Wow we loved this place so so much! Firstly it was within the most peaceful setting you could imagine. Sitting out in the garden was so serene, and the wood fired hot tub was a fun bonus! Inside was immaculate, so cosy and homely! Absolutely everything you might think you need was supplied! The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was dreamy! Surrounded by lovely walks (the coastal footpath was only 5 minutes walk away) and close by to some gorgeous Devonshire villages/towns, I genuinely couldn’t fault this property! Hopefully we will be back soon! ☺️

As a group of four we had an excellent stay at Briardene. The cottage had plenty of space and was extremely well equipped and very clean and stylish. The hot tub was lovely and the quiet nights enabled a good night's sleep. There were two parking spaces which was great as the village is small with narrow roads. The village pub was warm and welcoming and the food was great. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We had a wonderful time at our stay. The house was very comfortable and clean. The house is located on high level- so not very suitable for wheel chair users or people with walking problems. The bedrooms both had en suits which both were lovely (both upstairs with no downstairs toilet). The kitchen was well equipped. The location was also very good with places to visit - a car is needed. There is a good size private outside patio to use with good quality garden furniture. With an additional grass section in front -children to play The big bonus was the access to the swimming pool . steam room , sauna & jacuzzi throughout your stay.The whole family really enjoyed it- you need to bring your own towels as they do not supply the towels unless you are staying in the golf club hotel. The Golf club has a bar and Resturant to get food and drink. The golf course was especially good. Very well maintained with beautiful views. Not expensive to hire and play. We would love to return.

Lower Marsh Farm is brilliant. Wonderful location, excellent facilities, peaceful and calm. Due to the rural location, you do need a car to get there and navigate the area. Olivia the host is incredibly attentive, the instructions for getting there are clear, the optional services are excellent, and the setting is idyllic. We visited with two young children who were captivated by the wildlife and farm animals. Enjoy!

What an amazing stay! It was everything we were hoping for and more. The cottage had everything we needed and also some nice personal touches too. It was so relaxing sitting in the hot tub, listening and watching the birds . The weather was a little unsettled for us but not a problem, as we could sit in the summer house, and look out at the lovely view and our neighbours the sheep! Claire was very responsive with messaging and will look forward to visiting again soon. 🙂

Had a lovely few days away. Chris' cottage is very peaceful and had amazing views whilst relaxing in the garden. The cottage itself is very clean and homely. We would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking to come to Devon.

Thank you for a lovely stay. Lovely accomodation in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We enjoyed walks around the farm and we were joined by one of the hosts dogs a couple of times which we loved. We even managed to see an otter down at the river on our first night! Bird and hedgehog watching from the hot tub with a glass of bubbly… bliss.

Emma and Kevin couldn't have been more welcoming. Oystercatcher is a lovely place to stay and the private hot tub was perfect for us. Kevin made sure it was ready for when we wanted it. Touches such as the tea/coffee/ milk/Luscombe Elderflower Fizz made the visit and the homemade biscotti was perfect. Even the dog had a bag of treats. There was alot of information about the locality, including walks from the property and personal recommendations once we arrived. The location is very peaceful and the garden was beautiful. We will stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return! Harbour Cottage was lovely and clean and in a perfect location. It had everything we needed and more, the cream tea that was left for us when we arrived was a wonderful touch too. Plenty of beautiful beaches to explore nearby and some wonderful restaurants, we highly recommend!

Thyme cottage was such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The cottage is characterful and comfortable and well equipped. The fireplace was a wonderful, warm touch. The village of Woodbury Salterton is charming and friendly and close to Exeter. The Diggers Rest is a must! Stop in for a friendly pint or even better for a meal. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Thyme cottage will be among our top stays.

We had a wonderful time at this peaceful countryside cottage. The setting was tranquil and relaxing—perfect for a quiet getaway. Katie was a fantastic host—very welcoming and thoughtful. She even popped in to check that everything was okay and assured us we could reach out if we needed anything. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a calm and cozy environment!

Thank you Luke & Beccy for a great few days. We needed to relax but still have amenities around us. You were right, we didn’t need to move the car once it was parked. I know we could have travelled & explored but it was more about relaxing in a home from home.

We stayed for a long weekend, and had friends join us for the first night. Bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. The house is in a lovely spot, and really quiet. Instructions accurate and detailed. The kitchen was well appointed and two fridges a really useful touch. If you plan to use the BBQ you will need to bring charcoal - the local Asda had very limited option, so we recommend planning ahead! We made the most of being on the south west coast path on our second day, walking all the way to Salcombe…. The trek back up the hill was a little more intense than we hoped, but a great location. We would have happily stayed a few more days!

What an absolute gem. Tucked away down a quiet country lane and within easy walking distance of a beach this place was an absolute delight to stay in. Check in was a breeze and we found the property to be clean and well equipped, matching its online description perfectly. The property had a lovely garden with seating and was only a ten minute walk from Sidmouth donkey sanctuary. The property came with a useful information book with recommendations for places to eat which we used. A number of other well known south Devon coastal towns were only a short drive away and the property was only 30 minutes drive from Lyme Regis and the Jurassic coast. Wanted to come back as soon as we left! The cottage and its surrounding areas are absolutely stunning. Perfect for a relaxing getaway and a change of scenery. We were given a lovely recommendation for the Rugglestone Inn which we absolutely loved! Easy access to the moor and nearby village of Widecombe. The cottage is fully equipped with everything we could ever need. Not to mention its log fire which brought the whole place together as well as its comfy bed! We will be returning at some point in the near future! Can’t get enough of the place!

Driftwood was perfect for our family and had a great stay. The apartment had everything we needed and was very homely and clean. The area was great. Lovely village with everything you need a a great local pub. Richard and Ruth were very good at communicating and made our stay very easy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying at Driftwood!

Really enjoyed our stay, fantastic sea views and good walking location. Limited on amenities on your doorstep. (one pub and two cafes, no shop) The cottage is in a great location and very spacious.

We had a fantastic stay, with our 3 children, in this lovely cottage. It is a beautiful part of the country and the sea views from the garden & balcony are stunning. Steph messaged us beforehand with details of local events and was responsive to messages. The cottage was well equipped for a family, with a stair gate and highchair. Would highly recommend, we’d love to return!

Really nice cottage with a fantastic view of the river. The kitchen was really well equipped. Kingswear is a fantastic base for seeing the area: Dartmouth is only 10 minutes away by ferry, and you don't have the hassle of driving around South Hams. Would definitely recommend

What a wonderful host Gill is and such a beautiful and immaculate cottage the Milking Parlour is. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the outdoor space was perfect for the dog. We only stayed two nights but could have comfortably stayed longer. Fantastic stay x

We had a wonderful few days with our children. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful accommodation, beautifully situated in the countryside from where we explored Dartmoor, the beaches of Devon and great towns such as Dartmouth. We had a very pleasant time and are delighted to have been able to stay with Kirsten.

Great home and great host!!! It was perfect for what we needed. Nicky, was on it as soon as the booking was confirmed sending over local details about restaurants, shops, walks etc. would highly recommended.

Lovely accommodation and quiet, pretty location close to some great places and a quick drive to Totnes. Photos don’t do it justice. Spacious, serene and well thought out. A pretty garden and exclusive use of the parking right outside. Lovely hosts who gave a warm welcome but otherwise felt a very private stay.
