Lovely apartment in Nykøbing F

DavidRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The accommodation at Else and Kenneth’s apartment was as outstanding as their welcome. I was made to feel very much at home, and had a highly enjoyable and memorable stay there. My room was very spacious and clean, characterful yet free of clutter, and I could happily have relaxed there reading for hours. (There was a TV with chrome cast but I didn’t use it.) I was able to use communal areas of the apartment, including the well equipped kitchen, and felt very comfortable doing so. Else and Kenneth’s hospitality included watching ice hockey and football matches together (Kenneth even managed to enable me to watch my team’s final game of the season on their TV!) and being invited to enjoy some of Else’s delicious cooking. A highlight of my stay was my visit to Fuglsang Kunstmuseum, a very special municipal art gallery, easily reached by bus from Nykøbing. I’m so glad I stayed there for 5 nights, and could happily have stayed longer.

This stop was ideal for us in transit. The room is small but neat and nicely decorated. The private bathroom is also very clean. Kristine and Andreas responded super smoothly and were very flexible. Recommended!

Tranquil country house

If Snow White were Danish, this is where she’d live. Annabelle’s summer house is magical – the garden is straight out of a fairytale, with two ponds (one full of koi!), an orangery, and peaceful spots to sit everywhere. The location is incredible: quiet, beautiful, immersed in nature, and unbelievably close to the Safari Park. Inside was spacious and cozy, with toys downstairs, comfy rooms upstairs, and thoughtful touches. The layout was perfect for families – baby gates, an adorable kids’ room, desks for working, and even a huge chest freezer in the shed. The shower was great, and the house had everything we needed and more. Annabelle was an amazing host – so thoughtful, kind, generous, and helpful. Even as a first-time host, she clearly cares and does this for all the right reasons. We felt incredibly welcome and didn’t want to leave. A perfect mix of charm, comfort, and nature – we’d come back in a heartbeat.
