Pet-friendly vacation rentals in St. John

This triplex, that amounts to a five bedroom, 4 bathroom house worked exceptionally well to accommodate my three friends and me…All appliances worked well and we literally did not have any problems whatsoever … it is a Very safe location way up in the mountain; so safe was it that we never had to be concerned about locking the doors, day or night… I recommend this location without reservation! I’ve stayed at a variety of Airbnb properties in St Thomas and Haagensen House is my favorite for its uniqueness and privacy. The property manager, Harold, met me near the airport to ensure I found my way - I encourage future renters to do the same as nav systems can be spotty on the island. The decor was refreshing and nailed the old town vibe of Charlotte Amalie - I loved the colors and wood details throughout. The entry garden is breathtaking and the expansive patio overlooking the water was such a pleasant surprise - I couldn’t believe it was all mine. The AC in the bedrooms worked well and at night, there was a nice breeze if you kept the doors open in the main space. The hosts are the NICEST people!! I travel with my small dog and finding dog friendly accommodations in STT is very difficult. We were welcomed with open arms. They were so thoughtful, following up to make sure we were settled okay and didn’t need anything. I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this house. It exceeded our expectations, and the house was in excellent condition. The morning coffee on the patio was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We loved the secluded location of the house, but it was still just a short drive to the beaches, restaurants, and stores. Baron was an amazing host who even gave us some mango and coconuts from his backyard. The three AC units in the house were a huge plus, and the fully stocked kitchen was a great convenience. We would love to return to the USVI and stay here again. 10/10.

Just wow!!! We’ve been coming to the islands for about 30 years, mostly staying in St. John… but the views from this villa were the best we have ever had! The villa was just extremely practical and homey! The king beds and cold AC helped us to recover from long days of hikes, snorkels, beaches, and shopping! The decor was so nice and we loved the live plants and orchids! We enjoyed the huge tv as we watched the college World Series in the evenings. The breezes through the villa were very relaxing! We will plan to come again! Thanks Michael for being so helpful, attentive, and quick to respond!

The Airbnb and The host Ja were amazing! It was our last day in St Thomas and woke up to banging on the doors and gun shots at 1am-2am i had three children in the home and had to get them away from all the windows. Be aware of your surroundings.

Absolutely worth whatever is charged! The landscaping is so beautiful, the residence is immaculate, the hosts anticipated our every need, and we felt very safe and protected. The pool is amazing as are the views. Nearby grocery stores made it easy to prepare meals when we wanted to eat in. Easy to drive to restaurants. Cannot say enough good things about this villa. Brittany and Robert were quick to respond to any questions we had. Trust their recommendations. We spent a great day on a cruse to the British Virgin Islands with Justin, one of the captains of Salty Daze. It was wonderful and highly recommended to us by Brittany.

Place was great! Easy to find and Theresa helped me w/ the door code in a pinch (my fault not reading the instructions carefully 🫣).

This was a great play to stay with a really good layout. Nice to have two bedrooms on the same floor for a younger child, but then a downstairs room and game room for the older kids. Would definitely recommend this place! Very friendly staff as well!

Absolutely Perfect Stay at Just Peachy! Our stay at Just Peachy in St. John was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views of the mountains and ocean—it truly felt like paradise. She was incredibly responsive, always just a message away, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Waking up to breathtaking sunrises, lounging on the patio with the cool island breeze, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings made this trip unforgettable. This property has everything we expected and more. It is more spacious than what the pictures show. Not only the bedrooms are big, but huge bathrooms and closets too. Family had good time. Highly recommended.

Claudia was great and very responsive. Also gave helpful info for the ferry and jeep rentals. Curtis, the property manager was also great and helped us with a jeep and fishing & snorkel charter recommendations. Just good people that took good care of us. I'd highly recommend Claudia.

My husband and I spent 5 days at Susan's beautiful guest house and loved every minute of it! Susan's home was close enough to Cruz Bay to make it a quick drive to restaurants, the national park, shopping, ferry dock, markets, gas, etc. but far enough away for peace and tranquility. And the view of Cruz Bay was beautiful. The house was spotless and furnished with everything we needed for our stay. The furnishings were great quality and the bed was comfortable! I loved the outdoor showers , the gardens and beautiful patios with their archways and shell designs. Susan also provided beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler which we were so grateful for and used everyday! And best of all, Susan was so sweet to answer any questions we had and to offer suggestions of places we would enjoy exploring throughout our stay. We would 100% stay here again and would give her 10 stars if we could!

