We had a wonderful stay at Robin's place... like home away from home. Very comfortable beds, fabulous kitchen for those who love to cook. Kitchen is FULLY stocked with all essential and then some! You'll love this place! Thanks so much Robin! I'm sure we'll be back!!

Grace the owner was very nice. The house was magnificent if you appreciate Victorian architecture. But the first night our room was very hot and it seemed like there was no air conditioning. Other wise, it was perfect!

Marie's organization actually books this home for Grace, the host. Grace runs an "old fashioned" bnb, with a friendly greeting as you arrive and a light breakfast featuring fresh breakfast breads and her homemade granola. We loved staying with Grace! We had plenty of privacy, a comfortable and quiet room, a private parking spot and key to come and go as we pleased. Her home is clean and safe. Grace is not intrusive at all, but she was gracious and helpful with any advice we needed during our stay. We picked exactly the right place for a perfect vacation.

A+. This place is why I come to Airbnb: unique, immersive, and full of character. I stayed in the Witches Dorm, and it felt like part of the adventure, not just a place to sleep. The decor was rich and authentic, and the common room was so cozy I spent hours writing and reading there. The 2 twin beds were comfy (even for a 6'1" guest.) Hope, the host, is fascinating and has some amazing stories, but also totally respects your space. She keeps the common area well-stocked with snacks, coffee, and drinks, which made mornings and late nights easy. Uber was always available and affordable (~$6–10), making it easy to get around if you don’t feel like walking the scenic 25–30 mins to downtown. The walk downtown can be super varied tho—walking along the coastline one day, thru a park the next, and a myriad of ways down tiny New England streets w cute houses all about the same travel time. My first time in Salem. Felt safe at all hours. Would absolutely stay at this property again. A+

Caroline is a wonderful host and the house is beautiful! She made us breakfast of our choice every morning and gave us many great suggestions. We also loved the location, it's a short bus ride to Harvard Square and transportation into the city. It is also walkable to a bodega and restaurants.

Lisa was a great host. The house was nice and we had a great time. Thank you Lisa for having us. We will come back for more visits in the future.

I had a wonderful stay at Rita’s place! The room was spotless and cozy, and the breakfast she served was absolutely delicious. But what truly made the stay special was Rita herself. She’s warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. I felt completely at home, and I’m so grateful for her kindness. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Out of all the places I've stayed through 10+ years of Airbnb visits, this is definitely one of my favorites. The space was clean, comfortable, well-appointed, quiet, and convenient to all that Boston & Cambridge have to offer, but Deborah's calm nature and friendly disposition were the best. Perfectly welcoming and secure for a woman traveling alone. I hope to have the chance to stay here again.

This place was ideal for a cheaper spot. We only had two days to see Boston so it worked out great as it was easy to get in to the city. Felt like a really safe, quiet spot. Christie was really lovely and super helpful as well!

Kate was very friendly and responded quickly to texts/questions. She knows the area well, gave good recommendations for restaurants, etc and even drove us a couple times when it was raining. We were here for a graduation and were perfectly located close to BC and the law campus. The house and gardens were beautiful.

Staying at Myra’s beautiful home was one of the most joyful experiences in all my travels. Though far from family, I felt instantly welcomed into a space full of warmth and character. The house exudes timeless charm—book-lined rooms, plush couches, and sunlit corners that invite you to relax. My cosy single room was ideal—even for a tall guest just off a long flight from Australia—and I could happily have stayed much longer. Each morning began with a nourishing, delicious breakfast and truly exceptional coffee. Myra’s attention to detail and genuine care made every part of the stay feel special. Set in a peaceful neighbourhood just 15 minutes by car or 30 by train from the city, the location was perfect for both business and leisure. Once free of luggage (a taxi was ideal), I enjoyed the pleasant walk to Newton Centre and easy commute into town. This home radiates care, comfort, and quiet charm. I hope to return soon and enjoy another coffee in those bright, welcoming rooms.

Unexpectedly great place. It’s a pity I didn’t find it sooner

Place was perfect for us to spend the night in Charlestown. We were in town for a game and it was an easy walk to TD Garden. As long as you are OK to stay on a boat (we thought it was fun), I would recommend this one.

I enjoyed my stay at Natalie’s place. Not only is she a nice host, she is extremely responsive. The self check in made it easy to get in. I saw Natalie on my way out. She graciously offered me breakfast. Sadly I declined because I was in a rush to get to an appointment. I recommend her place!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, thanks to such a considerate and thoughtful host. It truly felt like we were visiting an old friend’s home—the crib and toys thoughtfully set up for our toddler made us feel instantly at ease, and the fresh fruit and pastries waiting for us at check-in were a lovely touch. Örs was warm, welcoming, and always available if we needed anything. The location itself is stunning and couldn’t have been more perfect. We left feeling relaxed and grateful—highly recommend!

Jodi was a great host, we felt right at home from the second we walked in. Her home was so clean and beautiful. She had everything we could have needed and made an amazing breakfast in the morning, that we enjoyed outside by the fire. We will be staying with her again such a beautiful town.

I had a great stay at Peter and Jean’s place. They are friendly hosts who respect your privacy, which made the experience feel relaxed and comfortable. The room was pleasant—bright with the shades up, and nicely dark when the shades were down to block out sunlight. The community is lovely and peaceful—perfect for a walk or just enjoying the calm atmosphere. Car parking was easy, which made coming and going stress-free. Jean was especially helpful and accommodating, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a peaceful and positive experience. I would recommend their place to others.

We absolutely adored the Rajah Room. It was a beautiful space to stay for our one night in Salem and we would definitely book again in the future!

A beautiful craftsman style house near the center of Newton and a short drive to anywhere in the Boston area.

The place was cozy and comfortable. I slept soundly in the very “comfie” bed. I appreciated the ability to come and go as I pleased without any time restrictions as I was visiting family and would come in very late at night. Most of the weekend stay, I had the house to myself. Even when in the house with everyone present, I still felt free to move about the house and that really made a difference. The bathroom/restroom is small but fully equipped with everything I needed and the shower was perfect (water pressure, heat, etc). From the beginning and throughout the entire stay, Rob would say in his messages “welcome home” and truly, that’s what I felt for the entire trip and experience. I highly suggest staying here. They are the perfect hosts and have thought of everything to make someone feel like their space is your space. For that, I’m so grateful.

Overall this was a very pleasant stay in a quiet location, close to restaurants and other needed services. When I come back to this area I would like to stay here again. It is a clean, comfortable, welcoming home. Also, even though I did not use it this time, convenient quick rail transportation into downtown Boston is located a 5 minute or less walk from the b an b.
