The upstairs will not be rented during your stay, so you'll have the house to yourself but won't have access to the upstairs. Only available during the off season.

Quiet Grand Mere Coach House on Lake Michigan

The Coach House is in an eclectic neighborhood on Lake Michigan. Grand Mere State Park is a year around beautiful place for hiking by small lakes and through beautiful sand dunes. A small beach is a 2 minute walk away. The family room and kitchen face Lake Michigan with lots of windows. The house has a queen bedroom, queen pullout in family room, and laundry. A gas FIRE PIT and a HOT TUB are located on the back patio directly on Lake Michigan with a spectacular view behind the main house.

Lots of privacy and next to organic garden, fields, stable and fruit orchards. All utilities, TV and WI-FI included. Well water with new water softener and water heater. Pet friendly; no pet fee. Lots of farm paths to walk your pet. Encourage off leash if trained. Horses have moved to another farm while pasture and stable rehabbed.

After having to cancel our trip to Florida last minute, we were eager to make sure our kids were able to take their first beach trip. Rachel was very responsive and accommodating to our need for a late check in. Upon our arrival, we were able to enter into a spotless, beautiful home. It truly felt like home for the few days we spent in the area. The home was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The area was quiet and peaceful and conveniently located close to the beach and local restaurants/coffee shops. Would recommend 10/10. We definitely plan to book here again in the future.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed Michelle’s cottage as our home base while visiting St Joe. It was close to everything we wanted to do and provided peaceful respite. Michelle was very responsive with one issue that we had and rectified it very quickly which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend staying here!

Cabin decor is spot on. We arrived and once entering knew we picked the right place. Was our central location for some rockhounding. Cooked all meals from cabin and used the fireplace on the night it was cold and rainy. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We recently spent a lovely weekend at Lake Solis. The house could not be more well stocked, cleaner or any more cozy and well designed. Every last detail is thoughfully designed to ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay. Out of all the houses in the development, this house has the best location, with a private beachfront and unobstructed views of the peaceful little lake. The host has been super friendly and accomodating. She requires no special rules upon checkout, instead wanting to make sure her guests simply enjoy their stay without having to worry about chores. And the best part - pets are welcome! Our yellow lab Bruno had an absolute blast, spending time in nature with all of us! Thank you!!!

Had a great stay! My only complaint was the bed in the bedroom is very hard, but that’s just my preference. Otherwise, fully stocked with amenities, bathroom/feminine products, towels, shamooo, etc. Full set of dishes, pans, spices, cutlery etc. my son and I felt right at home!

Patty was so nice and left a few extras for us while we were there! Great little touches! The price was a big reason we stayed, besides the location. We loved the location. It is just slightly out of the town we planned on visiting. They offered a county park pass, which was perfect for us to enjoy the sunsets at Silver Beach. Patty's communication with us was great and always in a timely manner! We plan to return and stay at this place again in the future. The place was very clean and such a cute studio type downstairs apartment!! The grounds around the home are beautiful!! Such a peaceful place. Loved watching the birds and wildlife outside. It was great getting to meet Patty and her husband in person, as we usually have no real contact with the owners of an Airbnb. Such a sweet couple. Rent their place, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Patty and Dave for such an enjoyable stay at you place!!

Great place to stay! The space was just right for our family of four. the two littles loved the games and toy that was at the house, and we loved the stocked coffee area and easy washer/dryer. Easy drives to Indiana Dunes NP, Silver Beach in St Joseph, and other fun destinations, as well as local u-pick farms made this a great stay and great trip. Robert was very quick and responsive with the briefest wifi glitch when we first arrived. We will be back!!
