We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect—just a short walk to great restaurants and a beautiful, warm, shallow beach that was perfect for our family. The house itself exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly spacious and had more bathrooms than any Airbnb we've ever booked, which made a big difference for our large group. The pool was a lot of fun, even without heating, and the jacuzzi was a great bonus. The place was spotless and truly felt like a hidden gem right in the city—hard to believe you can find something this nice in such a convenient location. Nicolas, the host, was fantastic. He provided a helpful written guide and surprised us with several thoughtful freebies. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommended!

An absolute gem, we had an amazing stay at Maria's place. The house is absolutely beautiful, modern with quality all around. It's also super private with nothing but nature around you. Will definitely be coming back!!

Valia was lovely and very quick to respond. The villa was amazing and modern, very quiet location, great views and perfect for walking/running along the sea. Just to note the beach is rocky so wouldn’t be used for a beach day out. We had a perfect and relaxing holiday! Thank you

The villa was pretty extraordinary overall. We've stayed in villas on a number of Greek islands over the last 12 years and this was the best on most counts. The interior was comfortable and spacious, really light and airy. There were only two of us, but I doubt it would be crowded with 6. A huge amount of kitchen equipment (you name it, the kitchen had it), all appliances seemed nearly new and of great quality. Showers with good supplies of hot water and strong pressure. The outside is fantastic - the pool is huge and the perfect depth throughout (maybe not ok for young children, with no shallow end). Plenty of comfortable seats and sun loungers, umbrellas for shade. The jacuzzi is a great bonus and is really high quality. Huge grounds and some lovely flowers. All windows have shutters so bedrooms could be made very dark overnight. We weren't interrupted at all through the week but whenever we had a question we received a rapid response. I can't think of anything negative to say!

Nikos and Joanna were excellent hosts. Clear instructions of how to find the villa and greeted us on arrival. The villa is immaculate, very high end finish and the surrounding area is stunning. Close to both Chania and the Marina, both worth a visit. We have had a brilliant time with the family and will definitely be back again!

Great place to stay near Chania. It was a little difficult to find, otherwise everything as described. The private pool and garden are very pretty. the rooms extremely comfortable. Communication was always very fast, helpful and reliable. happy to come back.

Lovely secluded villa high on a hill amongst the shrill of cicadas with a lovely garden. It’s 5 mins drive from the beech, so offers a nice mix of getting in amongst it at the beech bars and then being able to get away from it all for peace and quiet. We arrived very late in the dark. The road is secluded, rural and steep. It can be very disconcerting if your tired after a late flight. First gear, plenty of revs. Do. Not. Stop. Villa Clio comes up on your left; drive past it and reverse in to the parking space. You get used to it. The terraced pool is great and includes the two small baby pools higher than the main. It was our inspiration for ‘pool ball’, played with a volley ball. One player stands in the top pool to defend, the other in the main lower pool to attack. Points are scored by landing the ball in the top pool without touching the defender or surrounding wall. If the defender touches the ball before it lands in the water it’s counted as a save. Players get 5 mins each half before they have to swap. Defenders can waste time by shooting the ball back to the deep end. Any shot that is bounced out is a point to the opposition. A good time had by all. TV is rudimentary but you may have have turned up with a few portable devices and the Wi-Fi is very good.

We had a wonderful stay at The Villa Oasis in Galatas. The peaceful setting among olive groves with mountain views was the perfect escape just outside Chania. The hosts, Giorgos and Stelios, were incredibly kind and always responsive — even during an unexpected storm, they made sure to start the clean up of the outdoor space quickly so we could enjoy the space again. We arrived to a generous welcome of homemade spinach pie, chocolate cake, fruit and even some raki. The house was friendly and equipped for us to easily cook simple meals and we loved barbecuing outdoors and relaxing by the pool. They provided great recommendations both nearby and around the island as this was a great jumping off point for all our activities. A perfect spot for a quiet family getaway that’s still close to everything!

