었습니다. 넓고 유쾌한 오락 공간, 오로라를 볼 수 있는 야외 테라스, 안마 의자, 쾌적한 주방 시설. 아주 따뜻한 난방시설도 구비하고 있습니다. 이곳은 모든 여행자에게 최고의 추억이 될 곳입니다. 아이슬란드에 온다면 이곳에 꼭 다시 돌아올 것입니다! 모든 것에 감사드립니다!

Przyjechałam późno w nocy i nie było to problemem. Wygodne łóżko. W pokoju było bardzo gorąco i duszno w nocy, otworzyłam okno, ale dało się otworzyć tylko mały kawałek. Kuchnia bardzo dobrze wyposażona, poza garnkami do gotowania jest też mnóstwo przypraw.

This accommodation is great, clean and in very good location. My view was amazing, i saw even the church from my window🤗 I am recommending this guesthouse.

Ein wirklich liebevoll eingerichtetes Hostel, man merkt, dass hier Herzblut drin steckt! Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist super, um die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden.

I cannot sing enough praises about this property and the hosts. They were a lifesaver! Unfortunately, I lost my passport the night before my scheduled departure, and I had to find a place to stay while I navigated the emergency passport process. Hrabby went above and beyond to support my efforts, make calls, do research, schedule rides, and even posted an urgent message on a local site about my lost passport. The property was beautiful, fully stocked and pristine, but the level of compassion from Hrabby and Mikki is unmatched. Their concern and support will always mean the world to me, and I am so grateful to have found them in my time of need. Lovely property, beautiful couple!

Victor’s place was truly amazing! Well equipped and stock up. Had no issues with hygiene and vanity supplies ! Victor really prepared his place well for guest ! Perfect for 2 pax who wish to chill out. Victor also responded fast with booking request. One of the only few hosts that accommodate to last minute booking. Overall totally happy with his listing !

not easy to find reasonable accommodations in Iceland, but this place was good on all counts.

This place was perfect for our trip! It was clean & cozy and had everything we needed. The location was quiet and close to downtown. Host was responsive and gave great tips for activities. We especially loved comfy bed. Would absolutely stay again—highly recommend!

Sandra’s respite in Reykjavik was the perfect spot for our first trip to Iceland. The location is easily walkable or scooter-able into downtown Reykjavik and we never had a problem finding a parking spot. The street itself is quiet and calm. The place looks just like the photos and had everything we needed. The bed was cozy and there was plenty of room in the closet/drawers for our belongings. We would recommend this place to anyone looking to visit😊
