The Copper Cottage - near the Appalachian Trail

ShannonRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Cozy, adorable little cottage close to downtown! It has everything you need for a short or long stay, and plenty of room for a doggo. Amazing shower and cozy bed! Only ‘complaint,’ which is not even one, is that it got chilly inside at night and the heater was a bit difficult to use to raise the heat. Overall a wonderful weekend stay!

Adam’s place was the perfect spot for my little weekend get away! The space was very clean and organized. Adam was super helpful the whole stay and gave us recommendations on the best place to watch the sunset. 10/10, I’ll be back again! I’d recommend this place to everyone!

Updated Victorian Welcomes You & Your Pets

DeanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great getaway! Peaceful neighborhood literally a 5 minute walk through a park and over the historic railroad bridge to the shops and restaurants in downtown Staunton. Kitchen was well stocked and the place is decorated with cleaver and eclectic decor. Beautiful historic building with updated/newly renovated interior amenities. Shea was helpful, very accommodating and responsive. Can’t say enough about how nice our stay was - and we’ll definitely be back! Oh yeah - hiking in the mountains was one of our reasons for coming to the area - and the entrance to Skyline Drive is like 15 minutes away. It was the perfect spot for our birthday get away!

Michael’s place is wonderful. We can’t wait to come back! It is full of thoughtful touches, including snacks and kitchen essentials. We loved how dog friendly it is and the wonderful fenced in yard for our pup. The highlight is the river out front! We had the best time climbing out on the river rocks with the lovely fresh mountain water. This place is amazing and Michael is a great host. Thanks!

This was truthfully the most beautiful and peaceful Airbnb my partner and I have ever experienced! The host was so kind, providing muffins, fresh orange juice, eggs, and snacks! The screened porch overlooking the creek was my favorite part. Such peaceful mornings with delicious coffee! It felt just like home- we will definitely return soon with our pup!

The Bear Cub Cabin

EvanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
From the moment we first arrived, my newlywed wife and I absolutely fell in love with this cabin. Sitting just a few hundred feet northeast of the pinnacle of Sharp Ridge and overlooking High Knob to the east, this little mountain retreat is a close friend to dazzling sunrises and a bejeweled night sky, winding Allegheny roads and the sarcastically-named Dry Run, a whole host of critterkind and the timbers wherein they make their homes, yet a stranger to civilization, the worldwide web, and—of course—blue waters. In our case, we wanted to disconnect from the technocracy in which we live and exclusively spend quality time with one another immersed in the beauty of nature, and we could not have dreamed of a better spot. Despite the isolation, the charming town of Franklin is only a fifteen-minute drive away and has plenty of groceries, gas, restaurants, and that all-important cell service. As I wrote in the guest book, West Virginia stole our hearts and this cabin was the mastermind.

The Red Hen Historic Cottage

KimberlyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
One of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in! What a charming home in a fantastic location, totally updated with everything you could need to be comfortable. I felt right at home and several days I just stayed in and enjoyed the house and the lovely view from the windows. The bed was extremely comfortable and the rooms felt spacious. The photos don’t do it justice. There was a lot of thought and love put into this home and Katrina could not have been a better hostess! 5 stars all the way!

Queen City Cottage - Walk Downtown

EmmaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a perfect spot for a weekend getaway! Staunton is beautiful and this home is the perfect location to walk anywhere. We walked downtown every day, just a quick drive or walk to Montgomery Hill Park, a walk to the baseball stadium, and a quick drive to tons of hiking! The house was clean, had everything we needed, and they even set up dog bowls for our pup. We especially loved hanging out on the front porch. Will definitely be back!

Kristie's Magical Treehouse/Tiny Art Gallery

KariRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Kristie's place was amazing! So many little details that make this place truly unique - beautiful artwork, fun wallpaper in the bathroom, fresh flowers in each area, firewood and smores supplies. I felt like we were staying at a friend's house. It felt very private, both from the rest of the house and from neighbors. We would have loved to have used the firepit area, but it had rained. It looked so relaxing! The bamboo grove is very cool to see - they're huge! Tucked away from town but still close to everything and easy to get around. Kristie was friendly, responsive, and helpful with any questions we had. We can't say enough good things about this place - even the water pressure in the shower was great! Kristie and her place are gems, and we hope to be back soon!

Enchanting, historic home - short walk to downtown

Rita McGillRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The Sweet Little Darling stay was charming and comfortable. I only wish we could have stayed longer to gain even more of a feel for the place and the area. The home is an effective blend of historic detail and modern convenience. We had a toddler with us, and so understandably, we were especially mindful in using the front and back stairways. The place is one of the cleanest Airbnbs in which I’ve stayed and definitely deserves its “5” rating.

The LoriAnn, A Boutique Stay New Sleep Number Bed

KristinRating, 5 stars1 day ago
What a gorgeous and charming space! The pictures don’t do it justice, this was one of the coziest air bnbs I’ve ever stayed at. From the second you walk in, it’s a very cool vibe. The decor and details are amazing. The location was perfect, it’s a nice quiet street, with stores and restaurants within a close distance. The bed was one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in (I already bought the sheets on Amazon!). We were in the area to hike Shenandoah and it was the perfect place to stay for the night. If we are in the area again we would 100% stay here again!
