Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Susquehanna River

Both owners were very helpful and accommodating of our crazy schedule with air show, friends meeting us there, and helpful with them as well.

Place was very beautiful and was such a nice area, definitely recommend driving over to Columbia during your stay. Place was a bit more renovated than the pictures which was a nice surprise.

We had a great stay at Connie’s! She was always responsive and so helpful! Connie greeted us on our arrival and pointed out two deer grazing under the trees of the spacious yard. There with my husband and teenage boys, there was plenty of room for us in the upstairs rooms. The kitchenette was perfect for us as we were there visiting family. The location is convenient to many restaurants and shopping areas. It is right near Haverford College which is a beautiful place to walk with many trails. Would stay again for sure! My wife and I stayed overnight here for our anniversary. The bed was super comfortable and it was definitely a perk waking up right above the coffee shop! You do share a bathroom with another room but that never seemed to be a problem. Tammy was always quick to respond. Would stay here again.

Stephani was an absolutely amazing host! So friendly and inviting, very helpful with recommendations and directions, great time chatting and hearing some stories! Easy check in and out. The property is absolutely gorgeous and there was plenty trails to explore, a beautiful patio to relax on and a very large pond to fish in. Extremely close to all things Gettysburg. The rooms were clean and bright and very comfy. 10/10 would recommend and will most definitely be returning!

Rosemary was very nice, and the space was clean and had a lovely view. It's hard to tell from photos, but it's a large, bright studio apartment, with center stairs going up to the guest-dedicated full bath, which is directly off the host's kitchen. The bedroom area is not separate from the rest of the living space, however, if you were hoping for a dedicated bedroom.

Absolutely wonderful on all fronts! 10 out of 10 would recommend to others and will happily stay here again!

Great stay! Leam was informative and kind. Breakfast was great, dogs are cute. Property is rustic but isn’t that the point? :) the room itself was clean, comfortable, and just what we needed.

Our stay with Troy was delightful! He is an exemplary host & made us feel right at home. The setting is lovely, the room was so comfortable and the breakfast was amazing! We were only passing through on this trip but will definitely make Troy’s home a destination trip soon. There is so much to see in the area & we can’t wait for another Scandinavian breakfast!

The whole experience was surreal: a beautiful country mansion set among farmland (alpaca, sheep emu!), yet within minutes of shopping and restaurants Absolutely beautiful suite in the true tradition of a bnb. Highly recommended

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Eisenhower suite. The artwork and period pieces were fascinating to look at and contributed to our authentic Gettysburg experience. Breakfast was great…check in and out was easy and overall the air bnb was a joy to stay at

Location was great… near stores & some restaurants. Most of it was private & quiet… my room (201) had a spacious en suite bathroom and peaceful green views. Had coffee & snacks daily downstairs ( nice Keurig machine!). Overall, met & exceeded expectations.

My husband and I came up from Yonkers, NY for Memorial Day weekend. We booked Eleanor's place and could not be more pleased with our decision. The guest suite was exactly as pictured. A nice quiet respite from the day's activities. Eleanor was such a wonderful and friendly host. She made us feel right at "home" from the minute we walked through the door. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the amazingly delicious breakfast Eleanor served us each morning. Eleanor's place was beyond wonderful and if I'm ever in the area there's nowhere else I'd rather stay.

My wife and I stayed at Jes' place for three nights. The house is is gorgeous, with the rooms impeccably decorated and furnished. All furnishings supported the heritage of this magnificent historical mansion. I had reserved the smaller room for our stay, but Jes was very kind to upgrade us to Room 2, a very large, well-decorated room with a beautiful and very comfortable king size bed. The bathroom is very large with two separate sinks and a large shower (and separate bath tub). We took advantage of the downstairs rooms, where there are comfortable chairs for reading or just relaxing. There are beverages available to have while relaxing. I highly recommend Jes' place if you're looking to stay in the Trumansburg/Ithaca/Cayuga Lake area. You will feel very at-home and not disappointed. Make your reservation early to try to get Room 2!

Kathy was incredibly flexible and responsive as our travel plans changed a little bit! We are grateful for that and her welcoming space during our daughter's college graduation weekend!

My stay in the aquarium suite was wonderful. Very clean and comfortable bed. The room has central A/C and a very large private bathroom inside the suite. There is a coffee maker in the room with supplies right there including shampoo and soap. Dylan has a snack bar in the hall right outside the room in the hallway. He also had some breakfast bars, snacks, and indivdual juices in the fridge. He has other bedrooms for rent in the house, so ask him if you need other rooms. The outside gronds are wonderful. His eclectic style and artwork is seen throughout the many gardens and pool area. You can tell Dylan puts many ground-keeper hours in his place to make it beautiful without looking over groomed. It should be noted for anyone with mobility issues, that the outside areas are a bit uneven for walking around so you do need to be careful walking, Yet I really enjoyed that style of grounds. It makes for many Secret garden spots. Loved it.

I can’t sing Dolma’s praises enough! She was such a gracious host, extremely accommodating, and responded quickly to any questions I had. Dolma made my first Airbnb experience really great! I can’t thank her enough!

We had a group staying for a month which was something he was not used to, but Steve was very accommodating. It was an amazing place to stay and is close to many restaurants, grocery stores, a gym (which was very accommodating by offering a one-month membership), and it was easy to get around the area. It is a phenomenal house, and the cat was great company greeting us when we came home or got up. It was like a home away from home having everything we needed including a washer and dryer. I would highly recommend this property and would absolutely look forward to staying there again.

Madeline and Kenn are super hosts for a reason! We loved our stay in the Carriage House! The pictures just don’t do it justice. The space is way bigger than we expected in person. If you stay in Ithaca, you must stay here. Super cosy, friendly staff (including Olive the pup!), close to the Commons Downtown, and the hosts are always willing to help with local recommendations. P.S. don’t miss out on Madeline’s brunch each morning, it’s delicious and made our trip! :)

We frequent Warick, NY often. The Warwick Inn was a delightful stay. The apartment style B & B included a large modern bathroom with a shower, laundry facilities, a kitchen with a variety of appliances, a quaint kitchen area, a small living room and a large bedroom. It is above a lovely restaurant with outdoor dining and a modern bar area. We could not hear the guests below. It was a perfect location and a perfect stay. It is located in the heart of Warwick, NY and close to several of the wineries. There are several restaurants and shopping within walking distance. It is truly a little hidden gem. Thanks to Gabriella, our host, she was able to secure a weekend for us in the country - last minute. Roseann Affinito

The Inn rooms are clean and spacious with well-appointed bathrooms. The grounds are pretty and relaxing, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. A great place to stay for Bethel Woods concerts, as it's roughly 20 minutes away. We missed the fire pit because we were at a concert but would love to join next time. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We give this 5 stars across the board!
