Vacation rentals with a kayak in St. Simons Island

Hello, so first off we arrived in town early reached out to Dana about early check in, within minutes he responded to my message allowing us to check in early. The house and its location are amazing you feel at home as soon as you drive up. The house was very furnished from towels and bedding to kitchen supplies . I would recommend this property to anyone it will fit all ages of people. The pool was great no bugs with the screen enclosure. They had an assortment of life vest for safety. Just an absolute great place we loved it and look forward to our next visit. This was our second stay at this property. Thank you guys Kenneth.

Ms Lou’s cabin and host, Daryn, made for one of our top 3 vacation rental experiences. The cabin was remote and rustic (what we were looking for), yet perfectly comfortable. Very clean with nice furnishings and linens throughout. The screen porch looking out over the marsh was why we chose it and it did not disappoint. It’s where we spent most of our time, eating, reading, relaxing and wildlife watching. Daryn was communicative, proactive and gave great recommendations for things to do in the area and nearby places to eat/ buy seafood and groceries. We highly recommend this wonderfully peaceful property and plan to visit again.

Loved our stay at the Blue Heron. So spacious and all furnishings and kitchenware was all nice and up to date. Outside area was beautiful and fun to hang out in - our teenage boys loved the kayaks and playing football and ping pong outside. We took a few beach trips to Jekyll Island which was nice and quiet. Stephen was very responsive and made us feel very welcome. We would love to come back!

I have to say that Miss Linda’s place on River Dr was absolutely amazing! We had a general idea of what we had rented but when we got there we were stunned to find out how close the dock was, how we were able to fish and go crabbing…let’s just say we enjoyed a nice fresh shrimp/blue crab boil one night. Her place is furnished in a beach kinda feel and was so quiet. All we heard at night were the chirping and sounds of the wildlife. We saw deer and bunnies. She even asked during our stay if we were enjoying ourselves. I can tell you right now that has never happened for us. I HIGHLY recommend this place to friends who need some time away or family. We WILL be coming back. Oh and everything is close by. Restaurants etc. Thank you Miss Linda you and your home were amazing!

Walking into Shelley's home is walking into elegance! This utter piece of high-celinged gorgeousness is stocked with every ammenity one could desire, is incredibly clean and simply beautiful. The enclosed patio with its teak table and chairs are perfectly balanced against the stunning backdrop of the St. Mary's River. All the patio plants were healthy and created a serene vibe! I cannot recommend Shelley's home enough and hope to be able to come back and stay again! 5⭐️s!

Awesome place. The view is absolutely beautiful. Loved the river. The house is spacious, very comfortable beds. The soaker tub was very relaxing. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful.

The house was awesome with a private dock on the Sapelo River. This is a perfect location for 2 family's. It was exactly how Scott described it on his listing. Their were several great restaurants we ate at during our stay (Altman's for breakfast, The Fish Dock right around the corner, B and J's, Hunter's Cafe, Tabby House Brewing and several food trucks during the festival). The time we were in Townsend they had the Blessing of the Fleet in Darien which was awesome. So much to do and see in this area.

Darrien's place was fantastic! It is quiet and peaceful. A great place to get away, unplug. and relax. The house is well stocked with necessities and extras.

We had such an amazing time at Whitney's place. The views both inside and outside were beautiful. The area the home is in is very peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed spending the evenings on the dock and even saw 2 dolphins the first evening there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We loved our stay at Marsh Tide cottage, perfect Sapelo getaway, quiet, tidal, avian, surrounded by marsh magic. Kayak access/use a bonus! The space is also super accommodating/welcoming for families. Thank you Linda Michelle for your hospitality and making logistics easeful to navigate.

The cottage and grounds exceeded our expectations. The 3 level private dock blew us away! We wanted to fish and crab and very nice crab traps were provided. The setting was truly spectacular, quiet and private and the location was excellent. We were able to walk to downtown for dining and an eclectic boutique to shop for treasures to take home. We can say so much more but to say we fell in love is an understatement. We will definitely return!

William was a helpful host. We had a lovely time, it felt private and serene.
