Good location of the house, everything can be reached quickly by car. The house is very nicely furnished and contains everything you need. The garden is very nice and good for relaxing with the hot tub. The communication with Shirley was always positive. Shirley is very welcoming.

The house is very cozy and super suitable for families (with children and dogs)! Ghislaine offers various dining arrangements, which are taken care of to the last detail. The garden is wonderful, with a hot tub and a beautiful view.

The place is quite compact, but it has everything you need. Is well suited for a short trip and for relaxation.

We had a very comfortable and relaxing 2-night, 3-day stay.This time, I was on vacation with everyone from work, and we enjoyed cooking in the large kitchen and had a very nice meal in the large space.And the little kids were happily running around in the large courtyard of the facility, and they looked very happy.There were also 5 toilets and 5 showers, and there was also a sauna, so it was very comfortable because there was always somewhere to use even if a large number of people went.If you can bring your own bed linen and bath towels, the price is also good, so I highly recommend it.We came from Dusseldorf, and it was just the right distance, and the owner was very good at German and friendly, so I was very relieved.I would like to visit again this year.

Excellent guesthouse in a nice quiet location, near the Maas. There were several cottages on site. The house we rented had a private garden that was well screened. The courtyard was shared with everyone and there were some children's bikes. In the house itself, everything was very clean. There was plenty of space, plenty of equipment also in the kitchen. Too bad the piano didn't work (some keys broken and it was completely false!) In addition, it is also unfortunate that the hot tub in the garden is not included but that this is payable separately in cash.

Nice place, especially if the weather is right. Booking a hot tub is recommended, please note that the swimming pool opens from mid-May. Cottage is a bit noisy, something to take into account.

Bart and Els are very friendly people who have received us very hospitably. We had a very nice stay.

We liked the house very much, it is very cozily furnished and the surroundings are great. Also the contact with Ilse was great, she was always available and very friendly! It was very nice :)

The owner of the house is amazing. I’m very happy that I had the chance to meet such a wonderful person by accident. And not only her, but also other family members – they are all great people. In some way, I’m even glad that some things happened so we could talk more and get to know each other better. The place is also cozy and nice. We got to enjoy the big yard and the animals during the day. Thank you.

A wonderfully quiet place, where there is plenty of space for you and who you are there. Extremely nice host, tells a lot about the house and if you want to do about the area also what to do. Together with my husband we spent 2 nights here. Definitely a place to remember.

A great apartment with three large bedrooms, each with double beds. Everything you need and more is available in the apartment/kitchen. Lots of dishes, glasses, etc. Games, TV/DVD player Balcony to get some fresh air A garage for a car because parking on the street is otherwise chargeable, was great! We always walked 20 minutes to the city because the weather was great. A large Rewe market and bakery 100m away is also super convenient. In this respect, the city center/old town is easily accessible on foot. The only small drawback is the very small bathroom, but with a separate toilet. All in all, a great apartment where no wishes were left unfulfilled👍

We would like to thank our hosts Ingrid and Luc for the wonderful time in Balen. When we arrived, Ingrid greeted us with the key and a tour of the house. The place was very clean and quiet - in the middle of the forest, but easy to reach by car. The next day we were allowed to watch a horse feeding and admire the orchard. There is a nice hiking trail nearby, which is recommended. Thank you for the lovely vacation, hospitality and generosity! We will be happy to come back!

Lovely, peaceful and clean apartment. Georg was very helpful and let us store our tandem. Good supermarket within walking distance and a lovely walk through the park into Aachen city.

Super nice stay. We felt right at home. Loet is a friendly and welcoming host. Tip for breakfast and dinner were perfect. Nearby and away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Nice beds, shower and coffee!

Very nice contact! I'm more than satisfied. You should only keep in mind that the accommodation is not directly in the city, but in a beautiful nature reserve with a lot of peace. If you want to go to the city, you can get there on foot in 25 minutes and with the bicycles provided in 10 minutes. Once again, a big thank you to the hosts. Regards, Dirk

we were there over the weekend. we had the whole place to ourselves and it was very private. the rooms are clean, plenty of towels at our disposal and other necessary stuff are available. the swimming pool is amazing. big and also deep. we would've wished the pool was heated. a big thank you to the host, Marie Lou and her friend Anne Marie for being very responsive and answering all my questions and most importantly being very flexible! will definitely come back again to it and very recommended

Top spot with all kinds of fun activities such as a ping pong table, shotter greenhouse, dart board and beautiful swimming pond. Enormously enjoyed the peace and surroundings. We'll be back!

We were able to spend a relaxing weekend there and reach Venlo quickly and easily at any time, whether by car or taxi.

This place is something special. It was way better than I expected. The lake, the garden, the studio, are just breath taking. If you need some peace and nature, but still want a bit of luxury this is your place. 10/10. Pauline was also an amazing host, very friendly, welcoming and available. Loved this place so much that I will be coming again.

Nice and uncomplicated contact. Quick response to questions. No towels means that you also don't find towels in the toilet, we were not so aware of that and it happened for the first time after four trips to Holland. Not that anyone makes the same mistake as we do :). No soap was already something more surprising but a supermarket is nearby and you can quickly buy the missing things. Otherwise, clean apartment, nice sauna and garden. Beds a little flat and soft but overall the location is recommended. There is plenty to experience in the area, especially for children.
