Bethnal&Bec Luxury Stay - Outdoor Bath (Bethnal)

MatthewRating, 5 stars31 months ago
We'd just sold our house of 22 years and needed somewhere to stay for a few days and I was in such muddle I'd not even looked in any detail at where we were staying so arriving at Bethnal and Becs was a lovely surprise. Everything was luxury and quality. Chris and Vicky put a lot of energy and love into making the stay there relaxing. We loved the amazing double shower and the outside bath. Great walk to the Jolly Waggoners pub nearby. We hope to have an excuse to come back.

The White Cottage Romantic Riverside Retreat

JohnRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The White Cottage is a truly magical experience, and combined with Sally’s as the perfect host, we came away from our short break with memories that will last a lifetime. The location is breathtakingly peaceful. A garden within a garden set in landscape where time has good still. The stream that runs through garden is a playground for wildlife and you’ll be sharing your breakfast with ducks and moorhens. If you want a break oozing peace and quiet, a chance to unwind, and forget the day to day life the white cottage has it spades. Sally is a delightful host. Nothing is too much trouble. You arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. We loved it
A welcoming lounge area is showcased, featuring a cozy seating arrangement with a large sofa and two armchairs. Natural light streams through the window, illuminating the exposed timber beams and art pieces. A wood burner is positioned in the corner, creating a warm focal point.

4 Bed in Saffron Walden (85662)

LizRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The Old Farmhouse was one of the best equipped Airbnbs that we have ever stayed in. We particularly loved the hot tub and the four ponies/donkeys. Although you can walk around the fields surrounding the house, you have to drive to Finchingfield for food and drink etc. We had a Sainsbury’s supermarket delivery which worked well.

Lakeside Lodge

DebbieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay and left feeling so relaxed and chilled out. The surroundings were not only beautiful but tranquil. The location between Stamford and Market Deeping perfect with great places to eat, we had a lovely time wandering around Stamford. The property itself was stunning and very well equipped, everything was thought of and you could easily spend weeks here and have all you needed for day to day living. Everything was sparkly clean and tidy, no clutter. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding of a high quality. We felt so at home and relaxed here. I honestly cannot find anything to say could be improved upon, we loved it and will most definitely be back.

Willow Cottage

JulieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay in Willow cottage. It is extremely comfortable and well kitted out, I can’t think of anything missing. Everything in the kitchen we needed, including staples such as condiments and oil, even decaf coffee and rubber gloves. The only small hiccup was reversing out of the small parking place, my husband had to guide me out, stopping the traffic 😆. Fortunately we only had to do that once when we left, as it was an easy short walk to the centre of town. We even got the train to Cambridge, easy 👍.

Quiet Lane Retreat: The Bee Cottage Rutland

ChloeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Steve & Hanri have been the perfect hosts. A beautiful house set in a stunning location that's so quiet. The property had everything we needed and we did all our washing before coming home. There lots of little nooks to read a book. 'What Lies beneath' is a good read! On arrival we were left beautiful treats from the bakery, along with a bottle of wine and treats for our minature dachshund. The garden was a delight with a table and chairs for all the family. The yellow seated area near the rose is a real treat to enjoy a glass of wine or coffee on your own. All the recommendations are on a handmade map and we visted quite a few and we're very satisfied. The local pub 'The Sun Inn' offers the most outstanding food and service. The chip shop around the corner also satisfied our taste buds. Both our children enjoyed the recreation ground court where they played football and basket ball. The surrounding houses are just stunning. A 5* location and 5* hosts. We will be returning again.

Andy’s place is sensational. Rutland is a hidden treasure, and his cottage is at its heart. Beautiful rooms, home and village. Pub moments away in a uniquely walkable setting. This is the Cotswolds but without the tourists. Fantastic host too, friendly and proactive. Thank you!

The Acorn was a wonderful place to stay. Wildlife nearby with many lovely nature walks. But shops were also nearly which was convenient. The Acorn is a fabulous little cottage with all that you need - Lionel and Helen were the best hosts always attentive. After leaving I forgot the firestick remote and they sent it back the next day! We will definitely come again.

The Old Dairy - a quiet countryside retreat

AmyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We loved staying at The Old Dairy for our mini moon with our dog. The weather was glorious (slightly too hot!) and it made the surroundings even more beautiful! The outside area was perfect to relax in and we used the BBQ a few times. It was lovely knowing our dog was completely safe and secure and he loved playing in the garden. The walk to the local pub was easy and took around 20mins, it was friendly with a great selection of drinks. We did the park & ride based on Mitzi’s recommendation to get into Cambridge which was very simple and quick. The recommendations left for us were really helpful. The place had everything we needed and the pictures don’t do it justice, we would love to visit again and explore more of the local walks in cooler weather. It was exactly what we needed to relax.

Country Cottage in Stunning Gardens + Heated Pool

IsabelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Really lovely stay. Extremely pristine and private airbnb, perfect for dogs and so peaceful! If your only knowledge of the English countryside is from romantic movies, then this is pretty much 100% as dreamy as you would hope. Angela was always available and responded in an extremely timely manner. We have stayed in many places that claim the pool is heated only to be disappointed. This pool was so warm we could swim in 18c weather on a cloudy day. We loved everything about our stay and the kitchen is very generously stocked with knives, cutting boards, kitchen scissors, etc. We could not recommend this airbnb and the hosts enough! The neighbours are also so kind and warm and even suggested walking routes for us and the dog. Don’t hesitate and book in now!

The cottage is a spacious, pleasant place with many amenities. Our toddler enjoyed running around and exploring the yard.

Nutwood Country Cottage

JahidRating, 5 starstoday
A Gem of a Stay – We’ll Be Back! We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. Louise was incredibly helpful and prompt with her replies from the get-go. I asked last minute if we could check out at 12pm, and she kindly extended it to 1pm — such a thoughtful gesture that really stood out. The cottage itself is spotless, cosy, and well-equipped. The kitchen had all the essentials, toiletries were provided, and although we stayed during a hot summer weekend, a tall standing fan was there to keep things comfortable. It’s tucked away in a peaceful, quiet spot with friendly neighbours, yet close to shops and takeaways — the best of both worlds. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the whole experience felt hassle-free. We’re already planning to return in the winter — it’s the perfect setting for a cosy night in. Thank you again to Louise and Jill for being fantastic hosts. A full five stars from us!
