The apartment is really very nice and clean, it also has the style of Cinzia, a person who loves sincerity and simplicity, as well as the beauty of nature. She has always been available to requests and has always provided useful suggestions. I highly recommend this place, essential and comfortable, both for those who want to spend days in the mountains and at the sea, easily accessible but remaining a little off the classic tourist routes.

We, two adults and three children, had a wonderful time in this beautiful penthouse. Although the weather was not on our side, we made some lovely trips to neighbouring villages and Genoa. The beach is almost on the doorstep and is clean. The area is perhaps a little too quiet for teenagers, but that was also due to the weather.

We had booked because the apartment is close to beaches. We were lazy and went by car, but it is easy to walk /bike! Beach is good! In addition, plenty of restaurants in the area!

Stunning terrace view of the city and waterfront below, truly beautiful. The host met us at the train station and walked us to the place, we would not have found it otherwise. Recommend using the luggage service available, as the slope was a bit difficult for 65 year olds to manage our luggage. You must eat at the restaurant "Old School Cocktails and Food", just 20 meters from our entrance. We cancelled dining experiences elsewhere for this hometown and delicious Italian food/fellowship. The host was very responsive to a few minor issues, thank you Carolina for the wonderful stay!

We had an amazing 5 night stay at Annalisa's and Viola's property. Annalisa met us in at the main street to lead the way to the unit so check in was a breeze. I stayed here with my 6 year old and husband. Husband slept on the pullout couch and he was comfortable. Plenty of amenities and the ocean breeze through the front door was refreshing. A great base to explore the other towns.

The location of the flat is perfect for adventuring Lucca. It’s very large for a couple and has everything you would need. We were very impressed by Sabrina’s hospitality and all of the recommendations she was honestly the best host I’ve experienced through Airbnb in my 7 years of using the service.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Bryan and Sara! Reaching the accommodation requires a short hike, but you’re rewarded with stunning views – and the luggage is conveniently brought up by a small tractor. From the very beginning, everything was perfect. The house, garden, and pool are absolutely beautiful – a true little paradise. Everything was clean and lovingly maintained. Bryan and Sara are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts who do everything they can to make your stay special. Since we arrived late, Sara kindly offered to prepare a lovely dinner for us, and Bryan gave us a little pizza-making class – such a great experience! Their helpfulness and kindness, combined with the magical charm of the accommodation, made our stay truly unique and unforgettable. Thanks a lot :)

Our stay was completely successful! Communication with Elisa was super easy and pleasant – we felt well taken care of from the beginning. The house was exactly as described: clean, cozy and well equipped. We especially liked the beautiful garden and the well-equipped kitchen – perfect for cooking something delicious yourself. A beautiful house and location, with all the facilities you need. Very friendly host who met us on arrival and was always available to answer any questions we had, the house was clean and tidy inside and the private garden & pool was so peaceful. We had a lovely dinner in their restaurant and were made to feel so welcome, if we return to Metato we will definitely stay here again!

As others have said—all of the reviews are spot on! A unique setting in the countryside about 30 minutes drive to Parma on mountain roads, beautiful historic building and grounds (with tastefully updated bathrooms to go with the historic charm, plus even a clothes washer and dryer you can access, a rarity in Italy), and a consummate host in Maria Teresa. Using her knowledge and connections to get personalized tours of smaller local parmigiano and prosciutto factories was a real highlight, and we especially enjoyed the nearby Torrechiara castle as well. The kids loved her animals too. 10/10 stay!

Our family vacation (4 people) in this place was an absolute dream and in reality much more impressive than in the photos. The entire property is immaculately clean and exudes a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere. For our children and us, the pool in front of the breathtaking mountain scenery was the daily highlight – a perfect place to unwind and enjoy. The location is fantastic to escape the ordinary and be active at the same time. We explored the area on several beautiful hiking tours. But what really makes the stay special are the hosts: Chris and Joanna are incredibly warm and helpful. Their hospitality is exceptional. We highly recommend this place.

Most of all, we were thrilled with the magnificent view, which gave us a great end to the day every evening on the beautiful olive terrace. The place was nice and clean and the bed was ultra cozy, perfect to sink into the pillows after a long action-packed day. In addition, the small apartment offers everything you need - for the still cool nights, the pellet stove served us very well. The bathroom in particular was beautifully decorated and very clean and also had a fantastic view over the terrace. Maria-Elena was always super friendly and very accommodating. We look forward to seeing you again in beautiful Benabbio.

We had a great 3 nights, our arrival was late and Sabrina and her husband were very welcoming. The apartment is just perfect, they have lots of attention. And amazing life on the sea.... I'll be back ♥️

Matteo E Oriana’s place was absolutely stunning! The view was breathtaking. She was very accommodating to our need to check in early. It is important not to underestimate the stairs, this may be a problem if you are elderly or have a physical impairment. We had a little miscommunication due to the language barrier but Oriana is so lovely and nice to deal with. Thank you for the stay.

Everything was perfect! Everything was prepared for our two little kids. Thank you so much! Only the fact that we couldn‘t enter the door with our twin stroller was a bit annoying as it was a smaller door than expected. But no one‘s fault. We loved the flat! Again thank you very much! We love to come back with a smaller stroller! :)

We had a great time there. If you do not mind climbing some stairs, we highly recommend this place.

we had a great short 2 day break in Elenas place. the accommodation is more beautiful in real life and perfectly located for walking distance to everything, Including the train. it more than comfortable for two couples. we were disappointed to only be there for 2 days. thank you for the wonderful stay whilst exploring beautiful Lucca.
