Romantic cottage for 2 with wood fired hot tub

RuthRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Wow we loved this place so so much! Firstly it was within the most peaceful setting you could imagine. Sitting out in the garden was so serene, and the wood fired hot tub was a fun bonus! Inside was immaculate, so cosy and homely! Absolutely everything you might think you need was supplied! The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was dreamy! Surrounded by lovely walks (the coastal footpath was only 5 minutes walk away) and close by to some gorgeous Devonshire villages/towns, I genuinely couldn’t fault this property! Hopefully we will be back soon! ☺️

Kingfishers Devon - 5* Luxury Barn - Lakeside

JeffreysRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed here whilst doing a Uni visit and only wished we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful and has everything we needed. A perfect, relaxing setting. Particularly, sitting on the decking by the lake. We took our dog who also loved all the grassy areas. A lovely treat was watching from the window the rabbits & goats playing. Highly recommend!

Comfy detached rural cottage Devon -hot tub, views

JonRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely cottage, had everything we needed for a great week. Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. All the crockery, utensils and pans you need for cooking. Hot tub was certainly a favourite and well used! Nice to have plastic ‘glasses’ for use outside. Great selection of games was a nice surprise. Being able to walk the dog right from the doorstep made it so easy - we really enjoyed exploring the smallholding. Hosts were very quick to respond with answers and support. Yes, the Tesco delivery man did manage to find us and unload :-)

We loved our stay! Beautiful cottage that was superbly clean, lovely location with plenty to do nearby (within 20mins or so drive, plus greatwalks and pubs on the doorstep). We bumped into the hosts a couple of times and they were really friendly. Normally as a family we like to stay in diffeent properties when we head away but we are already exploring dates to return here in the Summer.

Cramwell Cottage, The Ley Arms

LauraRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Beautiful cottage with cosy but striking decor, really comfortable and cosy. Perfect for the six of us. Kitchen had everything we needed to prep a roast and the garden was small but perfectly formed. The local pub was a stones throw through a pretty village, with a really delicious menu. Only downside was no local shop for a pint of milk, loaf or emergency crisps. But I guess that may be tricky to sustain in second home areas. All in all a really comfortable cottage - thank you x

We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

Romantic cottage for two, Dartmoor and SW coast

RossRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Can't fault the place or our time there. Tania was very responsive and helpful, the place was just what we wanted for two people. Spent time at Burgh Island and a 5 hour walk around Dartmoor; the place is well positioned for both of these activities. Dog loved it as well. Apart from breakfast, ate out and the Rock Inn was great for a nice meal; kitchen seems well catered for though. Parking was relatively easy, just look for places up side streets, especially up past the war memorial.

Tranquil 2 bed cottage Sidmouth, rural escape

StephenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What an absolute gem. Tucked away down a quiet country lane and within easy walking distance of a beach this place was an absolute delight to stay in. Check in was a breeze and we found the property to be clean and well equipped, matching its online description perfectly. The property had a lovely garden with seating and was only a ten minute walk from Sidmouth donkey sanctuary. The property came with a useful information book with recommendations for places to eat which we used. A number of other well known south Devon coastal towns were only a short drive away and the property was only 30 minutes drive from Lyme Regis and the Jurassic coast. Thoroughly recommend this wonderful property. Thank you Linda for a lovely stay.

'Little Timbers' private self-contained studio

LewisRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Little Timbers is a wonderful retreat in the gorgeous village of Coffinswell. The accommodation provided everything we needed and more, and was very comfortable indeed. Tim and Chrissie are fantastic hosts, respectful of their guests privacy but always on hand for any questions and smiling faces when you see them in the garden. If ever we are back in the area, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. top tip: book the Linny Inn (a short walk up the road) for dinner: you won't regret it!

Quirky Victorian Cottage in Shaldon

RichardRating, 5 stars3 months ago
I enjoyed my stay at Cooks cottage. I found it to be clean, comfortable with all the mod cons that you might need. The cottage provided peace and quiet and privacy which was most welcome. Very good nights sleep was had due to good quality bed and linen. It was pleasant to awake to a dawn chorus of songbirds from the rear enclosed garden. Blackbirds, Robins, Dunnocks and Wrens were evident among the mossy surrounds. At the end of my stay I felt refreshed with my wellbeing much improved. Thanks for the opportunity to experience life in Shaldon at Cooks cottage. Richard Simmons

Unique 2 bedroom cottage in the heart of Shaldon

AlexaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We enjoyed our stay at The Salty. Quiet, spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen. We did find the top bedroom mattress a little too soft for us, but that's a personal opinion, we chose the top bedroom as it had a lovely view and a wardrobe, It would also have been nice if there had been another bedside table, as there was only one, but this is a small quibble. The Salty is in an excellent location, close to the beach and local amenities, including the Ferry across to Teignmouth and the coastal path for lovely walks. We would recommend a visit to the Botanical Gardens & the Zoo in Shaldon. Overall, a great stay and would love to come back one day!
