Family-friendly vacation rentals in Strafford

Great location and lots of amenities to keep everyone busy! Condo was clean, spacious and comfortable. There was clear communication and we'll definitely be staying again when we come back to the area!

We had a great time - beautiful house in a terrific location. Super convenient for Phillips Academy if that's why you're in the area. Nancy was very attentive (and actually lives in an apartment downstairs) so was able to do lots of nice things for us like bake us a coffee cake and make floral centerpieces. Thank you!

The house was beautiful. The walk down to the dock was also wonderful, the lake is beautiful. We really enjoyed the hot tub as well!

Scott, the co-hosts AND last but certainly not least house keeping were beyond exceptional, friendly, respectful, and responsive in a very timely manner. The atmosphere was amazing, cozy, and a place to truly enjoy quality time with your family/friends. The hot tub was a great addition, my daughter LOVED the entire backyard & front porch it was perfect for her to play and keep busy. The beds and pillows were so comfortable!!!! Everything was spotless. All around the best airbnb i've ever stayed in and we WILL be back to one of scott's properties hopefully as soon as later this year!!!! Thank you guys so much!!!!

Nice clean comfortable home not far from the lake and area attractions

A group of us went up this weekend, and despite some interesting weather, we had a fantastic time. Most of us have been friends since middle school, along with some family members. The house was perfect—spacious with plenty of bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a gorgeous kitchen that I wish were mine. My favorite feature was the screened-in porch, where we spent most of our time reminiscing and catching up. I often use Airbnb for work and family vacations, but this was by far my favorite rental. It was fully stocked with essentials, and we never ran out of toilet paper, paper towels, or towels. We brought our own blankets but didn’t need them since every bed had plenty. The living room was large, with bay windows offering a beautiful view of the lake, and the couch was so comfortable that I plan to ask the owner where it’s from. I’ll definitely be back with my children and husband for a longer stay! Thank you for helping us create beautiful memories—I look forward to returning!

This place was SO COZY, and just what my family needed! We loved the bear themed decor through the home. Russ was very proactive, responsive and kind. In addition to his instructions via the app, they were also listed in a binder in the home. His expectations were VERY reasonable and what you would expect done at your own home. The area is beautiful and is a reasonable drive to a lot of attractions. This was such a great experience and I would highly recommend staying in one of Russ’s properties. We will definitely be back!

This was one of our family’s favorite Airbnb stays! The weather wasn’t the best, however even in the pouring rain it was a beautiful location. We plan on returning.

We instantly felt at home! Everything we needed was there, including things that I often bring with me because they aren't usually provided. Erin has set up this house the way you would if you lived there yourself--extra pillows, blankets, bathroom and kitchen towels, kitchen and laundry detergent. Basic spices, coffee and tea, sugar and creamer, every kitchen gadget and utensil. Bath products, night lights, beach chairs and towels. Even a bluetooth speaker and use of their Netflix account! All we needed were a few groceries and some sunshine to enjoy the outdoor spaces and seasonal game room. The house is spacious and charming! Their check-in and check-out methods are easy and they left ample info on how things work in the house and local restaurant and activity recommendations. This is a great location and home. I almost wish we had brought the kids...

We had a wedding to attend at The Barn on the Pemi. Vikis place is literally only a 4 min drive away! Great place to stay for any event here. Very peaceful !

The Notchview cottage was great. We had a small intimate wedding ceremony there and it was perfect. The 2nd floor balcony is spacious and has great views of the White Mountains. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is well-stocked. There’s both gas and charcoal grills with propane and charcoal to suit your grilling needs. Highly recommended.

Amazing host who made sure we had everything we needed for a great weekend with our toddler and dog. I would book again in a heartbeat.

We had the best weekend here! Paul was so responsive and helpful. We enjoyed having the option to go down to his brewery and hear the live music or just hang out at the yurt / by the campfire! It was a quick drive to Kennebunkport too. We would love to come back, it was awesome!

We loved staying at Casey and Andrew’s home. They could not have been nicer and responsive. Their home is exactly like the pictures on the Airbnb website. There place was very clean. We really liked the city of Portsmouth. There was plenty to do and the restaurants were great. Anthony and Casey gave great recommendations on restaurants. We were happy with our stay in every way.

I’ve been to North Conway many times and this one was one of my favorites. The location is perfect and the space is wonderful. You’re at the center of everything and it’s a great location for families. I will definitely use this location again the next time I come to North Conway.

I had a great experience at Mike’s AirBNB. It was very nice and clean. The AirBNB is in a great location within walking distance to local restaurants and shopping plaza’s. This AirBNB is listed at a very reasonable and fair price. Mike reached out to make sure I didn’t have any trouble checking in. This was a perfect place to stay for Laconia Bike Week. I had a great stay. Highly recommend!

The place was quite nice. Views of the hilltop were spectacular. It felt quite private. Getting to it in the winter would be a problem without four-wheel-drive. It’s probably best if this isn’t your first time using four-wheel-drive on back roads. I recommend it, especially for larger parties. There’s plenty of room. You can always retreat to the large porch with plenty of chairs if they start driving you crazy.

We had a wonderful stay here! We were up for a weekend to enjoy the snow and mountains and appreciated how close it was to everything we planned. We had a snow storm the second night and the grounds maintenance was perfect, we had no problem walking right out the door. We would recommend heading for a stay!