True Story was by far the best place we have stayed at on St John. It was like a mini resort with a centralized living area that contained the perfect living room dinning room laundry room kitchenette and kitchen fully equipped for all of our needs. It was nice to have it separated from the living room so that noise could not be heard by the early risers or late nighters hanging out. The bedrooms were in 2 separate buildings off the main living area. All 3 bedrooms were fully equipped and comfortable. The bedroom off the pool had the most amazing outdoor shower! Beds were comfortable and the double sinks were perfect for couples getting ready together. The porch/pool were so large with comfortable sitting areas and the views were like a dream! We had iguana visitors in the trees next to the pool that added a little more st john magic to our trip. The hosts were SO responsive and accommodating to any questions/needs we had. I'd give this place 11 out of 10 stars. Absolutely perfect 👌

Our group had an amazing time staying at Joys place. We are a very outdoorsy active group and after a day of snorkeling or hiking it was always nice coming back to her place for the amazing sunsets. You're super close to grocery stores restaurants equipment rentals shopping. Would absolutely recommend. Her and Chris were very quick and responsive with anything we needed.

Great little cottage with everything you need. Lorraine and Bob were very friendly and helpful.

Kim was amazing. Greeted us with a basket of goodies, gave great recommendations and let us know everything we needed to know about our stay there even down to details like putting sugar water on the balcony and you will see a little. yellow and black bird come for it…and it did! The unit had everything we needed. It was close to good restaurants. It was very peaceful. The balcony had a great breeze. We spent early mornings outside with coffee watching the birds and iguanas up in the trees. We saw a doe grazing on the property from up there too in the afternoon. Aiming to go back in the fall!

Kim’s place is AMAZING! The property was pristine! Easy to find, accessible to all the best spots on STJ, and a peaceful retreat after Long Beach days. AMENITIES LEVEL 1000! She has EVERYTHING you can possibly need for your trip and more. Ice trays, cooler, beach chairs, vacuum! As a single mom traveling with 2 kids she made it EASY. The parking area is one of the best! Her pool, beds, and balcony were the perfect retreat. We cooked meals each night and her kitchen had everything I needed to be able to do that. The bedrooms are private and comfortable. The pool and pool area was the perfect end of each day. My kids loved being able to jump in the pool after a good beach sand rinse. The sunsets are beautiful!!!! She was extremely responsive and helpful! We truly felt at home away from home and will be back! The frogs, birds, iguanas, and landscaping was beyond our expectations! Thanks Kim for an amazing stay!

Our stay at James and Tara's villa was absolutely wonderful! The villa is situated in a gated compound, which provided a sense of security and peace of mind throughout our stay. It's conveniently located just 5 minutes outside of Cruz Bay, making it incredibly easy to access town and all its amenities. The villa itself was immaculate and comfortable, exceeding our expectations in every way. It came equipped with beach chairs and towels, which made our beach days even more enjoyable and hassle-free. The thoughtful amenities provided by James and Tara ensured that we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a spotless, comfortable, and conveniently located accommodation on St. John's. James and Tara were fantastic hosts, and their villa provided the perfect setting for our vacation. Thank you again for a memorable stay!

This place was awesome. Beautiful views of Cruz Bay and the surrounding islands (for some reason they don’t have any pics of the views in the posting, which they should update!). Very short 5 min drive to the grocery store and all the restaurants and bars downtown. Very short drive to all the incredible north shore beaches. Pool is pretty small but the views from the pool area were great.

Karen's place was the perfect spot for us to stay for our honeymoon. The view was absolutely breathtaking and honestly topped any other view we saw in the week that we were there. The fact that it was right outside our window was incredible! The space itself was cozy and had everything that we needed. We also were so happy that we stayed on the Coral Bay side of the island as it was peaceful yet still close enough to everything else that we wanted to do. The drive up and down from the house is a little bit jarring at first, but we quickly became accustomed to it. Four-wheel drive is a must! We would not hesitate to stay here again any time we return to St. John!

This airbnb matched exactly to what I was expecting. It was a nice studio condo with outdoor space, nice pool and gorgeous views. Very close to Cruz Bay. Very happy with our trip.