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. We had a fabulous stay here. The villa is lovely, inside and out, with a well equipped kitchen, including food staples and a variety of different seating areas outside. The pool is great and the beach is virtually on the doorstep, with free sunbeds (if you buy at least a drink from the local taverna). In terms of local amenities, there is a small shop and a couple of tavernas within a few minutes walk, plus a small hotel complex, where you can also eat and visit their bar. There are 2 larger supermarkets within a couple of kilometres, for which you would either need a car or taxi, however the hosts were kind enough to ferry us there and back, when we first arrived, which was so helpful. Chania Old Town is beautiful and we travelled there on a couple of occasions by taxi (28E) in the evening, but you can also take a bus which stops near to the villa. Finally, the hosts, Eleni and Thrasyvoulos were lovely, regularly checking in without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

We immediately fell in love with this villa! The quality of absolutely everything in and around the building is extraordinary. The pictures cannot truly capture how beautiful and well-designed this place is. From the tasteful interior decor to the immaculate outdoor areas, every detail has been carefully thought out to provide both comfort and luxury. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway. We can’t wait to return!

This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

A lovely villa - looked exactly like the photos. We were a family of 8 adults and 2 small children and there was room for all of us. Kitchen was big enough with every utensil (and more) you could think of. Our host was there to greet us and was always responsive when needed ( 2 small issues both quickly resolved). A lovely welcome basket of food/drink etc was a nice touch. I would not say a car is essential - its less than 10 mins walk to several lovely restaurants and a nice little beach. However the nearest proper supermarket is 30-40 mins walk although its only a 10 euro taxi back and youll save more than that as the local shop (2 mins down the hill) is only really any good for fresh bread and emergency supplies! The outside/pool area in villa was roomy and the inside hot tub/sauna were well used. My only advice would be to have some sun loungers on the terrace outside main bedroom as that did seem wasted space although lovely views of the mountains and the sea. We would stay again.

Absolutely wonderful! We were so happy with our stay at Villa Sissy. Booking was smooth and all questions were answered. The house is beautiful and the pool is amazing. We had the pool heated (in april) and was perfect. Everyone, especially the kids, enjoyed it. We were 3 generations staying - 4 children, 5 adults. Each bed room nicely decorated with en suite. Sissy as a hostess was welcoming, informative, helpful and friendly. And the welcoming package was amazing. Sissy even managed an extra bed in one room to suit the family. Chef Spyros recommended through cretevillas4u was great! All in all - a great vacation in villa Sissy!

Absolutely incredible stay at the villa very opulent from the minute the gate opens . So spacious,5 of us stayed for 1 week and the villa was just perfect. The Airbnb was fantastic, very modern and spacious with an amazing view. The host was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and also during our stay. One of the best Villa’s I have ever stayed in, the pictures do not do it justice. Highly recommend choosing this for your stay in Greece. Only bad thing is that we had to leave to come back home!

Elena’s place is awesome! Lovely countryside and ocean views. Walking distance to local restaurants and a really great Long Beach. Perfect for your kids too with garden and olive trees to climbs and garden toys etc. And thank you Elena for being a wonderful host, with lots of goodies and to welcome us over and above the usual coffee etc.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. We booked this villa as a treat for our 40th and our first holiday in 15 years without our son. The villa was absolutely beautiful and the hosts were lovely. They had made us a Greek salad on our arrival and had provided us with milk eggs wine and fruit. They even made a beautiful marble cake as we had a thunderstorm and everything was covered in sand so they had to come a second day to clean the pool and outside area so we could use it.. Eftychis and his mum also provided use with restaurants and site seeing destinations like the botanical gardens which were well worth visiting.. We tried to book the villa again this year but they are fully booked. So we will be looking to book again next year.. It is absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit..

The Sunflower sets the bar for accommodations in Greece! Alex was always a msg & 5 mins away. Honestly you couldn't meet a nicer man. The place is beyond amazing - pool, location, quiet, safe.... There are so many restaurants 5 minute walk, and only a few minutes more to the main beach road (stores/ more restaurants/anything). If we come back to Greece, we are coming here. This place in conjunction with Crete has set a gold standard. Thank you Alex for making our stay memorable!

The location was amazing, basically 15 mins from Chania city center, and all the amenities made it feel like a home away from home. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chania!
