Vacation rentals with a fire pit in St. Joseph

My wife and I have stayed at many vacation home rentals over the years, this one was one of the very best! First, I booked they house late afternoon on the day we wanted to arrive. Sarah responded immediately, accepted our booking and got me the access code to the property. It was all done within a few minutes! The house was beautifully decorated (my wife loved it and she is a designer!), well appointed and located very conveniently to all of the places we wanted to spend our time. We loved the hot tub, used the sauna almost every morning and our Golden Doodle loved the big fenced in back yard. Sarah and Brady are unbelievably responsive to needs too! One evening we wanted to enjoy the fire pit, but they were out of fire starters. I contacted Sarah at 7:36p, she responded at 7:37p and by 7:51 Brandy had already dropped a box of fire starters on the front porch! What?!?!?! Amazing. I HIGHLY recommend this place, we will be back!

This is our second stay in this home. Quaint, clean, and in the heart of New Buffalo. We loved that our dog could join us! Plenty of towels, linens, cleaning supplies, and amenities that made our stay comfortable. I highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and the back patio was a perfect addition as well as the hot tub for the evenings when it was chilly! Would definitely stay here again!

The house was very clean and cute. Small but everything we needed. Quiet and convenient to nearby restaurants and wineries. Nick was very responsive and helpful for our stay. There was a nice fire pit in the back with tons of firewood. Great place.

We immediately felt right at home in Barbara’s apartment on their family horse farm. Our children enjoyed selecting books to read from their entertainment center and playing outside with Barbara’s children. It was nice to have respite from traffic down their long lane and to be able to fully relax due to the safe picturesque country setting. We appreciated the reverse osmosis filtered water, comfortable room temperature, shower stocked with toiletries, and cozy blankets. We slept well and were refreshed and ready for another day of traveling. We would happily stay again!

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. My husband, our 15 month old, and I are moving to Ethiopia in a couple of months and we needed to spend one last time with our family. Fern’s listing was so close to where our family lived and we were able to have our own space and also spend time with family. We got to meet and visit with our host one morning and they were so friendly and welcoming!! We will definitely choose these wonderful accommodations again if we ever come back.

The place was amazing, very cozy Airbnb and for a great price! The view of the property from the Airbnb was beautiful and gives off farmhouse vibes, space was great for my family and I! We had some friends and family over and everyone was comfortable in the space and it didn’t feel cramped ! Very beautiful place with great home owners!

The location is perfect — just a short walk to all the shops, restaurants, and fun of downtown. The home was clean, organized, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool was a fantastic bonus and made our trip even more relaxing. Highly recommend for a convenient and enjoyable getaway!

We had another great stay at Mari-Beth’s place, and we look forward to staying a third time in the future.

The apartment was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the surrounding was so quiet and peaceful. Gary was an outstanding host, always quick to respond and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We had a great time staying there and would definitely come back again!

Had a great time with some friends at Candy’s property! She had helpful notes and cozy decorations all over the cabin, and we took full advantage of all the amenities she had to offer. We frequently saw ducks, swans, and other wildlife passing by and it was the perfect place to unwind and relax. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking to enjoy a weekend on the lake or take a breather from their busy lives! 🎣

Our family loves coming to this cabin. It is a wonderful place to stay with the great amenities such as the pond stocked with fish, the fire pit, grill, and walkable trails. It is such a nice place to stay and relax in the outdoors with the comfort of a cozy clean cabin to enjoy.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home tucked away in a peaceful rural setting. The house was full of charm and character, and the surrounding mature woods made it feel like a true escape. It's conveniently located near Three Oaks and New Buffalo, both of which offered plenty of great activities, dining, and local charm. Our dogs loved the space just as much as we did—especially the nearby dog beach! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and pet-friendly getaway.

We had a wonderful stay! We hiked the dunes and enjoyed beach time. Both were a short drive away. It was private and comfortable, kind of like glamping. Our kids loved the games and books in our down time. Beds were comfortable, and the house really had everything you needed. Beach toys, chairs and bikes were very much appreciated. Host was very responsive and had great recommendations! This was our first time in MI and didn’t know what to expect about the Saugatuck/Oval Beach area but the location of this place was awesome—all the sites/downtown Saugatuck/Oval Beach less than 12 minutes away! Home was cozy—kitchen well-stocked and beds very comfortable. Would recommend bringing your own water or water pitcher with filter—we weren’t used to MI water—not the best tasting. And would bring your own coffee-maker—if they replace current one in the kitchen, great! Keurig part of coffee-maker was broken and we alerted the host—carafe worked fine but pretty slow to brew. Would stay here again!

What a beautiful cabin! My husband and I were looking to get away for a few days and enjoy a cozy, private place! This home checked all of our boxes! Very nicely kept, home was orderly, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect as it snowed the day after our arrival and was peaceful and serene! We were able to start a fire in the fireplace and enjoyed relaxing on the comfy sofas! Huge soaker tub in upstairs bathroom and plenty of bedrooms and a fun basement area! The perfect setup! We will have to bring some friends back with us next time- tons of room for several guests to enjoy! We dined at several local restaurants (within a 10 minute drive) that were delicious and spent some time on Water St for shopping, food, and brews! A must-stay place!
