House vacation rentals in St. Ignace

The house was adorable and exactly as described in the listing, if not better! The house was updated, beautifully decorated and smelled amazing! Master bedroom was cozy and separated from the other upstairs bedrooms, which we appreciated for privacy. As other reviewers noted, the second bathroom is also on the main level but was nicely updated and spacious. The ferry is a quick walk and there are grocery and restaurant options within a short drive or long walk as well. Loved our stay and would absolutely stay again!

We had to cancel our trip last minute due to health concerns and heavy smoke from Canada. Jake was very responsive to messages and understanding of our health concerns. They were supportive and very professional in all communication and I hope to visit their listing later in the year. I have never had to cancel a reservation and deeply appreciate their understanding and respectful communication during our decision.

The Saunna works well. If you have a pet with you the small fenced yard is great. But if you pet is small, beware of gaps at the gate and by house. Escape artist dogs should stay on a leash. The enclosed porch is very cosy. Over all a very nice space.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very cute and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The waterfront was beautiful and it made for a lovely backdrop throughout the stay. The owners were also great at communicating and responded quickly. Highly recommend!

We were in town for a funeral, and I mentioned this to Patty before our arrival. When we got to the house, we were touched to find two travel packs of Kleenex thoughtfully left for us. I reached out to thank her, as I had gone through mine and hers at the service. The next morning, we found two more packs tucked in a Ziplock bag under our windshield wiper with a sweet note that said, ‘Just in case.’ It was such a kind and considerate gesture that truly made a difference during a tough time. As for the home, it’s perfect for a single person or couple. It was spotless, well-organized, comfortable furniture, ample closet space, and both the check-in and check-out processes were easy and straightforward. We would highly recommend and will stay there again without hesitation!

Trestin was an outstanding host. He was knowledgeable about the activity our vacation was built around, and gave us perfect tips for timing, parking, and planning. When our vacation took an unexpected and unfortunate turn right at the end, he extended his hand to offer help was able to assist us in figuring out what needed to be done. We would reserve with him again upon our next visit.

Splendid, immaculate, and amazing location!

Great place for our large family! Quiet, peaceful and very private. Backyard had a nice VB net set up and beautiful surroundings with the trees and some trails. Pool table was fun for all ages. Had a great cabin feel and ambiance, especially with the room with the bunk beds! Fun was had by all ages with the pool table. Internet and cell service were spotty and best obtained while outside, which was a perk because we were able to be present to each other rather than to the happenings online.

House was as described and the host put lots of thought into the little things. Very well stocked and very clean. Beds were comfortable. Centrally located for day trips. Sandy beach very close. Had a great time and would stay here again.

We had an amazing staycation right here in our city! The home was spotless, and the host provided super detailed instructions, including a video and local info. The hot tub, fire pit, and heated mat outside were such thoughtful touches. We loved the gaming, karaoke, LED lighting throughout (customizable by Alexa!), and the cool, private vibe the house offered. The kitchen was fully stocked — we made a taco bar and even a Black Forest cake! It was also great having central air and a gas fireplace for cooler nights. The layout is ideal for families, with 2 bathrooms and an office space that came in handy for remote work. The in-house laundry was a bonus for washing our swimsuits and towels. The host was incredibly kind and even came by to check the hot tub for us. You can really tell how much thought went into making this a perfect guest experience. Highly recommend — great place & hosts!

This place was so nice and relaxing! One thing that we were happy about is that they welcomed dogs! We have 2, 9 month old mini poodles and this was their first adventure so having a host that accepts pets was #1 on our list. This place is way better than the pictures! We felt right at home and we loved watching the boats go by on the river! The beds were so comfy and made for an even better relaxing time. I highly recommend this place. It is very private and quiet! We saw lots of different types of birds, including a couple eagles. We knew a beaver was close by but never got to see him, only his handy work. I wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back in the future! Thank you Donald, we soooo enjoyed your place!

Fantastic home! We loved everything about this place. Lots of space for our family of six. House was clean, stocked with lots of amenities. Linens, towels, board games, books, kitchen supplies.. We loved the beautiful view, deck, fire pit, dock, paddle board and kayak. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

We are a family of five that stayed at Howard’s Spruce Haven for several weeks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The setting in the woods was so peaceful and private and we enjoyed seeing all the wildlife. The fire pit and grill were a great amenity. Spruce Haven was conveniently located within minutes of nearby stores, restaurants, parks and beaches. The house was very comfortable and was well stocked with everything we needed-plenty of linens and kitchen tools and supplies. Howard was so hospitable, friendly and responsive anytime we communicated with him. We would be happy to stay again and would recommend his place to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable retreat in the UP!

Place was absolutely perfect. We were attending a soccer tournament and the location was perfect. The fenced in backyard allowed my dog to live her best life as she thoroughly enjoyed being able to run off leash.

Taylor’s airbnb is perfect for a peaceful trip, close to the lake & as pictured. Taylor is a great host! She provided great recommendations for local eats & things to do!! Thanks for having us! :)

Second year in a row I've stayed at Steve's place. Best AirBNB in the area for me to fish the Les Chenneaux Islands and Raber area. Plenty of room to park my truck and boat. House is super clean. Has all the amenities. Quite and peaceful. Goetzville Tavern is a 5 minute walk up the road. Steve recommended it. Just opened. Has Great Food! Steve is a great host. Quick to respond if any issures arise. Will be booking there next year too

Makayla’s place is gorgeous and she’s a wonderful host. The place could have had less (cute) decorations for those traveling with young kids. We hid most of them but missed one or two that eventually became casualties of the 3 year old. But Makayla handled it with grace. And was so kind in her exchanges going so far as to mail back the toddler’s favorite PJs and stuffy.

Ive rented alot of air bnbs over the years. So far? This has been the best experience ive had. The house was amazing. Super clean. Comfortable beds. Super well stocked with amenities that most places dont provide. Jennifer is super easy to communicate with and get ahold of. We will be back next year:)

Our family had a wonderful stay at Yvonne’s home during early summer. The condo was very clean, clutter free, tastefully decorated, and fully stocked of ALL supplies (facial and bathroom tissue, detergent, softener, coffee and all the accompaniments, towels, etc.). The location was fantastic, which made it easy for us to enjoy time in Harbor Springs, Petoskey, Cheboygen, and Good Hart. It was off the beaten path, quiet, and very beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing at the outdoor pools and hot tub. Yvonne communicated very well and responding quickly to any inquiries we had. She’s a wonderful host with a great home! Do not hesitate to book her home if it’s available!

Loved our stay in Michigan, we loved the privacy that the Airbnb gave us and the jacuzzi was so worth it!

Bill was the most attentive host we’ve ever had. He’s personable and communicates well and truly wants to make sure your needs are met. He met us at the cottage and did an in-person orientation of the home. I felt comfortable texting him if any questions came up later. This was a beautiful home and very well cared for.

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!
