Absolutely positive note for the host and his family, who are committed to offering us all their help for any need or questions about the best activities to do in the area. The house itself fully respected what its description here on the platform presented, not at all taken for granted according to my past experiences. The village where the property is located is very quiet, ideal as a base to rest after doing physical activities in the surroundings like us (trekking, snow sports, evening explorations of nearby towns like Scanno). Overall, we were very satisfied with the entire experience, so we feel we can recommend it with full marks 🙂

Really impeccable apartment. Very well stocked and beautifully maintained. Equipped with everything and very clean. Gabriele and his wife are two very kind and wonderful people for their availability and attention. One of my best AirBNB experiences, I slept really well in this lovely apartment. The exterior of the building was quaint and had character but the insides were modern, recently renovated and tastefully decorated. Fontecchio is a small but really charming little village and a great base to explore this corner of Abruzzo. The only thing is that public transport is extremely limited in this kind of rural area so you will have to rent a car if you are thinking of staying in Fontecchio. But otherwise, I rarely give out such great reviews on AirBNB - this is definitely an excellent choice, I truly recommend this place based on my great experience. Every time we encountered a minor issue, Fabrizio and Todd looked into it and took care of it at once, you can't ask for more. Thanks so much for a great holiday.

Beautiful and very clean chalet in the very quiet village of Roccacinquemiglia. An oasis for the mind and soul. Waking up to the chirping of birds and immersed in nature is priceless. Convenient location to get anywhere in a few minutes by car. Alessandro is very available and ready to meet every request. Highly recommended!

This was a magical experience. I cannot imagine a kinder and more helpful host than Kevin, and I can’t imagine a more magical location. Great advice on things to do in the area and incredibly helpful in terms of getting us oriented and “plugged in” in Capestrano.

Our experience at this property was extremely positive; Marcello's welcome was undoubtedly perfect; nice, polite and very clear in the directions. The cleanliness of the apartment is perfect; very clean bathroom, bed, sheets and wardrobe as well, and this is not a given, as we have unfortunately been able to ascertain in other facilities. It's like visiting grandma's house. Everything is well maintained and has the charm of a cozy, small apartment from the 1960s with appropriate furnishings. Alessio is very friendly and helpful. He picked me up from the train station despite a considerable delay of my train and helped with the luggage. Because I arrived so late, I couldn't go shopping for breakfast. But that was no problem, because there were juices and yogurt in the refrigerator. In addition, milk, small cakes and coffee and on the table was a fresh bouquet of flowers. So you really feel welcome and the apartment is not a sterile hotel room, but a real home with soul. Glad to come back!

Nice solution in the center, very convenient to the main square to park the car, also just a 5-minute walk to a super efficient and economical multi-storey parking lot, nice environment, very good bathroom and kitchen solution, a bit spartan the bed solution (being a studio you have to settle for a sofa bed) but overall more than valid as a general solution for a few days of stay in the area. Definitely recommended.

It was an extremely pleasant stay. Atessa is a gem and the apartment is in a central but sheltered position, and is soundproofed from the lively Piazza Garibaldi adjacent. The supermarket is a stone's throw away and for us who came to visit relatives, getting around was very convenient. Anna Pia welcomed us with great care and kindness, making us feel at home. The recently renovated apartment is very nice and tastefully furnished, it has all the comforts combined with the memory of its ancient structure. Particularly appreciated are the shutters that offer complete darkness at night, the independent heating/air conditioning that was valuable to ensure a comfortable environment for my elderly father; the towel warmers in the bathroom and the terrace that is a gem overlooking the church of San Rocco and the square. We have found the perfect base for our next trips to Atessa.

What a great place to stay, Zita and Hugh where wonderful hosts. We were met and shown the place along with some history. We've been to this area about 9 time since 2011 and travelled to Capestrano many times but this was the first time we stayed in Capestrano. We use to only go to one restaurant in the town but now staying here we ended up going to four, all good. The location is really good for day trips to Sulmona, Popoli, Navelli, Santo Stefano di Sessanio, Rocca Calascio and if you get the chance Campo Imperatore for arrosticini. We were 2 couples and we loved the place, the amenities made the place feel like home, the kitchen fully equipped, the washing machine and large common area for eating and relaxing. We had other friends in the area who came over for a drink and they all loved it as well. Thanks Zita and Hugh for providing a wonderful place.

We loved Patrizia's place. It's in a beautiful location in a nature reserve, with a lovely terrace with a beautiful view looking out towards the sea - and a short walk from the beach. It's comfortable, spacious, airy, and well equipped. We were sorry not to have the opportunity in the end to use the bikes she offered us to explore the area. We were able to park in the private drive just next to the apartment, which we appreciated. Patrizia and her husband were delightful hosts, who gave us a warm welcome and shared local information with us.

I was very pleased with my week's stay in this house. It was exactly what I was looking for. Peaceful oasis not far from the beautiful Trabocchi coast. In addition to the house, garden and area, the pleasant surprise was also Nico's welcome, his kindness and the care he personally reserves for the guest with his breakfasts, real morning pampering. We had a medical issue with one of the guests and Alessandro offered all type of help to get the guest to the floor where the apartment was . Alessandro was very companionate with us and offered to be flexible with the check out time. We loved the different stunning views of the mountains and the land escape from different balconies the apartment offered If you need tranquility do not miss on renting this gem of a place The only issue we had was at the time we were there the connectivity of the WiFi was very slow Alessandro worked on it dealing with internet provider to fix it right away Other than this we really lucked out in this apartment. Thank you and may be next time we can stay longer.

Wonderful place in the San Grasso region.

Well-maintained and very cozy house. We had a very good time with the owner of the accommodation, very helpful and kind. I highly recommend it if you want to have a relaxing and quiet experience surrounded by greenery and in a great location just minutes from the ski lifts.

Everything is perfect!

Beautiful, bright, large and comfortable house. Even outside large spaces. We felt at home with all the comforts. In each room there is a television, beyond the large bedrooms also the shared spaces such as kitchen (huge), living room and veranda.

It is a small but beautiful regenerating oasis of tranquility and beauty, excellent for leaving behind hectic rhythms and stress.
