The cabin can also be base for exploring the region, with a short distance to the Art Nouveau city of Ålesund, beautiful Geiranger or the bird mountain at Runde. Welcome to Brunstad, midway between Sunnmørsalpene! The apartment is a great starting point for mountain hiking both on foot in the summer/fall and in winter/spring. It is also a short distance to Ålesund (about 1 hour drive) and famous areas such as Geiranger, Hellesylt, Norangsdalen, Valldal and Trollstigen. In winter, two different ski resorts will find just 15 minutes away from the apartment; “Sunnmørsalpane Skiarena Fjellsætra” and “Strandafjellet Skisenter”.

Aasengard ligger høyt og fritt midt i et flott kulturlandskap omkranset av ville fjell. Garden grenser til Geirangerfjorden som ligger på UNESCO`s verdensarvliste.
