Valdís place is just perfect - cozy, feels like home and with everything you need. Valdís was very helpful and nice. From the flat its a short walk to a nice hiking area and its also a short ride into the city (bus or car). We loved to stay here and when we visit iceland again we will check if this place is possible to rent 🙂

This place is out of the heart of downtown Reykjavik but if you have rented a car it is worth the money for the space. The listing is spot on, rooms are sizeable, the kitchen and living room is open concept and large. We felt at home here and our host was responsive with some of our questions. I would recommend staying here on vacation.

El departamento es muy cómodo y con check in self service muy amigable. Está muy bien ubicado y cerca de locales comerciales. En nuestra estadía no nos faltó nada, realmente está muy bien equipado y es sencillo moverse si cuentas con un automóvil. Thelma estuvo siempre muy atenta, de hecho hemos tenido un pequeño inconveniente con el wifi y nos ayudó a resolverlo en muy poco tiempo mostrándose muy servicial. Nos encantó y la recomendamos!

Very well equipped even because we think the host lives there :) Thanks for sharing your home. Located across a mall which helps with anything you might need and there is lots of parking available. Only 15/20min by car from the Reykjavik centre.

We had a lovely stay, really modern apartment with nice surroundings! If you’re wanting to go into Reykjavík frequently I’d recommend having a rental car just as the flat is a little bit further out, but the drive is straightforward into town. There’s a good spot to try and see the Northern lights nearby which is a plus of being further out. Overall we really enjoyed our stay :)

Great place to stay! Cozy apartment and plenty of space!

We enjoyed our stay at Eydis’s place. It is a beautifully decorated, very large apartment. A great value for the cost based on our other accommodations in Iceland. Eydis was very responsive as a host and helped answer questions we had on arrival. The apartment itself was in a nice complex, and very quiet which is a top priority for us. We typically avoid first floor apartments for fear of noise from neighbors above, but we never heard anything from nearby units our entire stay. Thanks Eydis for hosting us!

Fantastic unit. Fantastic location, on the edge of downtown and close to the shore. Fantastic host, who was very responsive and proactive—he contacted us one evening to alert us that the Northern Lights might be visible from the City. If you’re looking for a place in Reykjavik, consider this option!

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. Làrey was extremely helpful with everything, always providing quick responses. The kitchen is absolutely amazing and has everything you could possibly need—much more than expected. I truly enjoyed cooking there; it felt just like being in my own kitchen. This is the best house we have rented for our holidays. The beds are very comfortable. I was fall in love with Christmas decoration. Big thank you for that🥰 Everything was just perfect!I highly recommend it to everyone!

this was a great place! close to many things. we used it as a base for day trips around Iceland. super clean, quiet, and had all the amenities you need. alex was always quick to respond to all our questions and was so helpful. definitely recommend this spot.

Casa stupenda, grande e accogliente. Posizione ottima, c'è la fermata del bus molto vicina che va diretto al centro di Reykjavík e un supermercato a 10 min a piedi. Il quartiere è molto bello e tranquillo, anche per fare una passeggiata. La host è gentilissima e risponde a tutte le domande richieste in modo veloce e preciso. Ci ritornerei molto volentieri.

Styrmir’s house was beautiful and was everything we needed on our trip. It was conveniently located by several grocery stores, not to mention being very close to the city center. It also had very easy access to the major highways out of Reykjavik, making day trips extremely easy. Styrmir was one of the most helpful and communicative hosts. He was a font of incredibly helpful information and continuously checked in to see how we were doing. The cats in the house were one of the best parts. They were super cute, extremely friendly, and made the stay that much more enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone and would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Roberts place. The apartment is clean, warm, and super comfortable, and in a great location. You can easily walk to downtown, and it is close by to a couple of supermarkets, and one of the bus stops for airport transfers and excursions. I highly recommend the apparentment for couples looking to explore Reykjavik - thanks for a great stay!

It’s cozy apartment! The rooms are clean and the location is good. If you’re looking for a place near the city centre, it is a good option.

I cannot recommend this condo enough. This was a great place right outside of Reykjavík that allowed us to quickly go into town and provided a great jumping off point for our tours. The condo was welcoming and very clean - it is exactly how the photos and description describe it. The amenities were great, and the laundry was wonderful after long days. Also, Hannes was a phenomenal host. He allowed us to check in early because of an early morning flight, and was extremely responsive to any question I had. I cannot wait to return and rebook this condo. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you Hannes for your hospitality!

Just had a brilliant stay at Óli's apartment, highly recommend it for anyone visiting Reykjavik! The location is great, a peaceful neighbourhood with an easy 15 minute walk into Downtown areas, the harbour and to the bus station for tours/the airport bus. There's also a great little supermarket just on the corner which was super handy for picking bits up. The apartment itself is really cool, a really unique architectural style, and full of character (we loved the lego 'street' on the shelf!). It really feels like a home from home, perfect to relax in after a long day exploring. The kitchen is really well stocked too, which is great for preparing meals some nights to help the budget. Óli was a great host, really proactive with information and recommendations for things to do/restaurants, and always super helpful and quick to respond with questions we had. Would definitely book here again if we go back to Reykjavik!

Amazing amenities and location (quiet and residential but close to center!), and very good communication from Konni, even while he was traveling overseas. The neighborhood and neighbors are also very nice. Altogether great experience when traveling with friends or family!

Erna Maria’s place was the perfect place for a solo traveler passing through. They were super proactive, responsive, and caring. Would stay here again any time.

Séjour impeccable chez Agust. L’emplacement de la ville de Kópavogur, aux portes de Reykjavik et au bord de la voie rapide pour aller visiter le reste du pays, était parfait. Le studio loué par Agust est d’une grande qualité, tant en termes d’équipements que de propreté. Exactement ce qu’on peut attendre pour un voyage de ce genre. Agust a toujours voulu s’assurer par messages que tout allait bien pour moi, il m’a conseillé sur la météo et il m’a même été d’un grand secours lorsque je me suis retrouvé bloqué dehors en pyjama parce que j’avais laissé la clé à l’intérieur. Heureusement, il était présent dans sa maison juste à côté et a un double des clés. 😅 Une mention pour la carte de piscine qu’il offre à ses hôtes. Le complexe aquatique et sportif (deux salles) est à deux pas de l’appartement, j’en ai profité deux fois et j’étais ravi.
