From the farm, depending on the season you can buy fresh eggs, honey, fruits and vegetables. Examples of excursions by bike are Mälsåkers Castle (about 4 km) or Åsa burial field (about 1 km). Relax with the whole family at our peaceful bohemian paradise in the heart of the beautiful Swedish countryside close to lake Mälaren and the picturesque summer town Mariefred yet only 50 minutes from Stockholm. Great public transport service. Parking for 2 cars. We have two neighbouring families. Surrounded by forests and beautiful fields it offers the simple and relaxing living we all crave so much. Our first guest used the cottage as a writing retreat for a documentary. The couple who came after wanted to visit the Swedish countryside and hoped to see bears (note: there are no bears here).
